Beautiful theatre. We just saw the play Baby. It was great. What a hidden gem this theatre guild is.

Truly an unsung gem of our community. BTG delivers fabulous shows put on by talented, passionate people at very affordable prices.

Awesome Venue! I saw «Spamalot» (Oct. 8,2015) last night and was so impressed with the BTG’s professionalism, singing, inventive costumes, and choreography that I will be attending much more often in the future and may become a volunteer. I was surprised to see so many of the cast members still in high school yet such accomplished performers. I’ve always been a fan of Monty Python and the original cast would have been proud of BTG’s adaptation. Bravo!

I have been slowly checking out the theatre scene here in Bellingham, and I have to say my experience at the Bellingham Theatre Guild was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a community theatre… EVER! They have ample parking, the theatre is fairly small, but they are well-​equipped. The play that I saw was Sam Sheppard’s «True West» and the actors did a fantastic job; it really was one of the best performances I have seen in awhile. The volunteer staff was very friendly and helpful, and during intermission they offered decaf coffee and snacks (donations were gladly accepted). One other thing that I really liked about this theatre is that they offered a brochure about the things they needed… things like flashlights, stools, chairs, paint jobs etc, and I thought this was a really great idea. It gives broke people like me an opportunity to help out in some way. Maybe we can’t cough up hundreds of dollars, but I’m sure we can spare some flashlights or maybe a pair of extra stools! Truly, a neat idea. I can’t wait to see their next production!

The Bellingham Theater Guild is a true gem of Bellingham. The Guild has existed for more than 80 years and presents several community theater plays each season. I attended the «Diviners» performance during the 2008 – 2009 season, it was well acted, had an interesting storyline and the director did a stellar job. Most importantly I had a great time and it was well worth the money.
If you enjoy local theater I encourage you to check out the Bellingham Theater Guild’s website and consider attending a play this season. I will be going to at least one show again this season.
