Surprisingly refreshing. I was searching the mall food court for something to quench my thirst when I noticed this bubble tea stand. In addition to offering bubble tea, they also do fruit smoothies or fresh juice drinks.
I was undecided, but the friendly employee behind the counter recommended Jasmine tea. She offered to make it with either green or black tea. In addition, she added peach and fresh squeezed lemon juice. It was delightful.
My medium-​sized drink cost me about $ 4.50. There was a clear film stretched over the top of the glass. The straws they offer have a spike on the bottom that will pierce the lid film (similar to saran wrap) and hold your straw firmly in place.
Apparently the taro bubble tea is very popular here. For those of you who don’t know, the «bubble» refers to the tapioca beads added to many of the drinks.
