We took 5 kids and it was amazing. The camels are so friendly and we all learned so much. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Even the adults had a great time. All they are talking about is going back. Thank you!!!

Like all the other reviewers, we had a great experience with the guided tour — it was a rainy day, so the dromedaries had to stay in the yard instead of roaming the field so they were complaining a bit. It was a bummer for them, but it was so interesting to see and hear them vocalizing :-)…and a joy to observe the warm relationship between the staff and the camels. I admit that I was really surprised at how much personality these camels have! I agree with all the other positive comments from other reviewers, but also want to mention that our tour concluded with a little«show and tell» in which we learned about different kinds of saddles, camel dental growth patterns, the difficulties associated with utilizing camel«wool» for knitting, and the emerging market for camel milk(!) If you are in Bellingham, this is a «must do” — it was super fun, even in the rain.

In town for the weekend and scheduled time for a segway tour and camel encounter on a Saturday afternoon. Will was our guide and was a great source of information. He answered any additional questions we had. He was awesome! We started off with our Camel Encounter and got to meet and pet numerous camels on their farm while Will explained a bit about the history and temperament of each camel. In the middle of our tour, we met the owner and got to talk to him for a bit. He explained how he got started with a Camel Farm. Great tidbit of information. They had 3 adorable dogs and got to pet them too! There were 2 adorably cute alpacas that run around the place freely and they pretty much leave you alone with the exception that they seemed to enjoy chasing and taunting the dogs. It was kind of amusing to watch. There were several horses and we got to see a baby that was only 4 days old. I was on cute overload! The segway tour was a quick ride around the farm. We had a quick lesson before taking off in turtle mode, which goes about 6mph. Then we went in standard mode, which is about 15mph. After the quick tour, we were allowed to ride the segways on our own. It was so much fun! I do recommend if you have long hair to tie it up as the camels will try to eat it as it looks like hay to them. I highly recommend visiting!
