Camp Bow Wow Bellingham

The owner of Camp Bow Wow is a despicable woman who is manipulative and abusive. She goes back on her word and will stab you in the back the first second she gets. She puts on a good front but don’t let it fool you. And I’m a pretty laid back person but I can’t stand people who are so two faced.
I would never recommend anyone to take their dog here or work here! She treats her staff even worse than the dogs.

I have also heard many great things about Camp Bow Wow in Bellingham, MA, so I decided to enroll my puppy here. They told me that my dog would be separated from the big dogs, and I was happy about that.
The first two times our dog went, she did great. On the third time, I went to pick up my dog and everything seemed fine. When I got her in my car, I touched her head and noticed blood everywhere. I took her back in, and they brought my dog in the back to clean her up.
They THEN decided to notify me that my dog got bit at nine that morning (mind you I picked her up at five that night) but they didn’t think it was serious enough to call me. There was dried blood all over her neck. They even know which dog had bit mine. They recommended I take her to the vet, which I did, and was informed she needed a staple since the vet could stick his finger in the cut (that’s how deep it was). She had to wear a cone for ten days, and was on three different meds.
I asked to speak to the owner, and she didn’t call me back until I basically forced the manager to get her to speak to me. When she did, she said I was overreacting and refused to meet with my husband or I to even discuss what happened. She was so unbelievably rude and hung up on me. All I was looking for was an explanation as to why I was not informed when my dog was bit.
After doing some research and speaking to other people who have sent their dogs there, this is NOT the first time this has happened. I just encourage you to be cautious, since I don’t think any dog should have to go an entire day with a gash deep enough to require a staple!!!

I Googled Bellingham Camp Bow Wow to look up their hours and saw the other review which was bad. I HAD to write one because in my experience, Bellingham Camp Bow Wow is GREAT. My 2 dogs visit on average 2x per week for usually a half day or so… so by now, its over 100 visits. The dogs pull the leashes (yes, bad behavior) to go to the door because they can’t WAIT to get there to play with the other dogs. They say dogs don’t lie…
I’ve used them for overnight boarding several times also and have had great experiences with that aspect of their business also.
The staff is always friendly, and obviously care about dogs… can’t recommend them highly enough.

Very poor customer service. I had used Camp Bow Wow on Florida for my parents dog and was very happy with the service and professionalism that location had. We ended up not leaving our dog at this site. Will not be back.
