Best recording experience of my life. The mixing was top notch, the recording and mic-pairing/engineer spent time swapping out mics to get the perfect sound for our instrumentation, and the environment was overtly gorgeous, with crystals mounted on the banister adjacent to all the famous records on the wall that were cut at this studio. It was a blessing to share the same monitoring room couch as other greats like Michael Harris of Idiot Pilot. But all of this would only be three stars in my book. The finished product arrived at the end of the day and sounded far superior than I expected it would. The bass was lush and present, the percussion punchy yet gentle and textured, and the instrumentation had such a great stereo image. This was the fourth star. I’m giving them the coveted fifth star purely based on how much love the engineers put into their job and how much they cared for me as a client. I had the utmost faith in them throughout the day as they guided me through the motions and I felt like family at the end of the session. I will be taking the trip 2 hours north to Bellingham for all my recording needs going forward. Go Bayside!
