I love super Mario’s all the employees know me by name and they say«the usual?» when I come in which is great because it’s essential for me to a respected member of my community. anyway get the wonder burrito and you will be lifted off this earth with euPhoria I know it’s a lot on my big hype train man but I must admit it’s the truth thanks

Wander burrito– Good: –Very good and unique flavors with the cabbage and marination. It’s not Mexican so don’t treat it like it is, it’s El Salvadorian… Not sure if its authentic but its good. –Hot sauces are on point! Both of them –Never had a problem with either locations service –Cheap enough to feel satisfied. Bad: — One thing I absolutely hate is when restaurants take EPIC pictures to represent their menu only to be COMPLETELY disappointed by the actuall product. The picture of this thing looks to good to be true… and alas it is. –Pretty lame amount of meat its mostly a cabage burrito but the cabage is good so it doesn’t take away from the overall experience. But it could be better. Skimpy amount of guac and s-cream as well. –Cash only. I get it but I hate it, and has been the reason I go elsewhere if I don’t have cash. –Often surrounded by the homeless. few times ago I saw one of the nice cooks hand a super hammered«outdoorsman» a free taco… that’s very kind but also the reason you have bums. In the big picture the bads don’t take away from the end product and I’m there solely to insert white log a) into open and willing mouth b) not to experience the world around me and reflect on my feelings while devouring said log.

Here, with $ 3, you can secure yourself two delicious tacos of chicken or pork, doused with cilantro and onion. The service is not fast, but for the price and flavor, you can wait.

Generous portions, friendly service, and yummy food! I stumbled upon this place after reading other Unilocal reviews and I didn’t regret it.

I ate at Super Mario’s every week when I lived in Bellingham, and always eat here first when I’m back for a visit. I am vegan and get the bean and veggie burrito. I only regret that the burrito is no longer 3.50 like when I was in college.

This is the original taco truck! Amazing food and always quick. I love the veggie wonder burrito most, but everything is great.

Best food truck in Bellingham. Wonder burritos! Call ahead to order if you’re in a hurry. Or grab a table and enjoy the sun.

Very slow and poor quality service. For a relatively easy to make food, the service was incredibly slow. It took 45 minutes for them to serve our three burritos and one tamale. And the crazy thing was, we were the only people in the restaurant when we arrived. The quality of the food matched that of the service. My daughter’s tamale was reasonable in size but bland and soggy to the point of almost requiring a spoon to eat it. As for the burritos, they were bland except for the few bites that actually had meat in them. The only redeeming part of the food was the hot sauce options. The restaurant came highly recommended by a friend, but we were disappointed. On a final note, my son did enjoy his burrito…

I lived and went to school in Bellingham. This taco truck has had the same location for years. The wonder burritos are ginormous! Their quesidillas and tortas beat all the other trucks in town because they are not dripping and soggy with grease. Kudos to you Los Salvadorianos. The salsa was the second best in town after bandito burritos until they closed. You can also check out Super Mario’s restaurant location on Northwest Avenue to get some fresh baked papusas filled with pineapple or raspberry or apple. Ridiculously good for buying extra and heating up in the toaster over for breakfast.

Way way WAY overrated! The Wonder Burrito is a pretty average burrito as far as what you can get in Bellingham; yeah they melt cheese in a different way but the ingredients are all pretty standard fare; the carne asada was actually very underwhelming, I’ve had much better carne asada in many different places. I was so disappointed after hearing nonstop how good the Wonder Burrito and the other food was here. The salsa was disappointing too. Both the green and red salsas were way too smokey and lacking flavor. I did eat the Pupusas at Super Mario’s too and those weren’t bad. The prices here are great however. My meal of three pupusas and one Wonder Burrito was actually around $ 10.00. Definitely not a bad place to stop if you’re hungry.

Super Mario’s ain’t called super for no reason! The super burrito is so super, it may be the best burrito I’ve had in the state. Yeah. Good stuff. And the apple turnover is pretty bomb too(although not very apple-y, but I’m ok with that). Highly highly recommended.

This is the best food truck food I’ve ever had. Their Salvadorian tacos, burritos, and pupusas are amazing and take quite a long time to prepare. You should call in your order and arrive(with cash only) at least 20 minutes after they say it will be ready if you don’t want to stand around waiting. They have hired who I assume is their daughter and her attitude is so bad and she is so rude that I won’t go their if she is working, and since I prefer to call in and don’t know if she’s there I have quit going there. I have 4 stars because of the unique amazingness of the food not the amazing mess of her rude.

Super Mario’s Wonder Burrito may just be the most awesome thing I’ve put in my mouth in a long, long time! This Salvadorian food truck, permanently parked under the awning of a defunct gas station, makes some damn tasty food– plus it’s fast and cheap. The Wonder Burrito(a layer of cheese, rice, beans, cilantro, onions, cabbage, sour cream, avocado and Asada, Chicken, Pork, Beef Tongue or veggie) is solidly built with a crispy on the outside yet still chewy flour tortilla. This thing is an entire meal that fits in your hand, and doesn’t fall apart until the last few bites. Add some of their red and green sauces as you go, and it’s nothing short of wonderful! All this for only $ 6.50 makes it one of the best values I’ve come across recently. Definitely looking forward to coming back for more the next time I’m in town!

Heard good things about this place, went there the other day to see what they had to offer. I ordered the wonder burrito, & my friend ordered 1 taco &1 burrito(pork), I have to say, that I wasn’t impressed, Waited 17 minutes, I can’t get that time back for OK food. The food was lacking flavor & the rice tasted like day old rice warmed up.

Thoughts on the Veggie Wonder Burrito 1. Whoever thought of frying cheese in a burrito is an effing genius. 2. They don’t skimp on the avocado. 3. Man up and get the hot sauce. Its way better than the mild. 4. Casa Que Pasa’s Potato Burrito is dead to me(Black Bean Super Crunch still lives).

I think I am in love with their Wonder Burrito. Usually, I look up reviews on Unilocal prior to trying out food places and am slightly disappointed. Not all food lives up to the hype, ya know? But the Wonder Burrito… mmm… I’m salivating as I’m thinking about it. The tortilla was oh so soft… just melts in your mouth. I dunno what they put into the Wonder Burrito besides mexican rice, cheese, avocados, and the beef tongue I ordered, but it’s definitely Wonder-ful! :D(Sorry, couldn’t resist the pun) The green sauce was tasty and there were 2 types of red sauces, one more spicy and the other one mild. The sauces sometimes live in the refrigerated compartment to the side of the the truck, if you don’t see them on the tables. The décor is simple — c’mon, folks! It’s a food truck! With some plastic tables for people to sit around. The place was very clean and tidy though. Tongue tacos were fab too. The meat was flavourful and juicy, and mine also had lots of cilantro and fresh veggies. And there is something fun about going down to a food truck in the middle of nowhere in an abandoned gas station, ya know? Makes the burritos and tacos more yummy. Can’t wait till my next trip down to Bellingham so I have an excuse to visit Super Mario’s!

This place is awesome!!! The gentleman that owns this place is super friendly and loves to answer any questions you might have about his menu. On my first trip I had the Pupusas and a couple tongue tacos. It was a ton of food, I even had to save some for later. The food is Salvadorian and done with love. Please support this family. I stop at this truck every time I am in Bellingham. I only wish he was closer to Seattle. Im getting hungry just thinking about Super Mario’s!

This Salvadorian restaurant has the best tacos and burritos in Bellingham! I love the wonder burrito and the pupusas are very good if you do not know what they are just order then and enjoy something new. They have the best green sauce around. I am so glad they opened a restaurant off Northwest st. Go forth and eat my friends and then come here. I have eaten at just about every place in town and this is the best when it comes to food just south of the border. I have been to Mexico 9 times now and the food here is just as good or better than down there.

How can it get any better? It comes from a truck. It’s El Salvadorian. The name is Super Mario’s. Sweet. Not only is it from a truck, it’s by the BGO. Skeptical of good food from four wheels? I know I was until I went there. My co-workers came back from their lunch break one day with pupusas in hand and raves of Super Marios on their lips. I tried a small bite of pupusas with the green sauce. HEAVEN! I dragged my boyfriend there that week to check it out. He was worried that I was taking him to a seedy van stand, but those worries dissolved when he himself tasted the pupusas. We also ordered Wonder burritos. He had pork, I had veggie. They are a good size, well-seasoned and the sauces are the optimal condiment. I like the green one, but the red is also good. The people are always friendly and if you know what you want, you can call it in, so it will be ready when you get there. Don’t think you can handle eating from a van? They have a sit down restaurant on northwest. This is one of the secrets of Bellingham. Truly a surprising gem.
