This place is terribly depressing. It’s hard to tell if the staff are deliberately acting miserable, or if it’s just the impending doom of the streaming video and redbox takeover. Soon all these nice little movie stores will be out of business, especially if they do not make browsing for films a little more enjoyable. It’s truly sad to see places with obscure movie collections disappearing… I mean, where am I going to find the 1988 classic«Hell Comes To Frogtown» when Crazy Mike’s closes? I’ll say one thing– having staff with sour attitudes is not going to solve any sub-par sales issues. Hire some enthusiastic college kids willing to help, reach out to customers, have fun, and arrive to work with a little less misery. Best of luck, I’m going to miss you when you’re gone(even the unfriendly staff).

Can’t beat $ 1 new release DVD/blue ray rentals on Tuesdays and free family/kid movies on Monday. Staff is kind and helpful!

Good staff, good prices, good selection, good atmosphere. But why the hell are so many of their DVDs scratched?! I rent several movies from them most Tuesdays, and you can guarantee that ATLEAST one will be too scratched to play correctly. Nothing more frustrating than finishing 40 minutes of a movie only for it to stop playing suddenly. THESTAFFNEEDSTOGETOFFTHEIRASSESANDFIXTHIS!!!

Poor video selection, good prices on Tuesdays though. Full moon makes the best horror Flix of which they had practically none, they don’t even have any of the Killjoys

This place will have any movie you could possibly imagine. From foreign films to comedy, the wide variety makes for the best Saturday night. The best part about it is that on Tuesdays any non-new release is only ninety nine cents for five days. Stock up people!

One summer, probably around 1990, my cousin and I were at our grandma’s beach house and we grabbed a VHS off the shelf to watch. It was Gigi, Grandma had taped it off of TV. Cousin and I LOVED the movie. We were totally captivated by it. But just as the movie was nearing its conclusion, the tape abruptly ended(when Grandma set to tape it from TV she accidentally had the timer cut off about ten minutes too soon). Cousin and I were DEVASTATED. We desperately wanted to know how the movie ended! And Grandma felt terrible. She went all around two different towns looking for a copy of this 1958 flick, nobody had it. Nobody, that is, except Crazy Mike’s! Grandma called them on the phone to ask if they had it, thinking it was a long shot, since she’d gotten nowhere with the chain video stores and grocery store video departments. «You bet we have it!» they said. «It’s in our Oscar winners section. We have every movie that’s won an Academy Award for Best Picture.» We were out at Birch Bay so it was going to be kind of a drive to Bellingham but the staff at Crazy Mike’s said, «Don’t worry, we’ll hold it for you.» And they did. Grandma came back with the movie and the three of us watched it together. It is still one of my favorites, thanks, in no small part, to Crazy Mike’s Video. Well done, Crazy Mike’s. Well Done. Thank goodness for you, and thank goodness for wonderful grandmas.

I will never get Netflix because it would deprive me of the interactions I get to have with the spectacular staff at Crazy Mike’s. Those guys have great taste in movie’s and wonderful suggestions. The store has a wide selection of movies and a really fantastic selection of horror movies. 99 cent Tuesdays is awesome! I get to watch crappy new releases for so cheap!

Yay! Crazy Mike’s! I loved this place! What a fabulous little movie place… I lived within walking distance of this place and when netflix didn’t come through for me I whisked my bum down the road to Mike’s. They always had some freakish film noir going on in the background and even after the remodel they still had the BEST selection in town. I remember one instance in particular where I was desperate for the 2nd season of Carnival and for some insane reason I decided to call hollywood and blockbuster… not only did they not have it they seemed pissed at me for wasting their time with«some unknown series» I wanted smack those jerks! Anyways, I called Mike’s and of course they had it… and the guy was impressed(not pissed) that I had heard of the show. Anyways I like the place, its awesome and it certainly got me through some tough weeks of heartbreaks at college with soppy foreign films.

Crazy Mikes is a great video rental place here in B-Ham, they have a fair amount of cult films and many other movie and film types. Price wise Tuesdays are the coolest days to rent .99cents each rental new and old! Can’t beat that deal! the staff all are nice and helpful. Good place to go to and support!

Ahhhhh Loco Miguel’s. I love this place. They have so many obscure old movies that you can’t find anywhere. They used to have more of these but many of them have closed down. Glad to know Loco is still alive and kicking.

You can rent a movie for 5 days for .49 cents on a Tuesday. Large selection and helpful staff. Its the only video rental place I would recommend.
