Dr. Cummins and his staff are awesome!
With 2 kids in braces, and both busy with extracurricular activities, it is always a challenge to get them in for the check ups. The staff has been great in helping us find good times to keep things rolling.
The results have been excellent as well. With one nearly out of braces, and the other more than half way, we are seeing excellent results.

Negative poster below could not be more wrong about Dr. David Cummins. Knowing him and his family for several years through his countless hours as a dedicated volunteer with both adults and children, we did our research before choosing to take our son to Dr. Cummins for full orthodontia treatment.
Everything was explained clearly to us and we understood the cost up front before we signed the paperwork. We thought the price was very fair. He willingly took the time to answer all of our questions. We were impressed with how knowledgeable Dr. Cummins was and his overall level of competence seems very high. (My daughter and I have both had braces so we know what to expect.) The office has many payment options to work with families and bills insurance, even multiple insurance plans.
My son is now several months into his treatment plan and we have never had any issues. Dr. Cummins evaluates where things are at during every appointment and makes appropriate decisions regarding progressing to the next step or allowing more time for correction. My 15 year old son likes Dr. Cummins and his staff and listens to and follows their recommended care guidelines. This is a kid we couldn’t get to brush his teeth regularly much less floss more than twice a year.
Dr. Cummins has a very professional demeanor in the workplace, but do not let his lack of chit-​chattiness ever be misconstrued as uncaring or unfriendly. Remember, too, you get back what you give. Outside of his professional career he is always very cordial and has a great sense of humor, not to mention a dedicated family man. We are very pleased with Dr. Cummins as our son’s orthodontist and would choose him again in a second. We will continue to refer our family and friends to his practice.

Cummins has consistently failed to greet me when I enter the office. He speaks over me and offers no warning when he puts his hands in my mouth. He rarely explains anything, and only then when asked several times. He and his staff have offered differing explanations to even basic questions. Cummins hasn’t pretended toward kindness or interest in me as a person or a patient since our first meeting; it is as though once he received my guaranteed custom he no longer cared about me.
Bottom line: find an orthodontist who treats you like more than a set of upside-​down teeth in a chair.
