Very friendly and speedy service! When they originally put the tires on this car they did a really nice job. Now three years later when I have a slow leak in one of the tires they are awesome and inspect the tires quickly found it was a faulty valve stem. Replaced it at no charge to have me on my way in no time.

Cole at my local Discount Tire is an angel. Helped me get back on the road with new tires when I was just getting back on my feet after no job for 6 months. He worked out a deal with me so I didn’t have to choose between rent and tires. Thank you Cole!!!

I cannot say enough how much I absolutely love Discount Tire! I have just about the worst luck ever with things getting stuck in my tires and Discount always saves the day! Prices are extremely reasonable, I absolutely LOVE the insurance, BUT nothing tops the EXCELLENT customer service here. Everyone is always extremely friendly to me, the job gets done quick and they always seem to put a smile on my face during a horrible time. Thanks so much for everything you guys do! Refuse to go anywhere but here! Keep up the awesome work and hope to see these awesome customer service employees around for a LONG time!

After a week of talking to Brandon, Devin, Tony, & Larry on the phone. Tires ordered not showing up, Tires out of stock. Well Larry made a good deal on these Yokohama’s, and so I got em installed on Saturday, & the Labor Day rebate got me another $ 100 off. In and out in 45 minutes. Compared to other regional and national chains, Discount Tire Bellingham has been the best for my $$$.
Last summer on this same car one of my Ford OEM Continental tires had a slow leak from a nail in it. Ford said no warranty. I went to Discount Tire on Lakeway to get it repaired. They did it under 30 minutes for free. Ya for free. How do you stay in business doing free stuff???
I did compare tire prices at 2 other chains for comparison, before getting these Yokohama’s. Discount Tire’s Bellingham prices are fair and their service is very good. See ya next time.

The other reviews you read about Discount Tire and this location are true. I’ve been coming here for about five years and every experience I’ve had has exceeded my expectations.
Their prices are competitive, if not the lowest, their service is outstanding and they are super friendly.

The positive reviews here are well deserved. I had barely finished parking and someone came out to my car and greet me and get me checked in. They said they would be done in 30 minutes so I went to roam around Fred Meyer.
I returned after 30 minutes and everything was done. I walked in, got my keys and took off. So easy.
The guys were all clean cut, professional, and took customer service seriously. I will be back with my other vehicles in the future.

I have not ceased to be amazed by the consistent service at this location. Even if I need to add some air, the customer service comes out to my car, checks the pressure and adds the correct amount with a friendly smile and thanks. Their turn-​around time and prices cannot be matched. Wow!

If anyone needs new tires in less than 20 minutes, this is the place to go. My tire blew and they put a new tire on super fast and reasonably priced. The guys were also super friendly and talkative. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I was test riding a motorcycle before buying it. It rode horribly so I went to Discount Tire in the same shopping center I was in. The young men cheerfully checked and found the pressure was WAY low. They put the correct pressure in and I was soon on my way back to Seattle with a new toy.
No charge, and LOTS of appreciation. I’ll hit up a DT store next time I’m in need for tires, for sure!

Yes, Discount Tire is a very good place to shop. They have treated me well for several years. When it’s time for a rotation, they send me an email. You make an appointment so there is as little wait and frustration as possible. Several different brands to select. Coffee and newspaper will be there for you, or just walk over to Fred Meyers and do your shopping, but you’ll have to be pretty quick because Discount Tire is efficient.

Told by an oil change company that I needed new back tires. They gave me a quote of $ 226.00 for two new back tires.
Made an appointment at Discount Tire for a «tire rotation» to see what they had to say. They also told me I needed two new back tires, but quoted me at $ 119.00. This was the price after my discount… I had bought the tires that needed replacement from Discount Tire, and I had not gotten my full mileage out of them. So I was discounted $ 22 per tire that needed to be replaced! They had me out the door with two new back tires in 20 minutes and my front tires were rebalanced. It was fabulous.
Did I mention that the $ 119 price includes free replacements or repairs of those tires if needed?
In addition, employees were all very polite, the waiting area was clean and had complementary water bottles and coffee.
It is very infrequent to come across a business that has so much integrity. They are honest and wish to save you money. I strongly recommend this place to everyone.

I am hoping to come back and change this review but I tried e-​mailing them 10 days ago and it goes to a general mailing box which told me the inquiry had been sent to the Bellingham location but every time I follow up I just get a response that the inquiry has been forwarded. I had hoped to go get new tires this weekend but without having the information I have requested I think I may just stay here in Vancouver. 10 days seems like much too long to wait for information… especially when it is like hey I would like to give you money, I am just wondering how much I need to give you (which tires to buy).

Overall, discount tire is a great place to get tires and rims! I’ve gotten a brand new set of tires an rims here. The only problem is 2 weeks after I got the brand new tires, I got 2 flats within those 2 weeks. I went to discount and they replaced the tires for free that weren’t fixable. Even with these issues I would still recommend it. They are super friendly and have a lot of offers to offer you! They are also as quick as can be and there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t see that they don’t have customers.

We live in Vancouver but did some research about buying our tires for my boyfriend’s truck in Bellingham. We compared Costco & Discount Tire. After finding the same product at both, Costco at first seemed cheaper. We met with Discount Tire, they price matched and installed them that day. Since then we head down every 8000 km to get the tires rotated. We are always met with exceptional customer service that is kind, courteous and makes us feel like valued customers. We also appreciate the free wifi and bottled water in the lobby.
In contrast, I bought my own tires at Costco Canada — and have been met with poor service that is slow, impersonal and cold. My next tires for sure will be from Discount Tire.

I used Unilocal to help me make a decision on where to purchase tires. I had both some frustration and some excellent customer service while getting my tires and TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) replaced.
Discount Tires made an excellent recommendation on tires, which were equal (or better) quality to what I had been looking at and saved me several hundred dollars. When I went to the store to have mine replaced, they didn’t have all four in stock. They were ordered from a Seattle area store to arrive Monday afternoon. When I arrived for my appointment I discovered they hadn’t arrived. This was the second time I had taken time away from my business to take care of the tires and also had a wheel alignment appointment first thing the next morning, so was frustrated that no one had called to let me know not to show up. Rod, the manager, offered me another set of tires that were more expensive. I declined but appreciated his customer service as well as his education on the pros and cons of staggered tires,
I got the new tires on Tuesday, drove a short distance, drove again Wednesday for two miles when a red tire pressure warning light came on. I was afraid to drive so called Rod. By that time I was late for an appointment so wasn’t able to come into the shop. We tried to resolve the problem via phone but weren’t able to. After talking with Rod I felt fairly comfortable driving with the light on to the alignment shop the next day and having him take a look at the issue.
I was diving to Oregon early Friday morning, so was especially concerned about getting this resolved. The automotive shop wasn’t able to fix the red warning light issue, but a specialty shop was. It took a couple of hours that day to get everything resolved and know I was safe to leave for my trip the next day.
I spent way too much valuable time getting these tires, but am attributing the challenges to being an exception. Both through Unilocal and verbally I’ve heard great things about this tire store. What really saved this frustrating experience was the excellent customer service from Rod. He even did a follow up call to make sure everything was resolved.

Need tires? Cross the border and come here. You’ll save a ton.
I shopped around a couple other places before coming here. There were a few customers waiting, but I was helped right away. I gave him a lower quote on a inferior tire and he beat it just like that. He didn’t even ask for a copy of the quote.
He gave us a great recommendation on a nearby mom and pop breakfast joint and we returned 45 min later and the installation was already done. This all without any appointment.
Make sure you throw out the receipt before heading home!
