I love coming here when I’m in town. I always stay at four points Sheraton and this pub is connected. The food is better than most places I eat that are attached to a hotel. Plus, they have a pretty unique drink menu. Oh and not too mention the open mic nights with people who can actually sing really well. I think it’s every Tuesday night or maybe I just get lucky whenever I come into town.

Went there to meet a friend for a drink and visit. Friend was a bit later than we had planned. The server was very attentive and brought me my gummy bear martini which I am told is one of the favorites. They have some great happy hour drinks and appys too. I ordered the onion rings and they came quickly and were super hot with a yummy Chipolte mayo dipping sauce. Cant wait to go back. Oh on Sundays the have tons of football game specials and even raffles.

This is my go to night out spot! The one thing I hate about living in a college town is that all the college kids are out getting drunk downtown all weekend, and I don’t have a place to sit back and relax with a drink. Or rather that used to be the case until I took a friends suggestion and went to Poppe’s! I love this place! The food is pretty good, but the drinks are where it’s at! The shakers and delicious and at a great price. I always go in and get a gummy bear and walk out satisfied without feeling like I over did it, or like I was surrounded by crazy kids. The atmosphere is chill and upscale, and the outside seating area is perfect any time of year!

Good service and good staff. Love the seating area outside with the fireplaces. The live band is great and fun to watch.

This is a great upper-scale bar that doesn’t have the same small-town local feel most of Bellingham is known for. It isn’t a bad thing but it doesn’t have to seem much personality. Food and drinks are brilliant and that is why it got a 4 instead of a 3 and the prices is why it got a 4 instead if a 5.

Had a great time here! I am a best western fan so… :) the food was delicious. The drinks are a good price for fancy cocktails and yummy. Lots of nice drink options and happy hour is a steal. Happened to come on a night with seriously amazing live music so that was a bonus. Staff was friendly and fun! They have neat fires on the patio as well although I had to stay inside to listen to the awesome tunes.

I very much enjoy the atmosphere here. A classy bar with a beautiful outside set up as well. One of my favorite things about Poppes is the wait staff. I found them to be energetic, friendly and comical! The drinks are very good, but I wouldn’t order the nachos again. Look up their schedule of events before you attend, you never know what you’re going to get! Sometimes there’s comedy sometimes there’s music, sometimes it’s so full in there you can’t find a seat!

Terrible. I was here for a business trip and the hotel recommended staying in so we did. The gal who was our server came up to us a few times before we had the chance to look at the menu. We ordered 14 hands cab(which was diluted) and then the flatbread pizza. After ordering the pizza we waited for 40 minutes with no server in sight. The place was super dead maybe another table and some guys at the bar. We FINALLY got out food and it was cold. To be expected when you wait that long for pizza. Still no waitress. I got up and asked the bartender for more water, he vigorously apologized — went to find our server, waited another 20 minutes asked for the bill and didn’t see her again. Management how can you let something like that happen?

Great atmosphere for a neighbor hood pub. Happy hour has good choices on drinks. Often live music to add to the experience.

Came here first night of our ‘staycation’ and ended up coming back the second night also. Good music and food.

What a treat to find this bar in the Best Western hotel. Thankfully they had the Seahawks game on, Tabitha was wonderful and managed a very large and thirsty/hungry crowd with a smile on her face. We ordered a variety of appetizers with my favorite being the humus platter. The pita points were warm and delicious. The drinks were well priced and 4 apps and several rounds later the bill did not leave us in tears. Perfect!

Poppe’s360 is a diamond in the rough! Excellent staff, very friendly, and attentive to customers. Great menu and entertainment that changes nightly. I come here on business often and always look forward to spending some time here!

Two and a half stars would be more fitting. One day I go in there and I’ll get ignored and leave. Then, the next day there will be friendly, attentive people working there. So I’ve been there when they deserve a 0⁄5 and when they deserve a 5⁄5 The food is good if they bother to even ask if you’d like some.

This place has good reviews, I didn’t think it was so great. At 9:30 on a Wednesday night it was dead. Like only a dozen people all of which were old, loud and drunk. The service wasn’t that good either. I didn’t even finish my drink, I was so bored I left.

Stayed at this hotel for one night and decided to check out the restaurant/bar, the food and drinks were amazing to say the least. Prices are about average but they have nightly deals going on. Their cocktails are just to die for. Definitely recommend this place to anyone passing though the area

If you are looking for a more upscale place to go(like on a date or something) Poppe’s is a good choice. They have excellent martinis, great service, and a yummy appy menu(don’t miss the crab cakes). It can get a little loud if there’s a band, but if their beautiful outdoor patio is open you can just move out there. The ambiance is dark and romantic, and it’s a good place for a couple or a large group. They also have a full bar so if you’re not in the mood for a martini they have everything else too(including beer and wine). Prices are a little high for Bellingham, but pretty typical for a hotel bar.

I have to say up front that I am not much of an expert on ‘nightlife’ – as I am staying at the Lakeway Inn, though, I decided to have dinner and some relaxation downstairs. I visited at 5:15 on a Monday evening, and, predictably for that time of that day, there didn’t seem to be a whole lot going on except for some ESPN on the screens and some Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus for ambiance. So, my review will focus on the food and drink, rather than whether the place is «happening» or not. I decided to order drinks from their«Winter» seasonal menu; I do like getting in on ‘limited-edition’ types of things. First was a Golden Goose Martini, which was a pleasant balance of Grey Goose vodka and Goldschläger liqueur. I ordered the Northwest IPA Fish & Chips plate for dinner; the fish seemed very fresh, and the breading was crisp and flavorful. Even the fries were great; they were very crispy and seasoned with fresh herbs and a hint of citrus flavor. As a ‘dessert’ drink, I had a Black Forest Martini, which was described as Svedka vodka with Chambord and Crème de Cacao liqueurs. It was a bit sweeter than the first, but still had a nice balance and was very enjoyable. The waitress was very attentive throughout the entire visit, and the final bill felt quite reasonable for the quantity and quality that I recieved. I get skeptical when places that are built into hotels advertise themselves as destinations unto themselves, but I can’t really say anything negative about my experience at Poppes 360 – I got good food and nice drinks for a decent price. I still don’t think I’d visit if I weren’t staying the night here, but that’s just because I shouldn’t be drinking martinis before driving home to Woodinville.

We used to go here all the time in college. Happy hour was great. You could get a great deal on food and a martini. They give you the whole shaker too! We had dinner there for the first time in awhile and I was disappointed. They no longer offer happy hour snacks! The menu has changed as well. Bummer :( Regardless, the food IS good and the drinks are well priced. But I was hoping for more tonight and I just didn’t get that. I ordered the steak bites and Jake had a burger and fries. I had a glass of wine for $ 4 and Jake had a couple of beers for $ 7. Our bill was around $ 30.

I was surprised to realize that this is a hot spot in Bellingham. On a Friday or Saturday night this place is jamming. Why? I don’t know why people are drinking at a hotel bar in a Fred Meyer parking lot, but they do. The food is great and drinks are great. Go for happy hour and you won’t feel too bad about the drink prices and food. The one thing I do love about this place is how they give you the drink and the remainder in the shaker… just like an old timey milkshake, but with alcohol. YES!

This place is pretty swanky for a motel bar, but it’s still a motel bar. Since I was staying at the Best Western Lakeway Inn that this establishment is connected to, my companions and I decided to try out Poppes’ happy hour. The outdoor patio area is pretty cool with lots of seating and a few gas fireplaces, but the view from the patio is the hotel parking lot– and the flank of huge tour bus(which was noisily idling and spewing diesel exhaust for at least 10 minutes) during our visit. Our server was quite nice, but it seemed like it took longer than necessary to return with the goods each time she took a drink order, and the wait for food was RIDICULOUS! When we were all ordering appetizers off the limited(8 item?) happy hour menu, it seems way out of whack to be sitting and waiting a full hour for said appetizers to arrive at the table. One of the dishes we requested wasn’t available(making the limited menu that much more limited), so we settled on calamari, loaded cheesy fries, and hot wings. Once they finally did show up, the food was pretty damn good and serving size surprising generous(especially the calamari) for $ 6 each– but by that time we were so hungry a can of cat food would have been a treat. With so many other drinking and dining options in Bellingham, I won’t bother with this one again.
