Does anyone know if Eklektik is still going? Tried calling the number and got a ‘disconnected’ message.
Merideth gives the most fantastic haircuts. I have thick, obstinate hair and the inverted bob cuts she gave me were amazing. A bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.

I wanted to write a belated review for a great haircut I got from Meredith @ Eklektic Salon — she did a fantastic job. I live in Seattle and usually get my hair cut down here but was going up to visit family @ Christmastime so I got an appointment with Meredith in Bellingham. My sister’s boyfriend has been getting his hair cut by M for over a decade and my sister is now a long-​time client as well. My sister’s hair always looks great now, so I decided to have mine cut there too. She did a great job — hair looked awesome and grew out really well — Meredith cuts hair with that in mind (that it will grow out looking good). I was really happy with the results, and she was fun to talk with as well. The salon has a nice relaxed atmosphere.

I moved to Washington about 10 years ago, and it took me several years to find a stylist that wouldn’t absolutely destroy my curly long hair. Not only did Merideth not destroy it, but she has a innate talent for finding the perfect color and cut to fit each individual. I have sent about half a dozen friends her way and everyone has been as happy with her as I am — some even drive up from other parts of Washington to get appointments with her. She is a true professional and is worth every penny.

More than amazing, Merideth is a true artist. I just leave all decisions to her and have never been disappointed. Plus, the scalp massage hair wash is to die for. I just had her do my hair for an anniversary and my hair looked WAY better than it did on my wedding day. As for appointment, call as soon as you can! I live in texas, so I call months in advance…

Glam rocks, esp. at this salon. M has been doing my hair for several years as well and she has the bleaching process down to a fine science. I am stopped several times a week by people asking where I get my «do» did. Even the old peeps love it, and I think that is a compliment?!! She also does a good hairwash do… Thanks

Eklektik’s owner, Merideth, has been cutting my hair for seven years, whether I’ve been living in Bellingham or not. The stylists at Eklektik are always on top of hip styles and know what looks good on different people. I get so many compliments on my hair, and many of those people have started going to Eklektik themselves. They are expert colorists as well, and their prices are very reasonable. I recommend calling a week in advance to ensure getting an appointment when you want.
