I had to get my brakes fixed on my Mini pronto. I went to The Guide Midas and told them exactly what I needed and they did a full inspection and then gave me an idea of the price. And although the price to get my brakes fixed was crazy high, I know it was cause of my car and the condition of the brakes. They did a great service and had my car ready when I promised. Plus the customer service was excellent.

I got a $ 19.99 oil change coupon in the mail. It cost me $ 29.34?
I made a appointment for 10:30 he said give him an hour. It was done at 2?
The underwriter was nice… but he had some serious time management issues. I went to check my truck in and he proceeded to clean the office as I stand there. It took so long to just pay for my truck? I think management needs to look at the customer service aspect of the front desk. He needs some help.
My truck was not vacuumed, the Windows and mirrors weren’t cleaned, and there were oil finger prints on my steering wheel.
I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I went in for an oil change and a million questions about my non working ac. The guy was great, he was super nice and friendly, explained everything he was doing and made sure I was okay with prices as he went. Gave me a time estimate which didn’t take as long as I thought it would. Now my oil is changed, my ac is working great and I know my car is in tip top condition. Ready for a thousand mile road trip. Thank you very much.
Wish I wasn’t so bad with names. But I’m glad I happened to stop by and check them out.

The workers were helpful and accommodating. There is only one person checking people in, cashing people out, and answering phone calls. That’s a lot of work for one person and he handled it as fast as humanly possible. They were able to diagnose and fix my problem in two hours, giving me several options in different price ranges. 5 stars for friendly, awesome service.

They are «So Slow». I should take more than 2 – 3 minutes to check someone in for a simple oil change. The service writer here manages to extend it to 15. Move them along man, we don’t have all day !!!

Many years ago, I stopped by one dark late afternoon to have them look at my misbehaving brakes (still functioning with no indication of immediate malfunctioning). Quoted a price I knew was too high & I declined. They put everything back on car (I should have watched them.) Less than a half mile away my brakes went out completely! Coincidence? I think not.

I came in with what I thought was a bad battery.
Note: You’re correct in assuming I am not an auto mechanic which would be the reason why I stopped at Midas.
They put in a new battery and afterwards I said I need to test the old battery to ensure that it surely was dead. Turns out it still has a lot life in it and then they test the alternator and determine it’s the alternator that I need and not the battery. I tell them I need an alternator then and not a battery. I ask to take the new battery out of my car (takes like three minutes) and put the old one back so I can put that money towards a new alternator. Too late they say the battery is already installed and they won’t take a battery back once installed (even after five minutes) as if it’s already worn underwear. I insist that they return the battery as they’ve provided me with something I don’t in fact need.
I am told they put in a battery because that’s what I said I needed. I tell them I’m not a mechanic. They say I should have asked for some idiotic $ 50 diagnostic test instead. We went back and forth before I just gave up.
Now I have an extra battery that I’m not sure when or if I will ever need. If you go there be sure not to suggest anything because they won’t think for themselves and find out if you’re suggestion has merit. This place is horrible so just steer clear of Midas. Especially this one.
