It is fantastic. I love the burgers here, so much more than wins or boomers. They are cash only, so deal with it and don’t complain. I get a double meat and cheese here at least once a week, and it’s totally worth whatever that does to my body. I really just posted this review to follow up on «Steve S.» review because he seems like the biggest POS I’ve ever seen in my life. Look at his profile. The dude reviews multiple red robins, and thinks they have the best food in whatcom county. He reviewed a 7⁄11. This is more a review of «steve s» and how much he clearly sucks. He talks about stuff he heard from«other Unilocalers» verbally, like there is a secret community of Unilocalers or he goes to a weekly« Unilocalers» meeting. You’re not special because you can use a f***ing computer dude. He reviewed Rock n Rye and gave them 1 star, because he almost spilled the taco on himself. He didn’t even say anything bad about the food. Seriously, Steve, I feel bad for your wife.

Great place for a burger. The place is pretty bare, but the food is cheap and delicious. Not much selection beyond burgers, but they do those very well. Nothing fancy, just simple summer style burgers, and some of the best crinkle cut fries in Whatcom county. The only reasons I don’t rate that final star is 1) They only accept cash and 2) They post a closing time of 8:30, but I have been by earlier and they are already closed. All in all, better than 5 Guys at half the price.

Probably the cheapest place to get a great burger in town. Very straight forward. Fries and onion rings are delicious. It is cash only so that is a little inconvenient but not a deal breaker. I come here all the time.

So today when wondering what to have for lunch before work Morrie’s drive was suggested so i figured why not. The menu is small and gives no real info about the food a deluxe burger… okay what is on that? So we order problem free. We take our food to go. The restaurant itself doesn’t have an inviting atmosphere. I got the deluxe bacon cheese burger and a side of fries which i think was almost $ 8. which isn’t bad for lunch… untill we got home. So the patty if self is the smallest«burger» i have ever seen. I actually weighed it with cheese stuck t it it came in at a whopping 1.75oz that is not a joke people 1.75oz that is less than one half of an eighth of an oz of meat. I have been in the restaurant industry for years now aand the fact that this lace is making food like this is truly sad. please if you care what you eat DON“T GOHERE!!!

so so so so much better than wins. its a shame there is a racist-ass 1 star review bringing down the average of this place. Seems like that kind of s**t shouldn’t be allowed on Unilocal

As other reviewers have stated, the food is nothing to write home about. I actually felt cheated afterwards. One of those where you walk out thinking, «mental note: don’t eat here again.» The restaurant business is hard, but it is also hard to make this kind of bad food. Guess one has to start with subpar ingredients, then everything is downhill from there.

For many years I have wondered what Morrie’s Drive In was like, so I finally decided to try it. I first tried about 6 months ago but I didn’t have cash that day. Keep in mind they only take cash, no credit cards or checks. First let me say that I am a fan of the classic burger restaurant, and typically like this type of food. Going to Morrie’s was a mistake. When I entered the restaurant, I was the only one there at Noon. I waited over 5 minutes at the counter for one of the workers to take my order. There were just in the kitchen area gabbing. They looked at me a couple times, but didn’t seem interested in taking my order. I ordered the double meat, double cheese burger with onion rings and a root beer. The total was around $ 9.50, which I would have been happy with if the food had been good. Other reviewers have described the food as bland, and I would completely agree. I don’t know how they could create a burger that lacked flavor. The plain cheeseburger at McDonald’s has more flavor than the Morrie’s double burger. The onion rings were over cooked, and were really tough to eat. The root beer was great, but how can you go wrong with soda. My recommendation is to stay away from Morrie’s, or go to any other burger place in town, for instance Five Guys, Boomers, Fiama Burger, Bobs, Red Robin, even Burger King would have been an improvement. Cons: * they only take cash, no credit cards. * slow service. * bland food. * over cooked onion rings. Pros: ??? I can’t think of one redeeming factor that would make me want to return to Morrie’s.

Probably a 3-star by itself, but compared to Grant’s burgers, it’s a notch down. first off, the patty is way too, too thin, even makes Mcdonald’s generous. I get it’s ‘you get what you pay for’, but this was insane. Plus, the lettuce and the thousand island sauce way over drenched. at least the bun had some sesame seeds lol. And the milkshake, while good in texture, was chocolate sauce added to vanilla ice cream – in a pepsi paper cup, another turnoff lol. Lots of place to sit inside, clean, though quite plain, and no outlets to charge your phone. Friendly service, brought food over. I won’t be back.

The burgers are as good, maybe better than any other fast food place in Bellingham. The family that runs it is always friendly, yet to the point. They take your order and then get right on it. One of the big draws for me is they were rated as one of the top 10 food service establishments in Bellingham with a spotless record from the health department.

I love this place! They remember regulars, they remembered me even after I had not been there for months. The food is fantastic and even though it is an old building it is kept super clean

Ghetto Ghetto Ghetto. I am speachless. I just got home and threw the bag straight in the garbage. I should’ve gotten my money back after witnessing the cooks handling all of the food after touching money, counters, ect. Yuck. The place looks like it should be on kitchen nightmares; it is foul. Not to mention the really low life crowd, which only consisted of well, low lifes. Do not eat here.

Pros: –Good old-school drive in burgers and WAFFLE fries for cheap. –Food served very hot. –Good no nonsense service Cons: –Interior of restaurant is very sterile. You can order from the front window or go inside to the counter. The interior is exceptionally clean, but lacks some personality. No pics, white walls, and no music. It’s not bad, just very sterile. The food is great. The menu is small and classic; burgers, fried shrimp, fries, waffle fries(thank the gods!), shakes, etc. Did I mention corndogs? It is delivered super hot, and it tastes like your basic-but yummy– drive up café burger. If you love the basic, yummy burger, this is your place. I can’t find one single thing wrong with my order. It’s exactly what I wanted and what I expected. Cheers.

My husband is a much bigger fan of this place than I am, but it is good solid drive-in food and very affordable. The woman behind the counter is no nonsense but friendly. Be forewarned, it is CASHONLY, so make sure you head to an ATM first. Note to Disabled: Reasonably accessible, has its own parking lot

Morrie’s Drive in has good food, the burgers and shakes are cheap. I love their milkshakes, especially the blackberry vanilla and the burgers have a lot of flavor. sadly they use frozen crinkle cut french fries but they still taste good.

Well it was exactly what I was expecting from the reviews. Very limited menu(no Chinese food other than prawns on 5÷31÷11) but standard drive in fare. I got a deluxe burger and onion rings, then decided to add a corn dog(since I just got a single). Decent burger, good rings and good corn dog. The first lady asked if I wanted tarter sauce for the rings(must be a Pacific Northwest thing like fry sauce) and looked confused when I asked for ketchup(I got some ranch dressing for the rings). I love local places like this. My other choice was FiveGuys, but I figure I can always find another of those.

I know this fast-food establishment has been around for decades, but I only just noticed it this past holiday weekend. I was looking for a quick snack so I stopped here. While older and probably never remodeled, the interior with a linoleum tile floor was spotless clean. A friendly woman took my order for onion rings, a chocolate shake and a large Diet. It didn’t really make sense to her that I wasn’t getting a hamburger, because she quizzed me twice, «No burger?» It probably didn’t make sense, but I had to save room for the barbecue my sister was having later in the day. It’s interesting. One of the Unilocal reviews indicated that the owners were Chinese. Another reviewed stated that the owners were Vietnamese. And I thought they were Filipino! In addition to your usual burgers, Morrie’s has Italian sodas, a cube steak sandwich, shrimp and corn dogs. My chocolate shake was wonderfully thick with a good chocolate flavor. The onion rings were satisfactory as was the accompanying tarter sauce. Though, I wished the tarter sauce had more pickle and less mayo. Regardless, in my opinion, prices were cheap and Morrie’s fills a niche that I don’t believe any other restaurant does in Bellingham.

This place is a 1 star for food, but hey it’s just a drive in spot. It will bring back your fond memories of the Ski to Sea carnival burgers year round. I rate it a 4 only because for me it’s nostalgic to eat here. The Vietnamese family that has owned it for close to 2 decades has altered the original allure of the joint but I can’t complain. It used to hail a full selection of ice cream and now they are all about the make it to order milkshakes and combo fast food Chinese. I’m not of big fan of that taste simply because I’m spoiled by the real deal. I would visit Morrie’s again and again when I’m in town for two reasons, I love the owners and it truly makes me feel at home.

This is a dive. Plain and simple… But its been a dive since I was born in Bellingham. The food is greasy and consists mostly of cheese burgers and other fried foods. They did start selling Chinese food about 6 years ago, but I would recommend you stay away from it. The restaurant is ran and owned by a Chinese family that is very friendly and more then happy to serve you. I guess my point here is that this place is large on character and local history and short on such items as anything healthy to eat… Food is cheap and filling so if that’s what you want you won’t leave disappointed.
