I was in a few weeks ago and cannot believe the new level on NON-SERVICE being offered! I wanted to buy items with my account and could not thanks to the machine being cracked and broken. The woman at the counter suggested I pay with cash, but based on the new«style» of clothing in the store I just wanted to use my credit and leave. It was unusually hard for me to find something in the store now, the new owners clearly not up on currently popular fashion. Today I called to see if the machine was fixed so I could go in and close the account but they did not answer despite it being well within store hours. I just want to get my money(almost 50) and never go back, but now I am stuck trying to go back again and again just to get any kind of service… I don’t know what happened to the last owners, but now it is a mess. Bad clothes, bad service, and no heat or lights when I was in last… Something is messed up here, and I want my cash before I get screwed out of it FORGOOD! I will update if I have any success, but that seems sadly unlikely.

Bad, bad, bad… Crooks… Employees left for non-payment ! I… Along with others are still waiting for clothing that seems to have«disappeared» from the racks, which they say(for months they will keep looking for). Wha??? It’s in the computer as not sold… I’m thinking its in the owners other store!

Don’t expect to get cash out of anything you consign here. They couldn’t cash out $ 30 because they say the day just started and they don’t have the cash. It was 2:00 in the afternoon. And I made a purchase too! Also after stopping 2 or 3 other times and the business wasn’t even open during business hours.

I haven’t tried to collect money from them yet. I have just gone in and used my credit and got some new items. But went in about a month ago and over heard a customer asking about getting her money for things she had sold. She was told she had to email that she wanted to cash in and that checks are only cut at certain times. Customer said she had tried but got no response and wanted her money. The gal told her she had to wait for the owner to cut a check. Woman left pretty unhappy. Today went back and was trying on some clothes before I checked my balance. There was an older woman in a wheel chair by the counter and acting like the«Big Cheese» very loud and trying to engage everyone in conversation. Again another customer came in asking about her money. Said she left phone messages and no one returned her calls. She was told by Big Cheese that their computers were down for the last few days so they couldn’t tell her what was in her account and didn’t know when they would be back up. Customer asked if they would call her when they came back up and was told«NO» You can come back in and check. Customer asked Big Cheese if she was the owner and the response was«sometimes». They were very rude to the customer and unprofessional. I decided to leave because obviously I would not be able to use any of my credit and Big Cheese and her daughter started arguing about how things should be organized. So not a very good impression I am getting. We will see when I go in next week and try to collect actual money from my account.

BEWARE! Plum Chic has owed my account over $ 50 for the last 9 months, I’ve been trying to retrieve it for the last 5 months and keep getting the run around. Literally being lied to that the check will be mailed the next day and other such garbage. I will update this review once I am paid.

I am a plus size lady, always thinking I’ll diet and wear my former size. I don’t like to spend a lot on my clothes. Plum Chic has a good selection of nice clothes at very reasonable prices. I took my daughter there and she found a nice pair of LLBean slacks for $ 7. This store has a good selection of items for all sizes, plus a variety of purses, shoes and jewelry.
