Went into Teavana to return a cast iron tea pot, along with a few things due to my friend not enjoying my gift(sad day…) anywho the receipt that I had went missing and had to receive in store credit instead(not that big of a deal, because Teavana is amazing!). Okay but what I wanted to mention was that although I didn’t receive cash back per say the exceptional customer service received by the manager Gabriel was by far the best I have ever received in my life! I kid you not, he was sensitive, respectful, quick and efficient. Gabriel called corporate to see if he could make an exception for me to receive my cash back, and although I ended up with the in store credit, the fact that he tried was heart warming. Rachel and Dylan were the other attendants working at the time and we’re just as caring. My hats off to you guys, you make an exceptional team, I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending my friends to buy from them! Thanks guys you rock! 12/21/2015

I’ve only recently become hooked on Teavana teas. Granted, I haven’t yet purchased their loose teas. But I always get a cup of hot, brewed tea whenever I pass a store. And it’s always divine. And the tea«bag» they fill and use is so big, I usually can re-use the tea bag 3 or 4 more times(the tea bag is as big as a small sachet). My kid and I recently visited this store about an hour before closing. There was no one really around. The girl behind the counter was a DOLL! Sooo nice, so friendly, so knowledgeable about teas. Not pushy at all. In fact, we asked to get some brewed tea and there was no mention of us buying anything else(which I appreciated!). She opened up some big canisters of tea behind the counter, and discussed the different varieties. OMG, some smelled so so wonderful, I’d love to scent my home with them. We spent a lot of time in this store, just chatting with this lovely gal. She is such an asset to this store. When we are next in Bellingham, we decided to definitely return to this store. Oh, and we really liked how you can use your Starbucks card to pay for purchases here, and any cup of tea purchased gets you a reward star on your Starbucks account. Cool!

solid 3.5 stars, Jared sure knows his stuff about teas: I’m just a white or green tea kinda guy. Sampled the Youthberry(need every bit to turn back the clock) and probably wished it didn’t come with the extra rock sugar. This flavour food for antioxidants. Liked their steeping cup combo, glass $ 40, double tje acrylic. Yes, BPA free but no, cup is extra. He must have stock options, they are owned by Starbucks.

If you want tea in Bham go here or wonderlands. Reese is my favorite, everyone else is super awesome too. I love the seasonals. Starbucks’ selection is ‘ight but I’d rather go to Teavana, they’ll make you tea by the cup iced or hot. Hashtag love themmmmm.

I don’t come here to buy loose tea simply ’cause I don’t want to raise suspicion when I cross the border, however, their to go teas made on the spot are decent.

Absolutely loved this! Wasn’t expecting to find a Teavana store in the mall. I’d never been before, and it was an amazing experience. The staff was very kind and welcoming to my friends and I, made excellent suggestions, and answered all of our questions about the wide varieties of tea and their brewing methods. They even sent us away with some delicious samples! I only wish that I could chime in more often(I’m visiting from out of town). 10⁄10 would recommend!

It is very possible to accidentally spend $ 50 on tea. Mind you, the tea was amazing, but you have to make it REALLYCLEAR that you are not there to buy tea at the moment. The employees, while very nice and knowledgeable, are really pushy. Yes, I fell for their tricks and spent a fortune on tea, but maybe it was worth it?

I happened to be cruising through the mall and was drawn into this establishment by some beautiful cast iron tea pots and the opportunity to taste some fabulous loose leaf tea. The sales clerk lured me into her store sampling different varieties of tea blends like orange blossom and youthberry, showing me the intricately designed, cast iron tea sets made in Japan and engaging me in conversation by sharing stories of tea tradition. I was suckered into buying two containers of loose leaf tea which cost me about $ 70. Yep, you read that correctly. I’m scratching my head too wondering how I could have spent so much on seemingly so little. Once you visit the store, and find yourself at the cash register with a smattering of tea tools and ingredients, it won’t dawn on you just how expensive it is until you are signing the credit card receipt for the charge. This store offers gorgeous, high quality products, and you can even get a cup of tea brewed to go, but hold on to your wallet or you could incur some financial damage to your savings from an innocent visit to this store.

The tea I bought here was good, but the one I sampled was actually two teas put together, and buying them, you had to buy each one separately, at the 2oz minimum… so 4oz of tea. Expensive. :( Too many employees in there today. I was asked three times in 5 minutes if I needed any help, each time saying I was just browsing. Any time I lingered more than a few seconds at anything it was«can I get you a sample?“or «can I answer any questions?»… I’m capable of serving myself a sample of your over-sugared tea, thank you, and I said before I was just browsing. The woman who checked me out was a little snippy about me not wanting to buy one of their tins either. A mason jar or plastic baggie works just fine, last I checked. I’ll be taking my business to Wonderland Teas on Railroad next time. It’s cheaper, better, and I appreciate supporting a local business much more.

I was excited to learn that a new tea shop was coming into the mall, especially since the old one went out of business(Teaquent). There was a guy offering free samples of tea, so I obliged and got some. I really liked the Youthberry. But something that stood out at that very moment, was the tea was very sweet. And unlike Teavana, Teaquent had samples that were self-serve. I liked that because it wasn’t in-your-face free samples. Teavana is. Since it’s a new shop and I had extra cash on me, I decided to help support them and bought two iced teas of the Youthberry and a 2 ounces packet of the loose leaf Youthberry. Every chance they got, they tried to make me spend more money. I specifically asked for two different PACKETS of 2 ounce tea, and that was extremely expensive enough. They decided to put it in a 7 $ container, trying to get more money out of me. I asked for a packet, and the girl nodded but said it didn’t matter.(The girl was a brunette, short hair, with multicolored bangs; I think it was blue and pink, semi-overweight) She then tried to sell me two different types of tea, when I only asked for the Youthberry. She was trying to sell me orange tea, which I never even said anything about. When my total came up it was $ 43.00. I asked why it was so expensive. She said it was because I wanted two different teas. I said no, I only asked for the Youthberry. I know it was hectic inside since it’s such a small shop and there are way too many employees everywhere, and I could understand if she was frantic or nervous since it just opened, but forcing a customer to spend more is just immoral and annoying. Then I told her that I never said anything about the orange tea, and she took it off the bill. The total then came up to $ 36.00. It’s 12 $ for 2 ounces of non-organic tea, where it’s only $ 1.75 for organic loose leaf tea at Creativitea for 12 ounces, and two cups of iced tea is apparently 12 $ each. Not only is this store overpriced, they will take your money any which way they can without telling you. The cashier also told me how to put a ton of sugar in the tea samples(uh, hello? You’re supposed to sell a product the way it is, not change it) and they also sold little tea spoons covered in «honey». The cashiers, plural, directly told me it was just honey. While waiting for my iced tea I looked at the ingredients out of boredom and saw it had corn syrup, sugar, honey, and other crap. The service is terrible, the quality horrible, the store small, overpopulated, overpriced, and the store literally tries to steal your money. You know that age-old saying, «The customer is always right»? While that line is usually so not true, and I’d know because I’ve worked in both retail and service, it definitely is in this store and situation. DONOTWASTEYOURMONEY. This store is a rip-off. If you like tea, save your money and get organic by heading to Creativitea in Fairhaven(a couple of blocks from the Fairhaven Haggen’s). Oh, and after I got my receipt, I saw they charged me for the 7 $ container, instead of «tax». I sincerely doubt 7 $ is tax of that purchase. This store is a rip-off. Save yourself the trouble, and save your friends and family the trouble by avoiding this store all together.
