Todd Black’s Unlimited Service

I called from Haines, AK to set up an appt with Todd, as I was arriving with my car on the ferry. Todd took a drive with me in the car then did some awesome investigative work and found a problem that mechanics haven’t addressed in two years. The part needed wasn’t anywhere in the Seattle region, but he found it in Spokane. I was traveling east through Spokane, so he arranged to have the part held for me an made an appt for me at the dealer. Then he made a «bandaid» for the broken part so I could make the drive safely. What an awesome mechanic and personally, a really nice man. If I relocate to Bellingham, Todd will definitely be my «go to mechanic».

Thanksgiving weekend we had a breakdown in Bellingham and found this shop. They were fantastic. Checked out the issue right away and found it to be fixable quickly which they did. We were on the road again and found some new friends in the process. They were fast, trustworthy and honest. Couldn’t have asked for more!

I used to take my cars exclusively to John Morgan’s Service, then he sold his business to Todd Black. I was concerned that the flawless customer service and care that I got from John Morgan’s was going to go down but it didn’t.
Unlimited Service takes care of your car like it was their own investment. They keep the records, they watch for trends, they monitor problems, they pay attention and let you know about the state of your car so that you can make the right decisions about it. I have never gotten the feeling that I was being scammed or forced into an unnecessary repair or part. They will tell you if a repair is something that’s important to fix now or could wait for a few months or whatever.
I might be able to save a few bucks by getting my old changed at a jiffylube or some discount place like that, but then I would miss out on the piece of mind that the honest, forthcoming experts at Todd Black’s Unlimited Service give me. That’s totally worth it to me.
One more thing… the service writers here (one of whom is a woman) know their stuff and put you at ease, so if you’ve ever been intimidated or put-​off by a mechanic, this is the place to go to get that taste out of your mouth.
