If you want great authentic Mexican food this is DEFINITELY the place! Their prices are pretty good too. Just a warning though, this isn’t Taco Bell, it is SPICY yet SO good! Lol

This small family-run Mexican restaurant is the real deal. Menu items and descriptions are listed in Spanish first, with English translations below. Numerous refrescos and other Mexican beverages are available. Two televisions play Spanish programming as you enough your meal. The atmosphere is that of a takeout place that has tables. While they do have eat-in service with waiter/waitress, it seems that a lot of their business is for takeout. The restaurant is clean and spacious but very laid-back. Think of a pizzeria seating area– great space to eat, maybe not the most romantic(if that’s your thing). I ordered enchiladas with beans instead of meat. They were so good and the portion was huge– I could only eat half of the plate. The beans were rolled in homemade corn tortillas and covered with red sauce, lettuce, and queso fresco. My sister graciously allowed me to try a bite of her carnitas burrito. The carnitas were so tender and flavorful, and the burrito was huge. I will definitely be back here the next time that I am in the mood for some delicious, reasonably-priced, authentic Mexican fare!

The best authentic Mexican food around. I lived in Cali for 5 years and have not had good authentic style Mexican food since I moved back. Me and my wife went there the other night and got some tacos. The tacos and burritos are awesome. Forget chipotle. This is the real deal and u won’t get sick from the food. Lol. I definitely will be back there when we have the craving.

Where do I start… After placing an order over the phone, I arrived and they did not have my order in the system. I then placed an order at the counter only to find 2 cold hot dogs, yes hot dogs on a torta, with a stale bun.

I’ll admit, i don’t frequent enough mexican spots in south jersey, but after reading Sophia I’s review I had to bookmark this spot and taste for myself. I’m usually a south philly mexican foodie only(trucks and brick and mortars). I came a few weeks ago on a late sunday afternoon. The place wasn’t too busy with only about 2 – 3 other tables. The place is really spacious, but the tables are spaced in a manner where you’ll still be far away from diners. The menu includes your typical/traditional mexican dishes. Don’t think tex-mex, think mexican. I saw they had Al Pastor tacos so i had to order two of them. A steal at $ 2.50 a piece. I ordered the Agave Especial — basically a big platter of various meats and sides. I was super hungry so the chips and dip that come with dining in was a lifesaver. They were pretty good. The chips were room temp/cool but didn’t detract from the overall flavors – really good! I had to hold myself back so i wouldn’t get full since i ordered a lot of food for myself. The two tacos came, and they were HUGE… compared to the mexican spots in philly – about double the size! These were pretty good. Not the greatest i’ve had, but still really good. The sauces that come with chips are also delicious. The platter came out and whoa… overwhelmed by the quantity! All the meats were good, chicken, steak, shrimp. I think it was chalupas that came with it were also good. The rice and beans were a bit of a let down. I prefer refried beans, the platter served whole beans. Not a deal breaker, but it didn’t have much flavor. Everything else was really good. My friend had the steak fajitas. It looked good and nice portion. Not sure if he liked it because i’m not sure he likes mexican food. I also craved al pastor on another lazy sunday and called for a pick up order. Again, the serving was HUGE. so much so i couldn’t finish 3. I consider this my new go to spot for mexican.

INCREDIBLE. Cheap, huge portions, authentic mexican food. As much as I would love a margarita with this food, it blows away any chain/larger mexican restaurant around. They know what they’re doing. Never busy, and I always leave there full and satisfied. I don’t live close, but I make the drive. Worth it!

Tasty, authentic Mexican food close by and that also delivers? Yes, please! The place itself is not much to look at, but the food is plenteous and yummy. The server didn’t speak great English(which is fine, just made things more interesting,) but she was super nice and helpful. We’ll be back again.

Awesome authentic Mexican food! Chicken fajitas with warm corn tortillas and their chips and salsa were amazingly good! My girls who normally only eat chipotle liked it too!

Authentic and delicious Mexican delivery?!? Almost too good to be true. Great prices, online ordering and super friendly service every time. Amazing pastor tacos off the spit, yummy flan when they have it, weekend barbacoa specials & real deal salsa make this place tops in my SJ roster. Don’t miss the steak tostadas for $ 3.25 either. Unbelievably crave worthy.

I was really excited for this place — Mexican food? Online ordering? Delivery? Fantastic. I expected this place to become a new staple. Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered chicken enchiladas. The chicken was so dry it tasted like straw. There was an inch-deep puddle of greasy liquid in my container and everything was sopping wet. There was no seasoning — everything was bland and soggy. I couldn’t finish it. The one upside I can think of is that the delivery was pretty fast — less than 30 minutes. If they bump up the food quality I’d consider giving them another chance.

Incredible authentic Mexican food. I had the Cinco de Mayo and could not eat half of it. Not much on ambience but long on flavor. The real deal.

I got an urge to have Mexican food for lunch and decided to give Agave a try. I’ve driven by a number of times and never thought to stop and go in. The food was delicious and we will definitely be making regular stops to try more menu items. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and even made special arrangements for a vegetarian burrito for me. If your are in the area and want some great food and excellent service, be sure to try Agave.

There is nothing better then discovering an awesome restaurant. I recently visited Agave Mexican Food & Pizzeria and was blown away. The combination of Mexican and Italian was enough for me to give this place a shot. I ordered the steak enchiladas with Verde sauce, green sauce. The meat was very tender and well seasoned and the Verde sauce was made in house. You can tell that the chef took time creating my dish and that makes a difference. The restaurant itself can accommodate large groups and is also appropriate for a quite dinner for two. There are two separate menus; one for Mexican and one for Italian. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The menu featured many authentic Mexican dishes and provided several pictures as well. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a chance as it is a hidden gem in the middle of Bellmawr.
