This place is a mandatory stop when travelling between Virginia and Philly/​NYC. It’s right up there with the cheesesteaks, hoagies and 9th Street as far as Philly is concerned. So far, it’s the only place where I can get a case of Sam Adams Imperial Stout. Let me tell you, get it ice cold, mow your lawn, and then pop the top on that sucker. Makes life worth it.
Good folks in here too. my case was short one 4-​pack and they let em add a 4-​pk of Imperial White to make up the quantity. Another delectable brew you should experience after a hard day’s work. Life’s good, and Joe Canal’s makes it funner ;)
