Marge Anthony’s Pizza Kitchen

Okay, so I went in today for my regular weekly stop. 2 slices, 3 garlic knots and a drink. As my pizza was heating up, I noticed a new sign on the register that said $ 10 minimum. I am thinking, oh no, I only have my credit card. I was hoping my order would exceed the $ 10. So the owner rings me up and my total is $ 8.50. I apologetically tell him I didn’t see the new sign until just now, and I don’t have any cash. He said he can no longer take the cards for less than $ 10. I then told him, I have no cash again, so I guess I will have to cancel my order. He said, okay. Now I get that small business has to set a minimum because of the fees, but this was a new sign. I was a weekly customer, in addition, I ordered pies for my family at least twice a month. You couldn’t waive it for me this once and tell me moving forward you cannot do it? I was $ 1.50 off the minimum. I have to say, going forward I would have made sure to have cash, or would have ordered an extra slice to make the minimum for my card, happily. Now, I sadly will never return. I just don’t understand why you would be willing to lose a regular customer forever, for this. I have to say, I live 3 houses away from a pizza place. I gave up the convenience of just walking up the street to a very nice place to get my pizza in lieu of this new place. Guess I won’t have to drive for pizza anymore…

Updating my review because I just had their Italian ices. I don’t see the man behind the counter who is rude, rather a man who is quite cheerful and kind! Love the new atmosphere. Also, their new Italian ices are so delicious i’d go here
over Ralphs to save me the walk. The Tropical Rainbow was so delicious and I’ve never seen Ralphs have that flavor, they might but I’ve never heard of it.

After reading great Unilocal reviews I decided to give this new spot a try. The last pizza place in there was awful, so I was skeptical. We ordered the upside down Sicilian. My family use to get Alberts pizza which was the same kind of pizza. As soon as we picked it up I was like this smells awesome. Took the first bite and it sure was awesome. My father, my fiancé and I all agreed this pizza was really good. My dads a hard one to please when it comes to pizza but I have a feeling we’ll be back again soon!

We love to give every new pizzeria that delivers a try, it’s been nearly 20 years since we found 1 good enough to call twice. We’re very excited by not only the speedy delivery & reasonable family special deal, but the food was piping hot & the pizza was NYC worthy, the chicken parm was tender not chewy & the garlic knots were perfectly doughy inside, crispy outside. We were too hungry to take before pics, but there will DEF be more orders from Marge Anthony’s Pizza Kitchen.

New place in Bellmore. I go there at least once a week. They are a normal pizza place with the usual food. Their pizza is good. I have also tried a few of their heros and pasta dishes and all have tasted good. They have free delivery to Bellmore and use that often. They have always come on time. They also have about 8 tables to sit down and eat. Inside is very clean and inviting. The only issue is there is limited street parking.

The pizza here is incredible the sauce is delicious and so many varieties to choose from, the new owner i think his name is Brendan is always coming up with new and interesting dishes to serve. My personal favorite is the linguine with grilled chicken with mushrooms in marinara sauce just incredible. All in all my experience has been that this place never disappoints and is my go to spot for all things italian.

cheese pie is pretty good. The Kung pao calamari was amazing! Rice ball was bland and not enough meat filling. Pretty good overall and will be back!

I stopped by before work today to get some Kung Pao wings and Rigatoni Bolognese. The wings were super duper saucy and not really spicy but were ok. The Bolognese was the star of the show. I really enjoyed it alot. I shared it with my boss and we both were very happy fat babies tonight. It was ready when i got there and very reasonable price. I meant to take a photo but i was too damn hungry. So there is that,

FINALLY!!! Decent pizza in North Bellmore! I grew up in the city so I am not amused by most of the pizza in this area. The pizza was delicious, right amount of cheese and sauce, nice thin crust, I even folded it! Woo hoo!
We also got the walnut cranberry Gorgonzola salad. It was not good. It needs more exotic greens, less better-​quality gorgonzola and a plastic container instead of a metal one. Oh, and a raspberry vinaigrette, which is what is usually served with this type of salad.
Haven’t tried anything else, but the pizza is outstanding! Definitely try it.
BTW, any review before about December of 2015 is for the previous establishment, not Marge Anthony’s.

Since changing hands to Marge Anthony’s, the food has gotten MUCH better. A+ cookies, A+ grandma slice, you name it. But their main clientele are high schoolers, yet there is a certain counter man who feels it is alright to stare, be rude, and act as if they are robbing the place. Overall, the food is great. Just hope they get rid of the rude service man.

I eaten here a few times since it has become Marge Anthony’s and all I can say is what an improvement. My calzone was made to order, that impressed me. Also, they make a meat lovers deep dish pizza that is wonderful, I can’t say enough about how I enjoyed it. I love this place a lot and think it’s the best pizza east of the city!

Decided to try Pepes pizza tonight. After reading bad reviews about the staff being rude and the food subpar I decided to be my own judge. Upon walking in the guy cooking the pizza greeted me with a smile. I ordered a pie and he promptly started to make it. Then the owner came out and her and I talked for a while. They were both extremely friendly. Got home and we ate the pizza and it was really good. I’m biased living a few doors from Super and love their pie I definitely found an alternative. Go give them a try.

Pizzas great, kitchen food is great, service was incredible! So friendly and helpful! Been ordering Pepe’s for about 2 months now. Deliveries sometimes come in ten minutes, sometimes a little longer (on busy pizza nights) but never excessively long. Bonnie, the wonderful woman that runs the joint, is a sweetheart. Couldn’t ask for a better local pizzeria! Definitely the best around!

Another fantastic meal! Came with 9 friends and we all left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. Appetizers were calamari fra Diablo, rice ball and eggplant rollatini. Dinners were lasagna, seafood risotto and several others. We loved it.

Horrible attention. The girl is always on her phone and I’m standing like «Hello?» She just sitting there just poking away at her phone. Where is the manager to control their employees? I’m a regular customer and this only happens with the girl with glasses. With the other girl, she so dedicated, always helping the customers. That’s why I try to come the days the nice girl is there.

WORST SERVICE! I went in to order pizza on a couple of occasions, and each time the staff gives out the worst attitude. The latest incident– I was picking up a pie and they rang me up before it was ready. I waited over 15 minutes, mind you it was already over 20 minutes when I called in the order… the pizza finally came out of the oven and they placed it on top of the oven without telling me it’s ready. I finally approached them and asked when my order will be ready? They looked at me with a dumbfounded face and said, «What pizza?» I finally got the pizza without any apologies but was handed plenty of attitudes.
The food is nothing to brag about, in fact, the taste is somewhat bland. They have to shape up if they want to stay open. Bellmore is filled with decent pizzerias so I will definitely take my business elsewhere!
