My friend worked here for a little bit, and she said her boss would make them change the expiration date stickers on the vegetables to make them appear to be fresher than they actually were, in case the inspector came by… So they could serve food that Subway corporate folks would have normally deemed too old to serve. She is a pretty trustworthy and straightforward person and I do not doubt the validity of her claim. But. heeeeyyyyyyy… I haven’t gotten sick yet… and, I mean… Subway!!! Sandwiches – when I’m feelin kinda healthy(or something)!!! And, friend-testimony aside, they do have an outward appearance of being fairly clean and organized. Soooo, a second star gained from me… *** You knoooowwww… just a note to manager-types: Do NOT do this kind of stuff, because word gets around, and here it is now on the Internet… I hope my friend’s former boss sees this :)

A clean Subway relatively close to the highway. We stopped in around 1:30 on a Friday and it was quiet– a couple patrons were eating at the tables. There was one sandwich artist behind the counter, which makes sense because of where this Subway was located. She wasn’t overwhelmed with a group of 5 hungry guys and handled making our orders and checking us out like a pro. The bathrooms were clean, the tables were clean, and it was a nice little joint to take a break after driving for some time.
