CubeSmart Self Storage

This place been under new management since 2014 and it’s just plain old unprofessional. A staff of maybe 10 – 12 people only one young man speaks and ask if you need assistance. «We call him Smiley» The women that work there are rude and genuinely unpleasant to speak with. We were told once that our car is dropping to much snow on the floor and that is too much water for her to be drying up. We never missed a payment so why all the rudeness. The restroom went without tissue for weeks. The water is freezing cold. The soap dispensor was broken for weeks. I never complained about anything that didnt involve my bill. We haven’t seen or gotten any notification off the unit increases but our bill has raised twice without notification. I really don’t know how Bellwood, IL. CubeSmart got the best inside storage and customer service of the year award. We never got a courtesy call from any employee in 2 years bout upgrading, downgrading, any leaking issues, nothing. I was lock out my unit today at 9pm the closed time is 10 pm. I called Customer Service about the issue and was told that we can only go in our unit during office hours. I havent been told as of why this decision was made. I pay my bill today in the office at 5pm to avoid cramp like this. I hope it doesnt have anthing to do with us being lock out our car and didnt get in it until 12:39am or so. We our 1^st staff working individuals and put in alot of overtime. CubeSmart have the nerve not to inform us of the change when we was in the office. They dont open until 9:30am-6pm. Since African –Americans took over the majority of management this storage facility is going down. I’m changing my location after 2years because I know with those type of women in charge, roaches and mice will be in my unit. One good thing about this particular CubeSmart is the location area. Bellwood, IL CubeSmart you need to be hold accountable for your actions. You need to do better!

Great people run the place and most of the customers are pretty nice, nice and secure.
