Love this place! If your looking for authentic Mexican food, this should be your go to place! Tacos were amazing and cheese steak fries were so tasty! The owner was super friendly and service was very quick! Can’t wait to hit up Taco Patio again soon!!!

As long as I’ve been living in the suburbs, I’ve never been to Taco Patio. I know, shocking, lol! Like always, I read the reviews before trying a restaurant for the first time. Everybody seem to like the steak tacos, so I decided to try that if nothing else caught my eye first. When I walked in, I grabbed the menu and proceeded to look at it. He IMMEDIATELY asked me could he take my order. Twice. Dang, can I get a moment to look at the menu?! I haven’t been in the door for 10 seconds. I ended up ordering a steak taco like I already planned. I ordered only 1 because I didn’t want to be stuck with something more if I didn’t like it. The price was decent and the taco was a nice size. The order didn’t take long to make. It was good! Plenty of steak and the steak was tender and flavorful. The toppings were just OK. I added guacamole for an extra 45 cents, but I could barely taste it because of the entire head of lettuce they added, smh! They could’ve added more tomatoes and kept the majority of that lettuce! They went totally overboard on the lettuce! It was a little on the greasy side, but I guess that’s expected from a taco. 4 stars because of the head of lettuce for just 1 taco and the tinge of greasiness. I’ll give them another try!

I’ve eaten here maybe 3 times. All which were bought for me. My sister loves this place and she would buy me things from here. I personally don’t like the food. I’ve had steak and chicken tacos and nachos and I didn’t like it. I wouldn’t buy anything here. The service is quick, though.

One of my favorite places to eat in the city, but only for select food items; super tacos, burritos, cheese and steak fries. Had their nachos once but I didnt like them. Prices are reasonable, and service is pretty quick.

Move addictive Mexican Food Ever; Literally a person can eat themselves to their stomach burst, This is how good the food is, and I have tried virtually everything on the menu but you cannot beat their absolutely dynamite enchiladas dinner. Hard to drive by this place w/​o stopping for at least a taco

First and probably last time. The tacos were average and by far the most expensive around the area. Also no free chips and they don’t even ask if you want anything else.

I’ve been coming here for several years, and I’m a fan.
I feel like Taco Patio operates in that rare space between Taco Bell and somewhere like Taqueria Moran. I really like the dinner deals. The chicken tacos are great, and they don’t douse everything in cheese (but you still get some cheese if you want it). They are also reliably quick. Even if you walk in and there is a long line, they often have you out of there (or sitting down to eat) within 10 mins. Sometimes when you’re just standing in line, the cook in the back will take your order even before you’ve placed it with the guy at the counter, so he can get started.

In conclusion, if you’re jonesing for some Mexican food, and you want something better and more authentic than Taco Bell – but you don’t want to go TOO high end– Taco Patio may be just the right place.

I thought it was pretty good. I went back a few times. I think I can make tacos at home better but for a lazy night when you dont want to cook why not!

The worst steak tacos ever! Nothing but, FAT. eeeewlk!!!

The food is is not the best, but not the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. But, it is the most expensive «fast food» Mexican restaurant I ordered from. It was seasoned well and hot. But I can get better, cheaper

Think it’s a good «fast food» Mexican restaurant. Always had a decent experience when ordering my food. Usually get the steak burrito along with their hot green salsa.

Was highly disappointed in the food. Maybe because i went late but it doesn’t matter because i wont be going back. I guess I shouldve took note cuz nobody was in there ordering food. It was only 11pm. The guy taking my order was talking to the cook in spanish and he said some foul things about me. He didn’t know i understood spanish and the cook didn’t made it more obvious by looking at me when the guy kept talking. My tacos were terrible. Worst tacos i’ve had in a long long time. I won’t be going back, like ever.

Being from AZ I look for good Mexican food this is it gets in the burbs. The people are really nice and the tacos and tacos salads are awesome.

This place was okay. We got take out and my Tamale was pretty awful however thier tacos where very good. The meat in my husband’s burrito was VERY fatty. He had to remove multiple pieces from his mouth. The Horchata is AMAZING… almost worth going there again, or just going for Horchata. Food 2 stars horchata 5 stars, service 5 stars average 3 stars.

The people are nice! The cheese & steak fries are thee best & they finally take debit cards! What more can you ask for?!?
But seriously, don’t try the beef tacos, it’s some sort of mystery meet that I haven’t figured out just yet.
You can’t go wrong with their steak & chicken tacos, quesadillas, tortas, enchiladas… the list goes on & on.
If you’re ever in the neighborhood… stop by!

I grew up only a few blocks from this restaurant, so this was THE place to go for Mexican food. Of course, now that I am able to go a further distance with my car rather than my bike, I’ve explored other Mexican restaurants. However, my love for Taco Patio remains. They’ve always been the place to go for some good, cheap food anytime. I definitely recommend the tacos and enchiladas as my favorites, but I’ve never had one bad thing yet.
There is limited seating and the setting is super casual. They’re open pretty late as well. So if you’re in the neighborhood, I’d say give it a try!
