If you are looking to order the chicken chopped salad– go to a different subway. The salad I got was hardly chopped, barely any lettuce, about a pound of onions, and the chicken he put on it was hot so by the time I got back to work my spinach was all wilty and weird… I usually love these salads but today was a major disappointment :(not to mention they didn’t offer me croutons(I didn’t want them anyways, so not such a big deal) the only reason I give it 2 stars is because I’ve been there once before for a sandwich and it’s wasn’t so bad

I come here in the mornings for my bfast sandwiches an this guy has given me such great service I am gonna give this place all stars. I believe the guys name is john that has been helping me. He just seems like a real guy that I can relate an vibe with. he always gives me the greatest customer service with some of the greatest convo an pleasant personality. He makes the coffee perfect. He put some magic into that coffee an he has some great suggestions for different things an sauces to put on my sandwich. Yo the cookies are really good too. Its true that the service makes someone wanna come back to a place, I came here because its close by but then again, hell its subway there’s a lot of them close by. They’ve made a good point of that. I think this guys customer service is what makes me keep coming back. I’ve felt welcome here an it made me come back again and again. Give this guy a raise ha ha

Constantly closes early. Sometimes I had over to this Subway after flying into town. I walked up to the door 40 minutes before the posted closing time and the door was locked. The employee let me in and I noticed everything was packed up for the night. On my next trip, the same thing. Closed early and the lights were out.

I love subway! This one is great, it’s walking distance from my work. Griffin H. is getting an A+ on customer service! Very social, outgoing, definitely a people person, greets people as soon as they walk in. Makes sure you leave satisfied. The sandwiches he makes actually look appetizing. Only downfall of the employees that I’ve dealt with is Jose. He is very quite, doesn’t talk to anyone, doesn’t greet anyone. Anyways, this subway is awesome.

I’ve been to this Subway a few times because it’s close to where I work. Each time I go however, there appears to be a prevalent theme: 1) Manager seems to be cheap: –Cold-cuts meats look pale and dated. Don’t think he throws them away when he should. Which probably explains the reason why I’ve got a minty taste after eating that Italian BMT today. –Stingy on the toppings. The lettuce bucket could be nearly empty. Rather than be proactive and get a new batch of lettuce, he will start to ration what’s left of the lettuce, and find ways to stretch it! Come on! I love a nice handful of lettuce on my sandwich, not a finger full! 2) Manager does not enjoy his job: In the past, I’ve seen him call out employees in front of customers, which I find very unprofessional. Also, seems to be very negative, which could have a negative impact on employees. It’s probably the reason why every time I go to this location, there’s always a new line worker. After today’s visit, and after eating my Italian BMT, and questioning whether I bit into salami or liver spread, I am convinced that I will never go to this location again!

I usually get my sandwiches from this subway before i head to work. Today was horrible service. This dude that is 4’9 was helping me. Talked so low i couldn’t hear him. I tried to make him speak up but he still didn’t. He put a half of pinch of lettuce on my sandwich. I had to ask for more. Then when i said«I want every topping but onions and tomatoes. He put more lettuce and then asked what topping do i want after i already said it. Then as he wrapped my sandwich he didn’t wrap it in the white paper then subway paper. He only wrapped it in the subway paper. Damn i guess they hire any idiot. Hopefully next time i go i will enjoy my experience. He also did not have a name tag and his uniform looked as if he rolled outta bed and went straight to work. SMH

This is smaller Subway. Very small parking lot, but plenty of street parking. I’ve been here twice in the last 2 weeks. The customer service is great. Made a great sandwich both times. Exactly the way I wanted; not too heavy with the sauce. My only complaint is how small it is. There is only one table inside, so if it’s taken, you have to sit outside and it’s starting to get colder… Otherwise, it’s way less busy than other Subways and I would recommend it for sure!

I find this Subway to be better than most: the employees are nice; when I ask for extra lettuce, they don’t balk; the food is fresh and the service is pretty fast. My daughter really likes their Chicken Noodle Soup.

Now I do love Subway sandwiches, specifically BLT’s and have my favorite locations that make the best sandwiches so far, but I figured, lets try a new location for once. HUGEMISTAKE, I had the worst experience ever at this location. I came here today for a BLT, instead I got a rock sandwich! I could have sworn the bread was made from stone, lol. Best guess, it was 10 days old bread! Also, the vegetables weren’t that crunchy, implying that they weren’t that fresh, and bacon was over cooked. Plus to top it off the service stinks, the representative seemed annoyed making the sandwich(even though its easy and I didnt request anything special) and couldn’t wait to get back on the phone. I promise to never return to this location and will make sure to tell everyone I know to stay away.

I love this subway. I started coming to this one because the one nearest to my house sucks and I stopped going there. But this one is great. I mean it’s a subway, not fine dining, so I just judge it on what I need from a subway. Ingredients are generous, the bread is always fresh and tastes good, the staff is always polite(sometimes even chipper!), the place is clean, and every sandwich I’ve ever gotten here has been delicious and satisfying. I’ve gone in a few times right before closing, and I always get good service. Who cares if the parking lot is tight? There’s a ton of parking on the street right in front, so why bother going into the lot?

This is a typical Subway, good sandwiches at a fair price. I often pick up sandwiches on my way home for my wife and I. I rate Subways on the ability of the sandwich makers to do two sandwiches. All too often things get confused. This shop has never given me problems. One downside is that this shop is tiny. If more than a few people are in line you will be waiting outside. Not fun if it is a typical cold windy Belmont evening. I wrote this review because this restaurant popped up when I was looking for a nice place to take my mother for her birthday! Somehow the price range was set to $$$$ instead of $. Hopefully that gets fixed since I usually get 2 sandwiches for $ 10 here. Update: my post seems to have fixed it!

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have better reviews. I’ve been buying sandwiches from this location for about 10 years now(even through different management) and really don’t have anything negative to say. The staff has always been friendly and the space is clean. In comparison to the other nearby Subways, their bread is always fresh and soft — not hard and flakey. I typically order the BMT, Meatball Sub, or Tuna. Their chocolate chip cookies are my favorite!

I haven’t been here. So I’ll try and keep the rating the same. I’m wondering why this place is this listed as $$$$?

I happen to love SUBWAY. It;s a good way to not get fat. I had a shady situation go down though today, and I think the peninsula should know about it. In fact, I plan to never eat at this particular location, because of the bs I was dealt. A guy can tend to get bored eating here often with the $ 5 footlong promo. A guy needs some options… when I feel like adventure, I go to the sweet onion teriyaki sandwich. So i ordered one today, and noticed the guy put 2.7 ounces of chicken on the sandwich. I understand that these chicken cubes are of higher caliber than the processed thing they call chicken breasts, but I called the dude out. «Have you always put that little of chicken in the sandwich» I asked him. He said«Don’t blame me, blame the owner of this franchise. We put less chicken because of the $ 5 sale. « Really? So when I buy a sandwich that is half-off, should I just get half the sandwich? This mentality is not cool. Owner of Subway Belmont, I will never frequent your establishment again. I will tell as many people I can(or as many people that read this Unilocal review) about the fast ones you pull on people. I have disowned you, and hope you get bought out by Arby’s/ I almost forgot, I didn’t even buy the frickin sandwich. «Sorry, but this isn’t going to work«I told him. I went to the San Carlos location instead. I had a chicken breast sandwich. It was delicious.

Due to all the massive $ 5 footlong sandwich advertisements I see all around town, I was tempted to give Subway a try… since I haven’t had them in a long time. According to fellow Unilocalers, it didn’t prove promising. I plugged in Subway into my portable nav and ended up here. As I pulled into the parking lot, or what tries to be a parking lot, I see two spots… one that has a faded handicap signage(no thanks), or the second spot that would barely fit the new Smart for Two… My compact 4 door wagon hatchback wouldn’t fit too well… I was tempted to try the Meatball and Tuna sandwich, so I inquired if I could do half and half to make a footlong for $ 5. The sandwich artist looked at the manager, who looked at me sternly and said«NO!» The sandwich lady took my order using her voice at a volume«1»,…I could barely hear all her questions: — What type of bread? — What type of cheese? — What type of toppings? — Baked? — Visa? *sigh* I took the sandwich back to the office… NASTY! I’ve been spoiled by my local sandwich shops… try Erik’s Deli Café off Whipple, or Speciality’s in Redwood Shores… — 1 star for poor parking — 1 star for poor service — 1 star for poor sandwich …won’t be back

What can you say about this place? Not much. I don’t now how I have ever been here, but I have many times. The sandwiches suck. Go to a real deli, or make it yourself. They can’t even cut the bread right. How hard is it to cut bread? I don’t know, but it can’t be that hard. When I USED to go there, I used to question if the tuna was a bit passed their standard, but I never had any problems with it. For some reason this placed is packed for subway, and it is so cramped I don’t think the new and improved Jared could maneuver the inside of the restaurant.

I happen to like Subway. The tuna sandwiches are the only thing I get, but they’re yummy and the bread is fresh. They tend to skimp on the toppings a lot(i only get two) so I ask for extra and still will often add more after I get home, but I think that’s just me. Oh, and I also dislike the whole Jared thing.

I’ve selected this particular Subway just as a token. I hate the whole chain. I think their nasty little subs are awful. I don’t like Jared or his messianical zeal to convince you that eating lunchmeat sandwiches every day will change your life. Eating really good mortadella in Italy might, but eating that factory fresh baloney in Subway? I doubt it.
