Bobo’s BBQ

Great food! Bad BoBo’s sandwich was the Bomb! Potato salad was on point. Combo Plate was delicious! I was looking for a restaurant, but food trucks rule!!!
I will try the Ribs tomorrow! To be continued…
I just finished eating the Ribs and Sausage… FANTASTIC!!!

Wonderful, tasty food. My wife and I had the pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, and potato salad. Clearly the best barbecue in the area. Extraordinarily generous portions. Most barbecue restaurants offer amazingly skimpy servings. This restaurant gave us Texas size servings of the most delicious barbecue I have had in this area. A little hard to find. Now if we can only convince him to put in a bricks and mortar restaurant, everybody else in town might as well close up shop. My wife wants to go back tomorrow and try another entrée! Clearly, an exceptional and rare find. Try it, I don’t think you’ll go anywhere else.

I just stopped by and purchased the Pulled Pork Sandwich to take home and eat. The cost was very reasonable. I had it prepared without any sauce and put the sauce on the side. The sandwich was Texas size and enough meat to make myself at least two additional sandwiches. I found the sauce very much to my liking and it was sort of the North Carolina style, vinegar based! All in all, I will definitely be going back for more. Some have said it was hard to find! If you turn off of Sparta Rd onto Commerce, it will be the first street on your right, long drive all the way to the end and it will be on your right. Can’t be missed!

Absolutely excellent. Brisket is cooked to perfection with smoky bark and rendered fat. The owner is super nice and gave us a little extra meat on our order for free! The potato salad is smooth with a hint of mustard and dill. This is an outdoor trailer setup with a few open air picnic tables. Well worth your time and money. We’ll definitely be back!

Awesome BBQ out of a little trailer that is tricky to find. The brisket is moist and flavorful as are the pork ribs and their pulled pork. I have been to over 65 BBQ joints in 7 different states and would put this place in the top 5! Also, the owner is a really nice guy and there to make sure his customers are happy. Last time my wife and I went his comment was that the ribs were a little lean today so he threw in another pound for free. You don’t find many places anymore that actually care to that extent about what they are serving!

Was in the area visiting friends. Opened up my Unilocal app and this was the first place that came up. Having 5 stars, I just had to check it out for myself.
My husband ordered some ribs. Tender! Wow! I had a pulled pork sandwich… delicious. Proportion was insane. Well worth it. The owner was super friendly. So glad we stopped by. I will definitely drive to this location more often, even if it’s 30 mins away from me.

This place is delicious! Being a transplant, I am not super fond of Texas BBQ, but theirs is top notch. The pulled pork is sweet and a bit saucey, and the potato salad has mustard and dill. The portions are huge for great prices. I wish they were open more days of the week, and that it didn’t take quite so long, but so far the wait has been totally worth it.

Hands down, this is the best bbq I’ve ever had in my life. I tried the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork and they were all perfect. Don’t let the fact that it’s a food truck fool you; this place is legit.

Incredibly tasty, barely hanging on meat that melts in your mouth ribs. And very tasty pulled pork! If you like a little spicy kick, get their kicked sauce! This place might just be the #1 BBQ place in Belton! Definitely takes the cake when it comes to BBQ food trailers!

BEST BBQ HANDS DOWN!!! Everyone should come and try Jim’s BBQ! This is the Best BBQ I have ever had! The Pulled Pork Sandwich is the BOMB!!! Also his BBQ Sauce is the best thing… I could drink it like water… It’s a weekly spot for me and my family!!! Can’t wait for the restaurant!!!

I never particularly cared for bbq. It wasn’t stunning or anything, but I’m not a Texan or from anywhere that loves bbq so I also know very little about it. Regardless, one day my husband and I decided to check out Bobo’s because we live pretty close to it and why not. It is the most awesome BBQ EVER. Like I said, I don’t even like bbq, but this tastes great! The bun is awesome and doesn’t automatically fall apart like most places. The meat was delicious and juicy. It has a sweeter taste not that bland needs more salt taste I normally get from bbq. The sides were yummy as well. I can’t believe this guy makes such good things in a little food truck.
My only complaint is that they are randomly closed and their hours are not long enough.

Very friendly and helpful. I had the sausage sandwich, potato salad. That was the best potato salad I’ve ever had. The bun for the sandwich was wonderful. Will be back and will recommend to everyone.

This place is very good and very reasonably priced. The portion size is also very generous and you will not be left hungry. Highly recommend this place, the owner is also very polite and does majority of everything himself.

I hit this place a couple of weeks ago outside the baseball place. It’s a pretty neat setup if you can catch them open. They make a nice sandwich, plenty of meat, good ingredients, some cool fancy bun. The sauce is way too sweet, so go lightly. But it’s not like real Texas barbecue. It has a slight smoke flavor, but not like you’re looking for if you want more than a sandwich. The sausage did nothing for me at all, probably store bought, pre-​cooked and heated up.
This trailer setup is not bad for what it is, but it’s no competition for best local barbecue.

Round 3 — Ribs
So I got two full racks of ribs this afternoon. Great ribs with a great dipping sauce. I was only able to eat a ½ rack, but 5 kids devoured the other 1 ½ racks. Great value for the dollar.

Great BBQ! Can’t wait to come back && try some other items! Definitely a must if in the area well worth the drive!

Bobo’s BBQ is my new favorite in Bell county. My first taste was the brisket platter and I was impressed. The meat was so moist and tender, the smoke ring was just right, and the rub was magic. My next visit I had the pulled pork sandwich and I loved it. The Bobo sauce is great and I made my sandwich messy with it. Toasted bun, onion slices, and Bobo’s tender pulled pork doused in sauce, it don’t get no better than that. One day Bobo’s had a Rib special I couldn’t pass by, oh so glad I didn’t. Bobo’s BBQ isn’t near my house, or on my way home, but that doesn’t matter to me when I want good BBQ. I can’t wait to make an excuse to go get some more.

This BBQ is my FAVORITE in the Central Texas area! So I knew I wanted Bobo’s BBQ to cater my graduation party food! I ordered brisket and pulled pork and they were amazing!!! I don’t like fatty pieces in my brisket or pulled pork, and it was perfect! The flavor of the meat was perfect too! All of my party guests were gushing over how delicious this BBQ was! You really can’t go wrong with this! We also got some cole slaw and made pulled pork tacos (absolutely delicious!), which you can also buy straight from the BBQ trailer. Go to Bobo’s, I promise you will not be disappointed!

The cool looking cooking trailer lured me in and the delicious food will assure my return. Today was pulled pork day and the selection of a huge sandwich piled high with cole slaw proved to be among the best I’ve ever tasted. I poured the sauce offered to the middle of the pile. It made it a bit messy, but absolutely sweet to eat. I suspect this venture will be a big success. I know I’ll back looking for a brisket day.
