Waiting 15m at the bar before being served but not at all the bartender’s fault. She had to handle the bar and the dining room by herself. Food took a long time to come out. To be fair, we were not in a hurry BUT it seems that the management of the restaurant, and the golf course for that matter, seem to be absent.

although i live close by, i’ve only ever eaten here once. it was simply just o.k. nothing worth returning for. judging by the constant help wanted ads, this place seems to go through chefs and waitstaff like i go through coffee.

Terrible. Went here for Thanksgiving. The food was mostly cold, absolutely no spices or flavor in any of the food. Got lost due to GPS taking me on a ride around town with dangerous roads for a half hour. The desserts were terrible. Thought you couldn’t go wrong with Apple pie, it was by far the worst I’ve ever had. Everything tasted days old. The only things that tasted alright we’re the pumpkin bisque soup and cranberry sauce. But the soup only tasted decent after 3 packets of sugar. The soda tasted good too… LOL. in all honesty, aside from the good servers, this place is a joke. I will not be coming back. We went by the reviews on different sites that this place was good… We didn’t experience anything worthwhile at all.

Have been coming here 14 years, not bad place to eat, but then again restaurants up this way are far and few. Lunches and sandwich menus are good, dinner menu needs a serious update, and specials are good, although pricy for the area. Some servers are really good, others don’t even deserve a tip, DONT go when it’s busy, they don’t have enough help. Holiday buffets are decently priced and food is run of the mill items. They also need to have a professional cleaning crew to come in and clean the dining area, at least every two weeks, I’ve seen the same spider family by the window all summer long, and DONT sit next to the bathrooms unless you want to smell urinal«cakes» while eating. Why have I been coming here all these years with these issues? It’s close, sandwich menu is decent and you can order off that any time and the wildlife view in the mountainous course is good. But, for really good dinners, go over to Easton Pa. Just over the river and about. 20 minutes away.

My wife and I have enjoyed eating here for many years. I am especially impressed with the Ballance of menus selection, atmosphere and cost. They have a full menu that will appeal to anyone. If there is one negative it is with the turnover of their serving staff. We really liked their staff of many years and were on a first name basis with most of them. Over the past year all of them left the new staff is OK, but not up to the level of the old staff. Their new manager is very personal and is trying hard to ensure every one is pleased with their dinning experience.

We used to think this place was a decent value for the money but no longer. I did contact them about these issues but never got a response. We wil not go back. One of my family members called to make a reservation for Sunday brunch and was told that the price was $ 9.95 per person, the same price listed on their website. She was also told that if we sat late enough, the members of our party could order either brunch or from the lunch menu. So she purposely made the reservation at 11:30 in order to take advantage of that choice. After we were seated and inquired about our options however, the waiter told us in a fairly rude manner, that the buffet was the only thing available. He seemed quite surprised that we mentioned lunch even though someone on the staff indicated that it would be an option. We should have walked out after learning we were misinformed but given that we had elderly people in our party, and this place is in the middle of nowhere, that wasn’t the best option. We were then informed that an omelet would be our only choice, the waiter made no mention of «eggs your way» or fresh made waffles, both of which are listed on the website as part of the buffet. He also neglected to mention the alcoholic drink included in the brunch. It wasn’t until most people had ordered that someone inquired. Of course, towards the end of our meal we did see people ordering from the lunch menu, which only added insult to the fact that some of us ended up with omelets that we didn’t want. Aside from their confusion about the availability of the lunch menu and the lackluster buffet selections, their website indicates a price of $ 9.95 per person for Sunday brunch and that was confirmed when my sister in law made the reservation. Later that day, I found out that they actually charged our 76 year old parents, who paid the bill, $ 14.95 per person for the breakfast buffet. They were regulars and to see that the information relayed to them was so grossly incorrect is very troubling. In addition, they have a link to a $ 2 coupon for brunch on their website which doesn’t actually work. Bottom line, the dining room is rarely busy and now we know why, they don’t appear to really want your business.

A fiend of my wife suggested we go here for dinner on my birthday. Was a nice pick! Drinks, appetizers and dinner were all great. The server forgot to mention the prime rib special to us though. People next table had it and looked like a Fred Flintstone size piece! Looking forward to going back. Awesome wings, good salads, kids liked the NE clam. All brought food home.

I’ll rate this restaurant at 3.5 stars, due to it is a great value for your $$$ and the food is very good for a golf course type of place. The food is very consistent and always has specials. They have a full bar as well.
