We’ve had a cottage in Bemus for 3 years now and this is the go to breakfast place. It always satisfies — the biscuits and gravy is amazing. Keep in mind it’s Cash Only.

Every time I come home to Bemus for a visit, we have to have breakfast at the Bemus Inn. Love this place — especially when they have the hashbrown casserole! YUM

Been here a few times. Foods always good. Wish they’d start taking credit cards though. Make sure you check the hours because they close early.

Cinnamon role as is described. HUGE. Service great with a constant refill of coffee. Omelette was ok but not great. Definitely will try again.

Wonderful locally owned restaurant(with a diner feel) within a few blocks of the lake, open for breakfast and lunch year-round. Owned by the same family for decades, you are greeted with a huge smile and welcome by the owner. Many of the friendly waitresses have been there for years, but don’t show the ennui which you think would seep in over time — they are incredibly competent, but also incredibly friendly, bringing toys to kids, cooing over babies, handling huge family groups with ease. Food is well prepared, always fresh, beautifully presented — much more than standard diner fare. Go hungry! This really is a five star place as compared to similar diner style restauarants, but I typically reserve 5 stars for high end restaurants.

My favorite breakfast restaurant in the area! Pancakes and waffles are light and delicious. Excellent specials for the more adventurous diners. Friendly, family atmosphere. Extremely busy during the summer… with good reason!

Great breakfast! We loved everything about this quaint restaurant… the food, the service, the décor, the locals. Our waitress was very nice and kept our coffee filled to the brim. The prices are very reasonable for both the quantity and quality of food. My husband and I shared the cinnamon roll… which was enough for 6 people(no joke). The pictures don’t do it justice. It is huge and amazingly delicious! It’s just as good the next day, too! Eggs are fluffy and hash browns have a wonderful seasoning. I could have eaten an entire plate of them! It’s open all year round so even in the off-season, it’s delicious!

This place is legit. Decent prices. Insanely friendly staff. Delicious food. What else could you want? We got the eggs florentine $ 8.25(tasty hollandaise) and a special«hash brown casserole» $ 7.25(think cheese and hashbrowns. mmmm fatty carbs). E bacon they serve is some of the best I’ve had at a diner– thick and amazing. Coffee is bottomless and only $ 1.85. If life ever brings me back to Bemus, I’ll be back!

this place is a must-go in the Chautauqua Lake region. The cinnamon rolls are to die for, and are MASSIVE. literally, I think ten people could easily share one. We’ve gotten omelets and their food is good. Service is always good. It’s a nice blend of locals and visitors. I always make sure to hit this place up if I’m in the area!

An institution of its own, this local hangout embraces the tourists quite well. Their signature cinnamon buns are renowned, one easily serves a couple hungry folks. Daily specials round out the basic diner menu.

Great local spot. The owners are a husband and wife team. Lori runs the front of the house with a smile that never fades. Her husband Dave has completely recreated the menu with everything fresh and made at the restaurant, including the fries, English muffins, etc. And the prices are super reasonable. If you are in the CHQ area, give it a try. The word is getting around, so lines can be long for Saturday and Sunday brunch in the summer season, but never fear, the coffee is free while you wait!

Best breakfast place in Bemus Point. Bold Statement? No — it’s an accurate statement. This place is small town diner breakfast at it’s best. The claim to fame is their homemade cinnamon buns, and they are HUGE! If it’s your first time, I’d recommend trying one, but plan to share. We stopped here on our way back from skiing, and nothing hit the spot better than a warm cinnamon bun and a hot cup of coffee. Heaven!
