If you’re after a working man’s/biker, down-​to-​earth, locals bar — you found it. It is what it is and that works here.

Maybe I was drunk, but I loved the tacos. Great place to hang out and have a few drinks! Friendly people despite what you may perceive! If I eat there again, my review may be better. So far it’s good in my book.

The burgers were phenomenal and I had a seriously sexy bloody mary. You’ll see regulars here and they are quite insane, in the best way. Laughter on the back patio and nothing but fun.

I am a biker. no doubt about that ;) I often ride down HW 9 and passed multiple times in front of Firehouse tavern and always saw a bunch of motorcycles parked in front but never actually stopped… until few days ago, when my French friend came over to visit.
This is a solid biker bar that actually makes great food (even though I only tried the chili and garlic fries).
The atmosphere is fantastic. Old woody bar with thousands of dollar bills pined around, nice terrace, patio and outdoor seating options.
You can relax outside in the back of the restaurant under big umbrellas and enjoy the delicious Mexican food form their kitchen.
Friendly staff and cheap drinks.
Great Live music (classic rock) on Sunday afternoon.
Fun place. a must see and try.

They do a great job with cheeseburgers and fries and they do some good Mexican food to.

The guy I went on the terrible date with is Archie Pruett. Terrible food date and experience.

Was in there about a week ago. the bartender was rude and offensive. She would rather drink the booze than sell it!!!

Didn’t eat here but came for the live music. A lack of seating inside, just high tops and out side was not much better. Worn out chairs and stools. Didn’t stay long because of the seating.

Been having dinner here almost every night. Can’t seem to go wrong with any of the plates. Last night I had the shrimp. Flavorful. Filling. Fantastic. You have to try it.

My friends and I love it so much, it has actually become a thing.
I am really picky when it comes to dining out, so I was super surprised to find the food to be so delicious and fresh when it was suggested for a Sunday outing.
In addition to the carne asada tacos, the tostadas and wedge cut fries are awesome too! I don’t do gluten, but many of my friends rave over the Ducati sandwich.
In fact, between us, we have had just about everything on the menu and it is all great. I would say the best lunch on the mountain when you factor in the prices, which are extremely competitive.
We are frequent visitors, and I have always enjoyed the food and the music, except for one occasion: My birthday!
We went out on Dec 19, 2014 for tacos and beer, of course, and arrived around 7:45.
We were really enjoying ourselves until the band started. It was ridiculously loud. I mean yeah, I am not 18 anymore, but I wasn’ t the only one with the issue.
The entire patio was jammed with people who couldn’t take the racket. My head was pounding. And it sucked because the band would have been really good if they weren’t over compensating. I complained to the bartender who was outside smoking, and she agreed, but she just said that she had asked them several times to turn it down and they refused. I would have pulled their damn cord.
It completely ruined my night and we left without finishing dinner.
So hopefully, that was an isolated incident.
Tip: If you want a mellow, enjoyable time, hit them up on a lazy Sunday afternoon and chill on the patio. Dogs are welcome there, so that is great, but watch out for the flies, which can be annoying.
PS in the bartender’s defense, she did offer me a free drink when I told her it was my birthday. But by that point, I just wanted out of there.
Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Major sh**hole

I went for the first time yesterday. Aces!!! A few of us road up. If you don’t like this place then you don’t get it.

Great little dive bar to stop on a weekend! They have a small patio that is great if you can find a spot on a nice day. Love the live music too. Food is good but typical tavern/​bar food which is ok because that’s not really why we go there.

Love coming here on the weekends. It’s a nice local bar that’s close to home. The food is really good too!

Absolutely fantastic place to stop in for a quick hot sandwich and a beer. It’s a little out of the way for me, but I’d certainly be willing to make the trip back on a Sunday afternoon or some such.
Leave a dollar stapled to the wall or ceiling!

Ok first time writing a review because I felt it was important to share the negative attitude of the chef at the bar food section. I’m very respectful and graceful before I’d ever write a review, but when they serve lousy food and give you an additude when you give them feedback I don’t feel they deserve the respect of getting your business beware. aside from that I love the bar it’s always a good time.

OMG, hahaha, this place is real fun, and down to earth! Went there on a whim about a month ago with a friend, on a night that some punk bands were playing, and man we started our own little mosh pit. I ended up tearing his t-​shirt clear off his back! lmfao! The food is great too, btw. Like, get hammered, a hangover, and food all in one night, one place. lol!

Wow, I guess the majority of people who frequent this place aren’t Unilocalers… I enjoy a beverage here often enough to be able to say that some good changes have been made. It seems like the staff really care about the place that they work… they have some pride! In general, all the girls are great behind the bar, but they also don’t take any sh%t from some of the locals that can get a bit tipsy. They have someone new booking music, so I’m looking forward to some fun nights WITHOUT a cover charge this summer.

DIVE BAR ALERT
Pluses: great music lineup with reasonably priced and often heavy-​handed drinks with pretty good bar service if it’s not hella busy.
Minuses: It’s small, smelly and incredibly run down and charges a cover for most bands. I don’t mind supporting local music, but it’s usually not worth the cover. Plus, while it’s not necessarily Henfling’s fault, the crowd seems to get seedier and waaaaaaaay too drunk as the evening goes on. Fall down slobber drunk… almost all the time there are at least three or five of them. Seems Henflings doesn’t often exercise the right to refuse service to anyone.
Tip: Go early, have a drink or two to catch the first set of the band then beat it outta there. Things can get creepy.
