This company does NOT even deserve 1 star for a review! By far the worst property management company I have ever dealt with. They are completely one sided. They work for their owners only. They only want your money. The home I rented from them was not a HOME. We moved into the home on trade basis with the owner. We did all the work that needed to be done in trade for a break on rent and our security deposit which the owner wanted it to be nonrefundable and we agreed. Which was our bad because we had over $ 6000 out of our own pocket to repair all the damages from the previous tenants. But we wanted to make a comfortable home to welcome our new baby into. We had high hopes I guess! My pregnancy and the first months of my babies life were extremely stressful due to this company and the owner of the home. They constantly harassed us. The company was quick to call us names. And one of the employees was very persistent about walking through the home with no one home! She stated it over and over and over. We were not comfortable with someone we didn’t know entering our home without one of us present. And the law states you can deny access in writing or posted notice on the front door and they have to agree upon a time that works for all parties. I left work twice to meet with this employee to do a walk through the first time I had to rearrange my entire schedule and she didn’t show. The second time she was 20+ mins late when we discussed I only had a 10 min window between appointments and she stated it would only take a minute. She didn’t bother to call either. They claimed I was making their job difficult. How? By making them abide by the Oregon State Laws?! Yes! Other tenants that rent from them stated they would move out if they could find a different home. Luckily for us we had two resources that allowed us to do so. And I have never felt so lucky in my life to exit such a horrible situation! If you want to be troubled, dictated and harassed the entire time you rent from them be my guest. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy! They are very greedy, rude, snotty individuals.

We didn’t end up renting from this company, but I was very impressed with how helpful and nice they were. I have worked with another property management company in town(DPM) and it was very stressful. Thank you Superior Property Management for restoring my faith in renting.

Unfortunately, I do not have good things to say about this company. To shorten things up, they aren’t timely, terrible at communication, and their business ethics are below par. Not doing a walkthrough in a timely manner can result in incrued costs for said tenant. Ie: charging tenants for not mowing 2 weeks after their lease was up. News flash: grass grows. I had the worst experience with them.

We recently rented a home that is managed by A Superior Property Management. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful, knowledgable and organized. There were some minor issues with the move in conditions of the home, and they were rectified immediately.

I hate when I have to write a ‘bad’ review, but I’ve been laminating this for too long! We would have been tenants at a property managed by Superior, but we feel they give no concern to possible tenants when presenting to homeowners… and, sadly, we have PROOF! We’d wanted to rent a very convenient property for about 5mths and offered to pay a premium(higher rent for the opportunity to do so)… we were told the shortest lease term would be 6mths and that this particular property would want a 12mth term. We asked to be presented anyway, that we’d likely be able to do the 6mths months and just eat the last month, and paid our hefty $ 80 application fee(basically they just collect applications and fees at every open house) ‘you cannot rent a home until you’ve gone to that home’s open house.’(that is what we were told multiple times.) A few days later we learned we were not selected, but we’d been next in line. Hmmm… well, OK then :( We tried renting through Superior on other properties, since we already paid that darn fee and were trying to maximize it. We kept being shot down… 6−12mths or more, blah blah… even for properties I had noticed were sitting on their site, unrented, for months!?! It made me feel like they were, in a word, somewhat ‘lazy’… as in, it would be easier for them just to poo-poo anyone to the landlord that wasn’t going for 12mths, so that they wouldn’t have to do any work on the listing for a year. Now… here’s our proof… The home, from the above story, that we wanted is in a neighborhood we will eventually be living, when our home is completed… we drive by our own home/lot practically everyday… Lo & Behold… The house we wanted to Rent for about 5mths now has a FORRENT sign in front of it… after only 3.5mths??? What gives??? I guess our hunch about Superior was correct… they are not all that superior after all.
