I was glad to have picked this spa during my holiday in Bend. I had a wonderful 30-minute facial and my partner had a 60-minute massage. We were told to arrive early to enjoy their relaxation room, which we did. We were offered a beverage, we chose a Moscow Mule! Such a surprising and great inclusion. After mentioning some trouble skin I was having, I was given some product samples to try. After our treatments we were able to take advantage of the steam room, the perfect ending!

This was our first time at Anjou spa and my boyfriend and I absolutely loved it. We went as a treat for my boyfriend and how much he’s been working and it was an amazing experience all around. We showed up about 45 minutes early to steam and sit in the relaxation room. They were so accommodating, asking if we needed anything. Keeping our glasses full and we felt so taken care of. Jenna and Jennifer did our couples massage and it was one of the best massages we’ve ever received. The room was gorgeous(though maybe a tad brighter in there than I’d prefer) but they were both excellent massage therapists. Next I surprised my boyfriend with the Ale-ing foot scrub/soak off their Hoppiness menu. Beer inspired and right up his alley as a beer fanatic. It was his first time having any sort of treatment like this and he nearly fell asleep he was so relax. Taylor did a great job, very professional and she made sure I was comfortable and relaxed even though I wasn’t getting a treatment done. Overall an amazing spa experience. We’re both looking forward to going back ASAP.

I’m a guy and I LOVE this spa. My wife and I recently moved to Bend and we have been twice already. Our first visit was for a couples massage. After weeks of moving out of one house and into another, our muscles were tired and sore. We needed a break. The massage we received was simply amazing! Anjou took such good care of us, made us feel welcome and relaxed. After the massage we received complementary beer and wine(other cocktails were available as well. A week and a half later, we decided we needed pedicures. Guys, trust me here… if you are NOT getting pedicures, you are REALLY missing out! And Anjou really makes this a truly enjoyable experience. You sit back in a very comfy chair while someone rubs and massages your feet and lower legs… while drinking a beer! It doesn’t get any better than this! Thank you Anjou for taking good care of us! We will be back!

After being here several times for both massages and facials I am yet to have an unsatisfactory experience! Tempe did my facial, she was so sweet and fantastic. She used all natural products by Eminence Organics which I loved so much I ended up buying many of her product recommendations following my appointment and my skin has been very happy ever since! I have had 3 massages there so far(including a couples massage — very romantic setting) with 3 different masseuse and all were wonderful.

I love love the atmosphere… It can feel a bit busy because it does have tight quarters, the sound does carry, and in the room for mani’s and pedi’s it’s a bit tight. The steamroom is awesome, but the temperature of the steam is about 3 – 5 degree’s too hot(it could burn your feet if you don’t pull them away from the unit that it shoots out of). All-in-all, I do love it and everyone is super nice!!! Can’t beat the beverage options too! I’ll go back again, for sure. I have had a couples massage, 2 ind. massages, and a few mani’s and Pedi’s!

Getting a Brazilian wax for the first time can be a little nerve racking, am I right ladies… I had an appointment with Molly Morton and she made my experience as enjoyable as a wax down under can go. Not only was she very professional, but timely and gentle. I highly recommend her services to anyone and I look forward to going to her again in the near future.

My husband and I were in Bend for a few days and needed to massage our aching legs from skiing the day before. We called in the morning, and the friendly receptionist was able to schedule an hour couples massage that afternoon. After changing into comfy robes, we went into the relaxation room where we received a complimentary glass of wine/champagne. They also have water and tea as well as yummy almonds & cranberries. We opted to wait until after our massage to go into the steam room(co-ed). Jenna & Jeff were great! They applied the deep pressure asked for and we felt much better when they were finished. After a few minutes in the very hot wet steam room, we went to our separate bathrooms, showered and dressed. They have a blow dryer and hair products available as well as lotion. No curling iron though. I was also allowed to try on some of there makeup since I had forgotten mine and we were going to dinner afterward. Everyone was very friendly and professional. We will be back on our next visit to Bend! Thanks Anjou for a very nice afternoon!

My two girlfriends and I had a «girl’s weekend» in Bend and found Anjou just simply searching for a local spa close to our hotel. My friend said the booking was incredibly easy and they were so accommodating over the phone and confirmed the time of our pedicure appt. We arrived and immediately felt relaxed in the spa and was taken to the«relaxation room». The 3 of us were immediately in LOVE with the place and how relaxed we felt! We grabbed some refreshing cucumber water and then 3 nice ladies called our names and brought us into a room with 3 pedicure chairs — it was PERFECT! Then they made us cocktails(lemon drop and champagne) while we picked our colors. The entire experience continued to be AMAZING! Molly, Katylyn and(forget her name) were so fun and the 6 of us had a great time for an hour. The pedicures and scrub was the best I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend this place!!!

I was in town with a party of girlfriends. The space is lovely and the services were all top notch. I loved my gel manicure from Haley. If I lived in Bend I’d join the spa membership.

Okay so here is the deal. I lived in Bend. I don’t anymore. I miss this spa on a weekly basis! I didn’t realize how much I missed it until I couldn’t go to it! Every trip I take to Bend I make sure and make a long relaxing appointment at Anjou! The staff is welcoming, the place is spotless and sanitary, it smells like heaven and most importantly every single treatment is the best thing that has ever happened to you! I’ll be back to Bend in July and until then I’ll go to my imaginary happy place, which looks a lot like the massage room with the fireplace in it! =)

My boyfriend decided to make last minute reservations for a couples massage and we were placed on their wait list and were called which was awesome. We have been to a few places in town and always like trying different places. We went a few minutes early and were seated in the waiting room after were were shown around and changed. We were greeted by Sherry and Ashley and were taken to the room. Pros were: the massaged were great and they really took their time to make sure we were happy the. The Con: you could here all of the noises outside which was definitely annoying when you are trying to relax. We know we will be back but maybe they can do something about the noise.

On a girls trip out to Oregon, my friend made reservations for us to get a massage while staying in Bend for two nights. Online reservations were very easy to make, allowing for selection of the specific therapist you’d like, assuming you have a preference. I was a little taken aback by the prices, since they were somewhat steeper than I’m accustomed to in another state, but hey, it was vacation! We had 10:00 appointments and arrived about 15 minutes early. The initial paperwork was very brief to complete, and we were quickly escorted to the ladies changing room. We were thrilled with the snuggly chocolate-brown fleecy robes, and the rubber sandals, which initially weirded us out, are way better than the disposable styrofoam ones most spas use. After changing, we spent about 10 minutes lounging in the lovely relaxation room. My only annoyance was that the water for tea had to be heated up, which took quite some time, so I ended up just drinking water. The music they pipe through the building is enjoyable: instrumental music that even includes more popular songs or music soundtracks, not just chimes and nature sounds. My massage therapist was Lindsay, who struck the perfect balance of silence and conversation. She did a fantastic job with my massage, focusing on the areas I was having the most trouble with and checking on my comfort level. I loved the offer of the inclusion of a complimentary aromatherapy oil, which just made the whole process a little more of a treat than it already was. My friend’s massage was done by Tammy, and she echoed the same comments. Since both of us have extremely high stress levels with our jobs, the therapists were very sensitive to how we reacted following the massage and made sure we were comfortably settled in to recover. Since I had a shorter massage than my friend, I got to enjoy a glass of champagne while waiting on her. Needless to say, I felt extremely spoiled. We spent about 15 minutes in the steam room once we were both finished, which was kind of a pain to get started and we had to locate the receptionist to set it for us. As a note, it’s a co-ed steam room, which could be uncomfortable for some people. Before wrapping up the morning, we showered in the women’s changing room, and I fell crazy-in love with the products they had available for use(I’d have purchased several, but the prices were extremely high). In all, we spent two and a half hours at the spa, and it was worth every penny. Our vacation was definitely elevated to a higher level because of the appointment. I definitely recommend Anjou Spa and both Tammy and Lindsay’s services.

So, I need to explain the three stars, as I am a long time customer to Anjou and have never had anything but good things to say. I go to Anjou as a treatment for my car accident from years ago to manage pain. Although I’ve gone through many different masseuses, I’ve never had a complaint. This past week I came in with my mother for a birthday treat for her. We both got massages, and then also decided to try foot services, as well. Sole survivors with polish, to be specific. I was quite excited, but immediately was disappointed with it. We had Haley and Kaytlynn for our services. Not only were they not aware of the services we wanted, but they also seemed to have a problem when we told them we had asked for polish by telling us «Oh, I am supposed to work on my co-worker.» It almost seemed like a burden. Now, I do have to say, my mother was with Haley who did turn around with attitude and who was quite social and nice. I, unfortunately, had Kaytlynn, who literally made me feel like I shouldn’t be there. She would not talk to me, as I always try to talk to the technicians. When I would try to compliment her or talk to her, it was taken with a quick thanks and then silence. When she would talk, it was only to her coworker. Then, before the polish was added, both the techs were cleaning up like we were the last customers of the day. I understand cleaning up, but I also kind of felt like we were being rushed, taking away any sense of relaxation. Lastly, polish was added, and we were told to go to the relaxation room within minutes. They quickly closed the door as I left. That was followed by me tripping due to the lotion on my feet, causing me to mess up my left big toe. Rather than being able to tell Kaytlynn and asking if she could fix it, I was left in the hallway alone. The redeeming quality was the receptionist, who I can’t remember her name, but she is always so kind, had overheard me talking about it. She quickly asked if I wanted her to get the nail tech to fix it, but to be honest I didn’t ask her due to the fact I felt I would be an even bigger burden on Kaytlynn’s day. I’m not one to review in such a negative manner, but it truly put a damper on the end of my mother’s birthday celebration. I will be back for my massages, but I can be honest when I say I would never come back in for any type of nail service or recommend anyone else will. Seriously though, the massages are the bomb!

Customer service! I have been here a few times and I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed them sooner. I have only had facials and massages… but the services I have had are consistently GOOD. They care about your experience with the spa as a whole not just your service. Only once was my technician late(she apologized and it was for an understandable reason). Front desk is organized and attentive. When I go to a spa and justify paying more for services I am picky about the customer service and overall experience and this place does not disappoint. At least not so far ;) keep it up ladies!

Went to the spa with a group of 7 girls. I booked us all appointments over a week in advance and when we showed up they were ready for us. We all got pedicures which were very relaxing. The only downside is only two people can get pedicures at the same time, so we were there for 3 hours. The waiting was made better with the cocktail we all received and the bottles of wine we were allowed to bring in. The staff was great and welcoming and the place had a great atmosphere as well!

I’ve had massages all over the country, and my experience at Anjou is among my favorites. The spa itself is serene and quiet, the staff is very professional. My husband gave me a gift certificate for my birthday, so I got a massage, hydrotherapy, and scalp massage. I walked out the most relaxed I’ve been in years. Tammy was amazingly talented — I will definitely go back.

First time at this spa. Had a tough time deciding between a 3-star rating or four but because at the end we’d come back we’ll give it a four(somewhat hesitantly for the reasons indicated below): Music selection, weird to say the least. Went from a parochial sound to «cocktail’sh» like beat. Definitely not relaxing spa-type! Will say something next time. We had a couple’s massage in what appeared to be their best/largest room. The problem: an incredibly bright skylight. I requested the eye pads in order to enjoy my massage. Other than that, the room was great! Now to the important part and reason we came here, our massage… we both asked for deep-tissue massages. He got what he wanted but my masseuse admitted before we even got started that her method was more like a Swedish massage but with an attitude. Well, I waited for the attitude part and never got it! Frustrating. Not sure if it was the age or lack of experience but she just didn’t have the strength, she gave me all she could give and it this was not a deep tissue massage let me tell ya! I thought for sure I’d enjoy the neck, feet and hands part of the experience but even that was weak, and way too fast! So I really should give a 3 rating based on my personal massage experience. However, I like the cleanliness of the place, their products, the steam room, locker rooms, robes and a fantastic piece of chocolate w/champagne made up(somewhat) for the other stuff.
