We visited BBC for the first time two years ago, when we were in town and got to attend a Beer Angels( ) event with a friend. The event was the release of a delicious beer that a winning home brewer got to make there.(Fun!) We enjoyed a quick tour and some of the BBC beers as well. I remember especially liking the Ching Ching. We were there on a Monday, mid-afternoon, and were some of the few patrons. They gave us free reign over where we sat, so we picked a booth in the dining room. We shared a taster tray of six beers(5 oz each) for $ 12. Unfortunately, the Ching Ching wasn’t on tap this time. We picked the following: Ludwig German Pilsner(meh), Black Diamond Dark Lager(ok), Scarlet Imperial Red(ok), Elk Lake India Pale Ale(good), Hop Head(good), and Peach Offering Sour Ale(good). To eat, we opted to share the waffle sweet potato fries with chipotle ketchup and the fried calamari. The fries were crispy and tasty, the calamari a bit less so.

I can’t comment on the food we never got to order because Eric was too absorbed in himself or another table. I’m usually pretty generous with the reviews and give benefit of the doubt, but after being walked by not once… Not twice, but pretty sure it was about six times in over 15 minutes before he asked if we were«doing okay»(not if we were ready to order). I was done. Seriously I don’t know of any other establishment I have ever been in where I was so ignored! Epic fail in the customer service department Eric. Epic FAIL.

The vibe was cool with a ok staff and decent eats. The Beer was very good with plenty of choices along with special taps… Food– Nothing special :/ Service– The Bar tender was on point and was busy but handled the bar and drinks for the rest of the restaurant. Serves really don’t smile or look happy… :( Good thing you have good Beer… Raise your game as you have a cool place but it does not match the beer your serving !

In town visiting friends and was introduced to BBC for the very first time. Highlights included the friendly staff and the ridiculously good beer, specially trying the Ching Ching and learning I like sour beer for the very first time. We also ordered a handful of tasty apps, and I’m still dreaming about the siracha cauliflower. I am excited to bring a little piece of Bend home with me as I had to buy a new hat and BBC t-shirt with the updated logo, so fresh! You bet I’ll be recommending this spot to others and I’m already looking forward to seeing the newly renovated front room next time I’m in town!

We stopped into Bend Brewing for lunch for the first time and everything about our visit exceeded our expectations! It’s located right downtown and has a real authentic feel to it. My friend and I both had their BBC Cheeseburger and it was exceptional. The real standout is the beer… we tried many and they were all great! Service was friendly & prompt. Our favorite brewery in Bend while we visited!

We came in with a party of 8 and there were no tables left inside. We said we would sit outside(it was a little cold) and they told us that was fine but there was no outdoor waiters that day due to the weather. We said that would be fine and just planned to come back in when we needed more beer. We sat outside and the owner kept coming out to serve us! Very friendly guy. pretty decent beer deals when we were there. Pretty neat that the owner valued his customers enough to come outside and chat with us. if ever in bend again I would go back!

Stopped here on a sunny Wednesday afternoon as we were looking for a brewery with a patio. There is a good space at the back by the river to relax — unfortunately it overlooks some gravel rather than the river, but it was nice enough. The standout for me was the beer — I tried a flight of four special sours they had on for Central Oregon Beer Week, as well as one of their mainstays(I think a pale ale). All the beers were interesting and delicious! Each tasted unique from the other and all were something different from the norm. I tried a number flights in Bend and this was probably my overall favourite. The service was friendly and prompt. We ordered nachos during happy hour, which were well priced and generous. We enjoyed them. I definitely recommend stopping by here for a flight in the sunshine!

Enjoyed the fish tacos and hummus plate. Nice variety of beers including a couple of sours. Our server said that they have new owners since January 2016 who are making many improvements.

Located in downtown bend(I think!) this brewery is really nice. Beer garden backs up to the river so it always has a nice breeze. Got the flight and tried more sours than hops. Got the fish tacos and friends got the fish n chips. Both were good but bland. So for me I would stick to the beer which was fantastic! Loved the Spurs and the lower IBU beers!

It’s OK, one of the older breweries in Bend. The Ching Ching sour ale is one either popular seasonal that everyone loves. The food here is not the best, stay away from the Nachos unless you like expensive chips and salsa(which is also on the menu). Instead do something healthy for you the soup and salad option is cheap and good. All the other food is way over priced! Locals night is Tuesday and come by at 4 – 6 Mon-Fri for ½ price apps.

I am a fan of the beer here and I feel this brewery gets lost in the many breweries in Bend. I haven’t had the food here but I’ve tried the sampler tray and stopped in for a beer a number of times. The service is always friendly and I don’t feel like it gets as packed, crowded, and overwhelming as some other breweries in town.

We came in on a Saturday evening(around 8:00), and we were told to sit wherever by the bartender. After choosing a seat, we were ignored by three different staff members before we finally caught somebody’s eye. When our server came to our table she apologized and was fairly helpful. We were very impressed with the beers. I had a flight of 7 and enjoyed all of them, while my wife had the bourbon barrel agreed Right Said Red. The food was solid pub fare but nothing to get too excited over. They were out of fish, so we couldn’t try the fish and chips. Our waitress was mostly absent, but was helpful when she was around, and the bartender picked up her slack very well. Overall, a decent place for pub food, but the beers really shine here.

Came here for a later in the evening snack, 9pm. They just had the late night menu available which was ample enough. Had a decent beer and the nachos with pulled pork. They were very large but could have used a little more cheese. The pulled pork was really good and they use O’hana salsa which is a favorite of mine. The service was over the top outstanding! The bartender was truly a nice guy and I watched him take care of all the customers with a smile. The inside had a cabin like feel and the high top table we sat at was real wood(oak?) and so pretty. We will definitely come back and try something off the full menu.

Uhhh why can’t all the pricing be the same as it is in Bend for beer?! Cute little smaller brewery tucked away right by the river, i’m sure they had great patio views but unfortunately was too cold and too dark to see anything outside when we went in mid November. Easygoing crew, tons of TVs around to watch basketball on the screen, just a great place to wind down and sit back and relax.

Went here for lunch on my birthday while doing the ale trail. Definitely a good little spot with good door for vegans :-) had a Gary which is a hilarious name for a veggie sandwich. Beer was good but nothing to write home about. I’ll tell you what I would write home about though is the vegan cheesecake. Holy Hannah it was good. We ate outside on the back patio which was very nice as well. Good view of a little gully. Recommended! :-)

Walked in at 6pm on a Tuesday afternoon to find that the place is packed with a 40 minute wait! Luckily for us, the main purpose of our visit is to hit another brewery on the Bend Ale Trail, so we went to the bar which is 1st come 1st serve and we found an empty table right away! I ordered the Apricot Ale and this brew did not disappoint, it’s delicious! My husband ordered the Ludwig German Pilsner and gives it positive reviews. Now I know that I said that we were only here for the brews, but in sipping our drinks it’s hard not to notice all the picture worthy food being ordered by other patrons… So we caved and ordered the Chile Verde Nachos and let me tell you… it’s a good thing we did! It Would’ve been a shame to miss out because they are a great accompaniment to our choice of beverages!!!

We decided to check this place out because we took on the challenge of completing the Bend Ale Trail while in town. I was a little disappointed when we came in because it was advertised as a spot where you can sit on the patio and see the Deschutes River. When we arrived we could barely see the river through the trees. The patio is a decent ways away from the river and you can only see a little bit of it. We decided to try their tasting flight and that baby was huge! There were 10 tastings on that flight! I loved the variety but I didn’t fall in love with any of their beer. We got an order of fries to share and those were amazing! They have a really great texture to them that make them taste sooooo good! We were able to take a small tour of their brewery and I think its really cool how they brew all their beer in that restaurant and all the beer they brew is for the restaurant. They don’t distribute their beer. The service was great and I loved the variety of beer they provided. I’m giving them three stars because I wouldn’t buy any of their beer and they are a Brewing Company. I would like to go back and try some of their food because the food we saw looked pretty good!

We rolled into town on the first Friday and on one of the most beautiful days since last summer so parking was a beast… We should have ridden our bikes(note to self). We found this place in our«where to eat» brochure at the Marriott and I wasn’t 100% sure based on the Unilocal reviews, but I knew I wanted to go to someplace where the locals go and they have ½ price appetizers Mon-Fri 4−6p so we gave it a shot. The beer, we shared a pint of the Imperial IPA and it was so so, a bit of an aftertaste, but keep in mind that this is coming from self professed beer snob. The food, we only ordered one appetizer, the artichoke and jalapeño dip and it was good, not too think and not overly cheesy. The standout at this little corner lot brew pub is the wait staff! We seated ourselves in the bar-ish area and received prompt and courteous service! We received water immediately, menus and beer recommendations. Beer came quickly even though they were busy and the appetizer followed just as quickly… What I really loved is that the check came just at the right moment, not right after the beer and food, but I didn’t have to ask for it! Solid three stars, I wish I liked my beer choice more.

This brew-pub is pretty cool! They have won many awards for their brews and participate in the Bend beer trail! Next time in town I will definitely participate in this cool event! Growler fills are reasonably priced and the brews are tasty.
