Love the wings here, I’ve tried ALL the sauces. I’ve also had everything on the menu at least twice and it’s petty much all good. About the wings. I really wish the extra hot sauce was hotter and had a different, less cayenne pepper taste. In my opinion, the only sauce that’s worth it here is the«hot». REASONFOR –1STAR is the fact that they have the audacity to charge $ 1 for ranch, blue cheese, OR extra sauce. This place is expensive enough for just the wings. I truly believe a wing place needs to provide sauces free of change.

The food here is amazing and I’ve loved coming here in the past but since Hardy himself is no longer there the service is just not the same. Food takes twice as long to be made and just lost the same touch that Hardy always put in himself. Still recommend eating here but for those that are used to hearing that Eyy Hardy! And getting prompt fire food your going to notice it missing.

Holy moly, this was great! All our food was well prepared and our burgers were amazing. We came back the next day, but they were closed. Five guys was a let down after the tantalizing thought of these burgers! 10⁄10 would eat here again.

Hardy’s has gone down hill. Burgers got cheaper and the prices increased. Bought a Hawaiian, fries and a drink. Spent 15.00, put a dollar and change in the tip jar. Received a freezer patty, and bland pineapple slice and a thin deli slice of ham about as thin as a business card. I was not impressed. I used to buy that burger all the time. If I’m going to spend that much on a burger I expect/deserve a gourmet burger. You can get more and pay less at even«The bend burger company» I’d go to Carl’s Jr before I go back to Hardy’s. Sorry Hardy. You’ve lost me as a customer. I was just so disappointed.

They just don’t make them like this anymore. All kinds of choices for burgers and fried goodies to go on the side. I didn’t have wings or a milkshake, because there is only so many calories that my body can take, but I will try those next time around. I got a Fungi burger(mushroom and swiss) and tots(which I hadn’t had in ages). Also got a soda in one of those classic red coca-cola cups that I love. Everything was awesome. I was starving and wolfed it down. I wish I would have eaten a bit slower just so I could have enjoyed it a bit more. I grew up going to Hardee’s(the fast food joint that I believe is now just Carl’s Jr. everywhere) so I was a bit confused by their name, but I figured it out. In fact Hardy — a Bend local(and one of the best master’s swimmers in the world from what I hear) — was right there cooking my meal and making sure that I was happy with everything. There is just something heartwarming about businesses that still have their owner working there everyday. As Bend grows up and companies like Chipotle and Five Guys move in, I hope that will only help people realize how important places like Hardy’s are. Keep up the great work guys!

I’m glad that bend has a dedicated wing place. I love em, have since I was a kid and tried the originals in buffalo New York. These wings are pretty good. Not the best that I’ve ever eaten but defiantly good. The sauces are delicious with varying levels of heat. I usually get just the«Hot» and those are fine. The really hot ones are REALLYHOT, a bit much for me but still delicious. Hardys charges you extra for blue cheese dressing or ranch for dipping or celery too which I think kinda greedy. Seems like wings everywhere come with one free sauce except here. Everything is all carte so but the time you buy wings, maybe some fries and a coke, then another buck for dressing and then a tip, you can drop some dough here. That’s the reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 today. All that said, they do have good flavor, plenty of sauce which I love and crispy too. I’ll keep going back on occasion

YUM!!! This place is awesome! The young guy that works the counter is great. He’s super friendly, patient and knowledgeable about their menu and always has a smile on his face. He makes me smile! I’m not sure why Pilot Butte Burgers are voted the best. This place has the BEST burgers in town… by far. Fry’s are the bomb too.

I enjoyed Hardy’s very much. They were fast. They have a good price for the amazing food they serve. I personally had the simple hardy burger and I couldn’t recommend it more if you are really hungry but want something cheap. The sides I have to say, are outstanding and might be a reason other then the delightful burgers to come back, the shakes are very well priced and the variety of the wings are fantastic. I do not know how to praise this place enough. Please if you in the area check them out.

Cute retro restaurant. If you want wings, this is the place to be. Wings are relatively big here and there is a large selection of sauces. Service is quick and friendly! There’s something called a 10 min wing challenge. Basically you have 10 mins to eat 10 hot wings. You should definitely try it, there’s been a lot of successful competitors. There’s also parking available

Not worth the price. Small patties on burger and the one with ham was one thin slice like you’d get in s Carl buddig pack. They sell you 6 wings but it’s really 3 wings cut in half. Disappointed for all the ads on tv. Will not come back. Totally overpriced.

First visit inspired by the ad on local t.v. and love the diner décor! Enjoyed some honey bbq hot wings with a choc shake. Place was busy on a Sat noon but food came quickly. Great lunch at a good price.

All the food here looks amazing!!! from the Burgers, to the shakes. I came here because people claim they have the best Hot Wings. I am an avid hot wing connoisseur … Franks red hot is the sauce they use for their original hot flavor ;(Now I’m not against Franks, but its hard to claim the best hot wings when you use what 98% of places use. From the Brewery, to chicken Bonez, all use plain-Jane Franks wing sauce. I gave 4 stars because the place it’s self is unique and food is good, but on a hot wings basis 2 stars easy. Still on the hunt here in Central Oregon that makes its own sauce.

I love this place! Great little diner enveloped in Coca Cola nostalgia, yet still retains a local Bend feel :) It’s on the smaller side, and pretty popular, so seating can be a little limited on a busy day. Service here is great and you will always be greeted with a smile. I have yet to be in there when Hardy isn’t back there working his fingers to the bone. I love a business owner that doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty :) The food has been awesome every time. It may be a little expensive for a burger, but they’re delicious, the buns hold up through the burger eating process, and the fries are probably some of my favorite in Bend… and always consistent. Unlike some of their competitors. Their old fashioned shakes and malts are fantastic and shouldn’t be an item you pass up when eating here. I hear great things about their wings, although I personally haven’t had them. And they serve Coke products. That right there gets high praise from me since most of Bend seems to be riding the Pepsi bandwagon. This has quickly become one of our favorite little Bend joints :) Oh, and grab one of their chocolate chip cookies on your way out. You’ll be glad you did :)

I ordered the hardy burger. Cheapest burger on the menu at $ 7.95. The taste was excellent but I think the burger should have been priced at $ 5.95 given it’s size, and the patty was pretty thin. Friendly service. Taste: 9⁄10 Atmosphere: 5⁄10 Value: 5⁄10

By far the best burgers and wings in town! Their food is far beyond anyone else in town you can’t compare it. Only downside is they’re closed on mondays

I think the burgers here are comparable to Pilot Butte’s burgers and somewhat expensive prices for what you get. Never tried the wings yet though. My experience here was pretty amazing though. Even though I wasn’t thrilled by my meal, the service here is 2nd to none! The guy at the front counter who took our orders and brought our food went above and beyond what you would expect at a restaurant much less a small diner. It’s very rare that I have experienced this kind of service.

Some say this place is a little pricey — true. Some say this place uses frozen patties — most likely true. BUT — I will pay the little extra and have the burger for the customer service. It is awesome. I have encountered different cashiers, and they are all so nice and friendly. I have never had a bad burger /experience. My friend and I visited right before they closed last week. They were happy to see us and no flack. And their health food scores are amazing. Just sayin…

I enjoy small, local places like this. Our friend who lives in Central Oregon wanted to take us to Hardy’s because he knew we liked wings. This was not a disappointment at all. We tried four kinds of the wings including the Garlic, Teriyaki, Cajun and Freakin Hot. All of them were great. The Teriyaki and Garlic had great flavor, probably my favorite. The cajun was good but not my favorite. And the Freakin Hot was great, the flavor was of a traditional wing with a good kick of heat. Some wing places make their hot taste too smoky(like dirt), but not Hardy’s, he has managed to get the heat but maintain a good flavor. We also tried the Corn Nuggets and mushrooms, very good and I would highly recommend the corn nuggets! Of course we had to try the milkshakes/malts and I had a Huckleberry, which was great. Good flavor and creamy. Highly recommend this place! I would enjoy going back and trying the burgers or other menu items. Just had too much to try everything!

Hands down best burger and fries in town! I often come here when I’m craving some French fries as Hardy’s French fries are the most amazing fries I’ve ever had. I usually get the original Hardy burger and a delicious milkshake which they do themselves. They are always super friendly and fast. Service is always great and we will definitely continue going here!

Sometimes it’s those dive-like venues that make a girl giddy — Hardy’s gets me allll excited! It looks like one of those«hole in the wall» joints with greasy burgers… but you will not find that stuff here! Their burgers are fresh and not your typical«bacon cheeseburgers». Even their fries have a Hardy’s distinguishable look and taste. Crispy and not too salty. And they have ice cream that reminds me of the ice cream at my «Thrifty’s»(now Rite Aid) in California. Aww. Next stop at Hardy’s will be the 8 challenge. 8 hot wings in 8 minutes. I got this.
