Hook Fly Shop

Not very professional to go through a no wake zone on crane prairie past 4 fly fisherman in float tubes, kicking up a wake. Dangerous and doesn’t represent you well. Then they got to the ramp and damaged the tailgate of the truck because they forgot to put it up when loading the boat. Not safe all around.

This is a review for the location in Sunriver, NOT Bend.
I am assuming it’s the same company.
Nice shop but not thrilled by service. Visited shop three times in June 2013. A couple employees were nice/​helpful, but others a bit of attitude. Employees should be eager to help and be enthusiastic about customers coming in for advice, etc. I felt like a couple of the gentlemen working there were annoyed by my presence. Not all of us are experienced hardcore anglers, so yes we may ask the same dumb questions, get used to it. Another employee, a college age guy, sat behind the counter eating a burger while I asked questions. What business in this day and age allows employees to eat while talking to customers? All in all, not a bad experience, but with Sunriver Fly shop just a couple minutes away, I have no reason to stay loyal to the Hook.
