We are at the IHOP in Bend and we have been sitting here for over 45 minutes waiting for our order. Kind of a bummer. Maybe this is there normal? Of course it is Christmas Day. The food finally arrived on Santa’s sleigh and it was okay. Stomach full and ready to take in the world.

Yikes. Were we all at the same IHOP??? Because my experience was a 5⁄5. I wish I knew our waitresse’s name… I will agree on the cleanliness. The floor where we sat was a little… Uninviting, but the wait time and wait staff was superb. Our portions were ridiculously large and piping hot. Plenty of personality from our waitress as well. It was like $ 34 for 3 people, drinks included. I’d also like to add that this was my first IHOP experience, and I was pleasantly surprised. I suppose I was scared from all my angry fellow Unilocalers, but it just goes to show, follow your own instincts and see for yourself. I’m so glad I did, because I’ll definitely be back for a late night breakfast.

As soon as I walked through the door the host looked at me and I was completely ignored. Then I waited for a really long time for overly salty bacon. It took forever to get the check when I was done and there was a different person coming to my table every 10 minutes. When I got the check, I got up to pay so I could get out of there and a woman who was seating another couple said rudely, «you give that to me». I tried to be understanding because it was busy but that experience really wasn’t good at all.

Was not super impressed with the service. I had to ask for a water refill 2 times and waited 10 minutes after paying for a server to walk by so I could ask for a box. When a customer puts an empty water glass at the end of the table, that is your cue to fill it up!
In their defense I am seated behind a wall and it’s not easy to see me. But there are a total of 4 customers in here right now and the servers are not tending to them as much as they should be.
The food was delicious so that is a plus.

Possibly some of the worst service ive ever had. The wait staff kept walking past me like i didnt exist. They werent busy (maybe 50 ppl in the place) and they couldnt manage to get me a menu… or a water… or anything. The managers only respomse was «sorry». Dont waste your money, eat at Sharis instead

The Bend IHOP is one of our favorite places to eat out because of the great wait staff they have. Our wait staff has always been great but tonight, Olivia takes the cake! As a parent, it is some times tough to find a place that not just accepts our kids but actually treats them as patrons as well. Olivia was very interactive with our boys. She made recommendations to them and also when they did pick something she said good choice. Olivia was the type of employee that all restaurants should hire.

The service and food were just ok. It took a long time to receive the food and then they got one of the plates wrong. The toast was cold and hard with no butter. When I requested new toast, it never came. I feel that this place needs a pick me up where service is concerned.

Shocked to find very friendly employees, and good food two days in a row. After eating out in bend for days on end, we are so surprised that IHOP was the best restaurant we ate at. We could count on the food being good and our kid likes it a lot. This restaurant is well managed, and kept clean with good food. Yay!

The food and atmosphere is standard IHOP, but we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service staff. Very helpful waitresses, and even the manager was out helping to wait tables when the morning rush arrived.
