We have donated here several times with no problem. However today I was very disappointed as we waited in a long line to donate items. The reason we had to wait is the volunteer was literally opening up boxes and scrutinizing every little item that was being donated and either excepting or rejecting based on his evaluation. This is entirely inappropriate. I will no longer donate at this location if my donation items are going to be turned away because they are not acceptable. This is a sign of an unprofessional operation. It is a shame because we otherwise like to support the Humane Society. Furthermore the volunteer was rude to donators who were unloading their cars faster than he could scrutinize the donations.

I was visiting Bend from out of town and visited this thrift store. It has by far the best prices and best selection of any thrift store I’ve ever been to. I went three times in one weekend, the place is awesome!

Fantastic and cheap.
There are deals to be found its a big space so you can wander.
Shoes were an extra 50% off so I bought 2 pairs totaling $ 5 for both!!! And the shoes fit and super cute and useful. So cheap and great you want to giggle.
Kids books for $ 0.50 each
Cons: it’s messy, uncurated, not a pretty shopping experience.
That said you get nice prices and it helps the humane society. It’s a Win win!!!

This is a great thrift store. It’s organized well and has a lot of nice items and not much junk. They almost always have something on sale. The turnover is quick so there is new stuff all the time. This is the best thrift store in Bend.

Nice store, laid out well with decent organization and a solid variety of items. A little thin on men’s clothes and shoes, but I think that will depend on donations more than anything.
Prices were mostly reasonable. The clothes were in the $ 5+ range (fair) and the housewares were cheap. Huge room full of Christmas stuff. My son found some Lego sets in the display case. I checked ebay and the thrift store prices were quite a bit higher. He was disappointed, but Legos are expensive new. These sets were older and collectible, so it wasn’t a huge surprise. Still, all-in-all, prices were MUCH better than the Goodwill down the street.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, at the display cases and at checkout. We spent nearly $ 50 and everything purchased we felt was a good deal. If you are into thrift store shopping, this is worth a stop if you are in Bend.

Great clean non smelly thrift store. That kinda says it all. But reviews need to be a bit longer so…
I love that I get great deals on books, eyeglass cases, Christmas tchotchkes and household items.
I bought a brand new microwave egg poacher for $ 1, eyeglass case for 75c, casserole dish and glass top for $ 4 and some paperbacks for 75c each.
I love that my money is being spent to help rescue animals. Great deals and a great cause.
