Adorable café with café style service, Wi-Fi and a grab and go option. I love coming here for their delicious, fresh smoothies and pressed juices.

I’m so in love! Can’t what to live in Bend and come here everyday of my life. Got an acai bowl and a dirty hippy chai and both were delicious! The warm cure juice was also amazing :)

My second time at mothers was a completely different experience it was the same girl helping me as my first visit but this time she was polite friendly and did her job well! Even went the extra distance when I forgot my card, she made my drinks while I drove home and retrieved my card! Definitely an improvement I will probably come back, as the food is very good and obviously the owners or maybe even just the server herself has stepped up her games for customer service. Everyone has bad days perhaps my previous experience was an isolated incident. I will try again and see if the service is consistently improved :) only down side it that they are not especially fast but everything is made in store so that should be expected and The wait time is in no way unreasonable, also they do run out of ingredients alot! Im sure do to the popularity but Both times ive been there they were out of menu items! Owners! Dont sabotage your employees order the correct amount of ingredients so that your employees can give people what they want its crazy that your out of chai at 9am! But I cant fault you much because this time everyone was so friendly and it was such an improved experience that i simply ordered a different drink the Morning Buzz and it was fantastic! Also the ginger cake and pumpkin bread are both amazing!

Great morning. Sandwiches with the kids. Juice special so so good. Everything so fresh and delicious! Brought dog. Got water and love by all. A simple thing as a grilled cheese transformed into rosemary toasted bread with fresh tomato and gooey cheese awesomeness! I will be back, probably tomorrow.

Good food and great staff… but continuously seems to be understaffed and the turn around time for food and drink is incredibly slow. Hoping to return and receive a quicker turn around time. 15 plus minutes for a smoothie makes me question if it was really that good, especially when there were three customers in the store.

Work brings me to Bend often and this is my go to for delicious smoothies and juices. Their food is awesome too. Always cheerful people working the counter. Prices are a bit on the spendier side, but the quality is what you pay for and well worth it. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

There is simply no other place like Mother’s Bistro here in Bend. Fresh, organic, locally-sourced and creative sandwiches, salads, juices and smoothies. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. And all of the folks working there couldn’t be nicer. It’s a GREAT experience every time I walk into Mother’s door!

We love coming here for lunch or breakfast; sandwiches are always fresh and made with care, salads are substantial, and the food is portioned appropriately. Smoothies are deliciously fruity and I really like the Dirty Hippie, which is a Chai latte with hemp milk and espresso. Service is friendly and efficient! The only bummer is the price. It can get a bit expensive for two with an entrée and drink, but we love that everything is organic, so I guess you get what you pay for. They do have a punch card for drinks, but you have to buy like 12 to get one free(at $ 5.50-$ 6.75 a piece), and there’s no punch card for food.

Updating my review! Every time I’ve been in here lately they’ve been really nice. I haven’t ordered food in a while but my smoothies are always delicious. I bought a loaf of pumpkin bread a few weeks ago and it was sooo good.

I come to Bend for work and this place is awesome! The staff is friendly and VERY helpful. I’ve had the bagels which are yummy and the smoothies, again very delicious. Every time I go in they make me want to go back :) Next time I’ll try the soup or a salad!

I got the good morning sunshine breakfast sandwich and a «dirty hippie»(dirty chai with hemp milk). From walking in, I was ignored by the somewhat rude and dismissive cashier – she was too busy talking to other people in the restaurant to take my order. I believe the only words she said to me was«what do you want?» And the total for my order. The food is reasonably priced to be sure. The sandwich came out very quickly and is as fresh and awesome as advertised. The coffee, on the other hand, was none of that. Not only did 25 minutes go by before the cashier could stop talking long enough to make my coffee, but when I got it, it was lukewarm and weak. Meanwhile, I watched at least 5 other customers come in and go out before my drink was even thought of. The food is good, I will come here for breakfast again. But, the service(at least toward me) was some of the worst I’ve experienced in Bend.

Healthy, fresh, delicious. Favorite is the daily combo with a choice of two or three options: sandwich, soup, salad, smoothie. Breakfast bowls are unusual and yummy, too. Love the three day juice cleanse! Wish the outdoor seating was a little nicer on the Eastside but glad to have a Mothers on this side if town!

I love the Bowls!!! Really tasty and filling. The Juice was also great. I’m thinking about trying the 3 day Cleanse but it looks a little scary. For now I’ll stick to the Fresh Juice, I think I’m feeling Healthy already. I’ll be back Mother’s.

I LOVETHISPLACE! I am a huge fan of Earl Grey tea in the morning, and they have one of the best. I love their breakfast sandwiches. They come on bagels, and they even have GLUTENFREE! I ate here for breakfast 4 days in a row while I was doing training for a new job. It was quiet, fast, and tasted great every time. The staff is super friendly, and have never messed up my order. I have also eaten lunch here before, and I can honestly say it compares to and at times exceeds Panera Bread. As a native Californian, born and raised(almost 19 years), my Panera is a way of life. We don’t have one in Bend, but I am proud to announce, that I have found my «Panera» if you will. I actually like Mother’s better! Their bread tastes great, their meats taste like real meat, not some kind of subway deli lunch meat, and their smoothies are super good to! They have a lot of items on their menu, and I can’t wait to try them all! Will always be a customer, see you soon!

I’m in a funk. This funk is due to the fact that I am up here in Oregon, taking care of an 8 month old, with no friends or family to help, and I totally went to Old Navys today and found some super cute jeans that I cannot fit because I haven’t lost the damn baby weight yet, and I feel the way I look . Which is like POOP. So to get out of this funking funk, I’ve decided that I’ve got to spend a little more me time on me, and so far that consists of eating better and taking care of myself. That’s where Mother’s Juice comes in. Straight up, I’ll probably never try any of their sandwiches, breakfasts or salads. But, I WILL try the SHIT out of all their juices, smoothies, and power blends. I enjoy their juices, I really love the vegetable blends and the combo or the fact that I can create my own blends(apples, beets, and ginger anyone?). I haven’t tried their smoothies yet but I can’t wait. I’ve got my eyes on the Fat buster and the Peanut butter smoothies. The 24 oz costs about $ 6.25 and so far the staff has been really nice and the place is always clean. UPDATE**: The peanut butter smoothie is delicious for those who love peanut butter. Also tried the Fatbuster and the Tropical one. The latter came out chalky. BD loves the Gala smoothie. Juices still rock.

Veggie blend, yum! I really like the cleanliness of the place and the openness of the dining area with the floor to ceiling windows. Their bagels are nice and soft and warm which makes them easy to eat and load up with your choice of 4 delicious fillings. The granola with greek yogurt, honey and fruit is one of the better values on the breakfast menu. The lunch sandos are good as well featuring Boar’s Head deli meats and cheeses. There are also several kinds of kombucha on tap. Not the cheapest meal in town, but perhaps the healthiest and cleanest!

Our experience this week at this newly opened Eastside Mother’s Juice Café was disappointing. We were expecting more in food quality and service focus from the Mother’s folks. This is not their first rodeo of food service given the Westside Bend(Galveston St.) Mother’s Juice Café has been in business for years. The BOTTOMLINE question is will we go back to this Eastside Mother’s Café? The answer is «No». Our experience would likely be a two star review and not three but for the fact Mother’s is a local biz and one of the employees was outstanding. So, a 2.5 on a scale of five gets rounded up to three But for us, for the price paid(roughly $ 8 each for sandwich and salad) there is, in our experience, much better prepared food of equally good quality with much more pleasant ambiance at East Village down the road about a mile. It is only fair to the business that a critical review be backed up with the experience that led to the conclusion. As follows. Let’s start with the GOODTHINGS because there are some. 1) SPECIALMENTIONEMPLOYEE: Five GOLD stars for whomever was the young guy wiping off tables, keeping things cleaned up behind the counter, updating the daily specials board and wishing customers«have a good day» on their way out. If I owned a biz, this is the kind of initiative I’d look for in an employee. And it is initiative that might be modeled by the other staff.(See number one on the Disappointing Things below.) 2) MENU is creative with a plethora of healthy food options and starting with quality ingredients. 3) AMBIANCE: If the space Mother’s inherited from the defunct mom n pop sandwich shop(TuckMo) that was first in this place is not stellar for ambiance, at least it doesn’t have sardine can seating — a very good thing to have space to walk about and increasingly rare in Bend. 4) ACCESSIBILITY: Located in the Borden Corner center(across from Longboard Louie’s) the café is level in from parking through the door and throughout and also has accessible loo(s) for him and her. Now the DISAPPOINTINGTHINGS. 1) CORDIALBUTNOTHELPFULCOUNTERSTAFF: Counter folk were cordial enough when orders were placed, if not particularly welcoming to new customers who walked in and looked around trying to figure out the lay of the land. You know, «Welcome to Mother’s Café. Our menus are here. Let us know what questions we can answer. We’ll take your order at the counter.». At least two customers walked in looking confused and walked out while we were there for lack of this assistance while the counter staff chatted with each other. 2) FOODNOTGREATFORKITCHENEXECUTION: We ordered two things that sounded promising: a black bean falafel sandwich with green tomato tzatziki that was to come in a pita and a strawberry spinach salad with caramelized onion dressing, pepitas and feta. The flavors of all the ingredients in the BB falafel sando were good BUT the execution was amazingly amateur for a biz with Mother’s experience. As example, instead of being arranged inside the pocket of the pita, the falafel sandwich ingredients came slapped together — almost literally it seems — between two separate whole pita breads making it awkward to eat and with too much bread in the mix. The spinach in the salad had seen better days and although the flavors were good for the dressing, a big glop of cold caramelized onions at the bottom of the salad bowl was not. 3) SLOWSERVICE: In spite of the fact there were few customers at about high noon on a weekday, food was very slow to come out of the kitchen. 4) AMBIANCE: The sound system was turned up high volume to a local radio station playing pounding music with poor quality, scratchy, transmission. Sound matters to ambiance… something more mellow, with the quality of the transmission fixed at the right volume would help here. In particular given the ultra high ceilings and hard surfaces make sound bounce around. . 5) ALREADYLIMITEDSEATINGTAKENUPBYMOTHER’S OFFICEEQUIPMENT: Although great to not have sardine can layout, there is only seating for about 24 at about six different tables. And two of those tables were taken up by what seemed to be the Mother’s office equipment of laptop, photo copiers and so on. Adds to an overall sense of disarray in the place that is not particularly welcoming We love supporting locally owned businesses and go out of our way to do that. But they need to meet their customers half way by providing a reason for the support. There are many good lunchtime, casual options in Bend. The Mother’s folks have too much food service experience to deliver this lackluster customer experience.
