This tasting room is locally owned and operated by a Bend native. Her selection of Oregon specialty foods is AMAZING. Everything I ate was incredible. The coolest part of this tasting experience was talking to the actual winemakers. I had a lot of fun!

My husband and I visited Taste Oregon on their grand opening. This store is just what Bend needs. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and carried various locally produced items I had never seen before. We were able to sample many items and they were delicious. Jan-Marc was the wine maker that evening. He was very interesting to talk with and his wines were phenomenal. We ended up purchasing several different products because the prices were so reasonable. We shared them with our family and we have now have a shopping list of requests next time we are in Bend. Bravo, Taste Oregon!

Introduced to this small store featuring Oregon made speciality food items and wine by the very friendly owner who handed us a flyer as we were buying wine in Bond Street Market, just across the street in downtown Bend. Went for the opening day wine tasting to sample wines from Portland based winery Jan-Marc and to sample some locally made pepper jellys, vinegars, seasoned nuts, dip mixes and salad dressings. Tucked into an inner room, no windows, inside an older building downtown, you can see the owner has her heart in this. I’d say this nice lady is going to have a tough row to hoe given she has only a couple or three dozen wines in the store, wine sales in Bend are hightly competitive, merchants selling wine are many and wine drinkers in Bend seem to range from pretty darned savvy to sophisticated.. Her ace may be that some of the locally made food specialty items don’t seem to be carried elsewhere. THIS N THAT: 1) ACCESSIBILITY: This does not meet ADA minimums(now 23 years old) for access as a 3″ minus rise a t the entry door would make it undoable for most wheelchair users. 2) WINETASTING: Tastings are every Friday from opening(roughly noon) to close(roughly 8p) for a five dolalr fee and one wineery will be featured. Sometimes, as today, the winemaker will be present to pour and answer quest5ions. I think the hitch in this giddeyup is that there are several places in Bend to taste wines for free on both Friday and Saturday.
