The Longboard Store came onto my radar thanks to my son who’s a skateboarder. He is a skateboarder, not a long boarder. Located on the backside of the red buildings on Industrial Way. Today we set out to get my son a new board, he had already been to the store and checked things out and knew what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised, pretty big space with boards lining the walls, lots and lots of boards. This business started out as a web store only and has fairly recently opened up a storefront where locals can stop in to buy a board. You can preview all the options on iPads in the store. The man I spoke with said that about 80−90% of their business is still online sales. They have lots of boards already put together, but you also have the option of building your own which is what my son did. Meanwhile, brands such as Stella, Omen, Globe, Madrid, Landyachtz, Triple 8, Poler Camping Stuff and Section 9(plus many more) fill the store. My son picked out his deck on the iPad, then they helped him pick out the trucks, bearings, wheels, etc. with merchandise behind the counter. Provided him with lots of options and ideas based upon his style. Lots of options is great especially when you have a budget in mind. I think they are a longboard shop at heart — hence the name, but have lots of other choices for skateboards, mini boards, etc.
