One of the cheapest places to get a beer on tap in town, always has good options as far as the food trucks, some come and go, but every single option has impeccable food. The service is also awesome, the lady that works at the new Hawaiian truck is so sweet and charismatic. My favorite things to eat are the fish tacos and sesame chicken from the real food truck. Everything is so fresh. Great for people watching, also puppy watching.

Awesome place! Food trucks, beer, and live music. What more can you ask for? I got the Fish Tacos, and the Loaded Sweet Potato Fries. The taco didn’t impress me. I think they mixed up my order and gave me something else cause they where busy. The fries where Very good. It was loaded with a lot of stuff including curry and beets. My friend ordered the Pad Thai from the Thailandia truck. She said it was sooo spicy, she couldn’t eat it. I just wish they had more food trucks to choose from. Other than that, this is a cool place to hang out at.

Great place to relax… Portland could learn a thing or two. We feasted at Burgz and Dogz … Great milkshakes! Friendly staff. Won’t bust your budget either.

Love the Lot for the convenience of grabbing quick, delicious food of your choice and being able to eat outside. My go-to is the spicy fish or pork tacos from Real Food Bistro while my husband gets his Indian fix in. When it’s cold or rainy they have a covered pavilion with heaters, heated seats and a fire pit. It’s best on warm days while you can eat outside in the sun. Always an impressive beer selection and dog friendly too!

The lot is a great place to hang out any night of the week. Lots of great food truck choices, adult beverages, and also dog and child friendly. Great place to meet up with friends and just hang out for a while. Heated indoor seating area is perfect for any weather. Sometimes they even have live music!

Good hot dogs but the lunch wait was far too long. It took 35 minutes to receive my order of one dog. Good food Long wait

This is a brilliant idea! Four great food trucks surrounding a patio smack in the middle of a neighborhood. All the food looked amazing, but our choice of tacos and salad was delicious. It is a great spot to bring people together, and furry friends, to enjoy each other creating a sense of community. Love it. Well done guys.

I was expecting a lot more food carts but there were only 6 or so. I liked the covered area that’s heated and the option to buy beer on tap. Place can get crowded with no seats during rush hour and harder to find a spot since beer is served so people tend to sit longer. This can be an issue during rainy days where nobody wants to sit where it’s not covered. Food cart prices seem to be on the higher end, same prices as you would pay if you’re in a sit-down restaurant. We had pad Thai, pad se ew and drunked noodles from Thailandia, all three tasted different from other Thai places, not sure if it’s the sauce they use that’s diff. Good portion for $ 10 – 11.

I am really impressed with the setup at the Lot. The covered, partially enclosed space with heaters is a pleasant place to be even on the coldest of nights. The beer selection varies every time we’re there and has been great. We caught some live music during dinner one night and have just found it a generally enjoyable place to chill. Hopefully we can get there on a Tuesday for trivia one of these nights!

On a winter snowboard family vacation here in Bend, OR from Calaveras County in California. So many awesome eateries to choose from gets overwhelming. However, «The Lot» is a cool spot where you have a gathering of at least 5 different cultural/style foods to pick from. My kids got scrumptious hot dogs while some got ultimate(decadent) grilled cheese w soup sides. My wife & I got Pad Thai & Curry with rice while my older daughter got chow mein. We were directed to the communal seating area which had a semi-enclosure, heaters, heated seats and an extensive tap of beer! Food was all good for everyone in my family and it didn’t break the bank

Great food selection. Great beer selection. Great spot to meet and hang out. The place is always full of kids(good or bad, right). The heated seats are lovely. The bad: Sometimes the ceiling heaters burn your head. When there is live music it’s absurdly loud… and they refuse to turn it down.

I think this is a great place to take groups, or just yourself :) there are lots of options, and all of them are great! I like the real food carts(sticky chicken) and the Thai cart the best! Beer and kombucha on tap too!

Portland food card pods can learn a lot from The Lot! This centrally located cart pod really got it right. There are 5 – 6 carts stationed around the perimeter of the square at any given time. Currently the selection includes: Real Food Street Bistro, Thailanda, a la carte, Burgz and Dogz and Big Ski’s Pierogies. The central focus of the square is an awesome industrial-style partially enclosed and covered, garage seating area with a variety of tables and high-boy seating. And, the finishing touch that really sells this for me is the heated benches(Cold, rainy Portland, take note here, this is a must for outdoor seating areas)! I totally enjoy hanging out here on a chilly fall afternoon with a seriously warm toosh. It’s kind of heavenly. There is also the lot taps counter that serve a variety of beers, ciders and kombucha as well as cute Lot merch. They always seem to be playing some version of an Indie Rock station on the speakers, which is just my kind of music, and have a pretty awesome Tuesday night trivia event. I have so much love for this place!

Go here when you’re in Bend! Wednesday night we’re here and there are lots of people and live music. We shared food from two different food trucks — both equally good. The beer? Yummy. I had a red ale and my companion had a pelsner. I don’t know if it’s that we’re on vacation, but everything was very tasty. So happy we came here!

Stole away to the Lot for a beer with a buddy while the wives kept the kids entertained. I love the concept and atmosphere — a beer garden with great brews, covered seating that’s indoor-outdoor, with heated seats if needed and shade if it’s hot outside. Hungry? Grab a bite at any number of food trucks and food carts that are around the perimeter of the Lot. This is the kind of place that I wish I had in my own neighborhood. Guess I’ll just have to visit Bend more often…

This place is one of my favorite places to take people and everyone who experiences the Lot, returns. My sister showed me the Hawaiian joint Mauna Kea Grill. We had the shredded pork plate with upgraded sriracha macaroni salad. I dream of this food weekly. Then my brother showed me the chow mein at thailandia. Wow! Loved the fresh ingredients that haven’t been murdered in a pan, but are incredibly flavorful and fresh tasting(and had to wash it down with a coconut milk thai iced tea). The only downfall to this place is that the service at Thailandia can be a bit chaotic. But most of the time it’s fine. Mauna Kea is ALWAYS great! Definitely check this spot out. It combines the Portland food truck obsession, good brews, with quintessential Bend vibes.

I love the atmosphere of this place. It is much cleaner feeling, upscale, and well-appointed than your average food cart collection. The heaters/heated seats are wonderful when it is cold as is the shade/shelter nice when hot or rainy. Dog friendly! Two clean bathrooms around back behind the bar! Like all food cart pods, this is perfect for groups since people can all pick whatever they are in the mood for and you don’t have the nightmare of splitting a check 6 ways. Evidently there *are* Unilocal pages for each of the carts but something is up with them because they aren’t all showing the right location on the map and zero show up when looking for nearby places even with all filters turned off. Here they are, in case you’re having the same issues I am: A logistical improvement would be adopting some system for alerting people that their orders are ready. Having to check in at the carts(or the LOUD yelling of names every couple minutes — looking at you Real Food Bistro) seems like an inelegant solution to an otherwise very well executed space. If buying beer/wine with a credit card, they use an iPad and Square. I kind of hate the way Square is trying to change the landscape of tipping but since a buck a drink is a customary tip on alcohol, this instantiation isn’t that bad.(I.E. It’s better than prompting me to pick between $ 1/$ 2/$ 3 tip on a $ 1.75 coffee.)

On a recent vacation to Bend, the visitors center suggested that we pop over to the food trucks for a quick lunch. Such a great suggestion! We had a great little drive over, getting to see the pretty park and some cool neighborhoods. With a great variety of food styles to choose from, from Hawaiian to Hispanic to organic, we were happy girls. We both settled on the RealFood truck, which was manned by two hilarious guys, offering us help to decide on our orders. With a friend who is highly sensitive to gluten, they had no problem making sure her food was gluten-free. I ordered the Dilly Beans with their house remoulade sauce, and she picked the sticky chicken. I ordered a beer from the bar, which had a decent number of options, although none of them were hugely unusual. The seating area is fabulous. There’s a pub height long table and a number of smaller round tables and picnic tables, many under the large awning. It was a little chilly, so they had heat lamps kicking. People-watching is awesome here! Prices and portion sizes were very reasonable, which was great for two vacationers who had been eating at sit-down restaurants for several days and just wanted something easy on our tummies and wallets. Between the flavorful food, inexpensive beer, cozy seating, great music, and atmosphere, this is a fantastic spot in Bend!
