Love the 7 grain bread! I go through a loaf in about three days… you’ve got to try it!!!

It is always really hard to decide just one thing to try! Great variety and quality. The staff is nice. It is extremely UN-handicap accessible. 2 cement stairs going up to a little old door. Directly inside the door(guesstimating 2 feet) is the counter, with a display area to both side. This rating is for the accessibility and not the baking. I hate it when people do that but this was the most inaccessible place I have been too. Cash Only.

5-stars, without a doubt. They do it up just right, at Baked. Their Stollen seasonal bread loaf was insanely delicious and addicting, along with their tasty cinnamon rolls, EPI rolls, and just about everything else they make. Their prices are definitely on the slightly higher side, but it’s certainly well worth it(quality, taste, service). They treat their employees well and take care of them the best(and realistic) way they can. Gordon and Jeff are both A-class gentlemen. They are a very welcomed addition to the ‘hood.

Absolutely the best. Of everything. These people love baking. They use the best materials and they study the art and science carefully. How would I know? I’ve been going there every week since they opened. And I’ve asked them to make special items to serve guests — things like finger versions of their incredible Kale pie. My wife had them bake me a pecan pie for my birthday cake. Wonderful.

We came here on a culinary tour. The baked goods they had there were excellent, so except in fact that they will see out of things early, so make sure you get there early in the day. The variety of breads, pastries, etc. were great. Everything that we ate here was delic! I would go back.

I haven’t yet had anything I don’t love from baked. We often manage to find ourselves walking past the bakery on our way to or from Harmon Park. The 50 cent lemon cookies are just right for a kid sized snack. They use ghee(clarified butter) in a lot of their cookie type things, by the way. So if you are lactose intolerant, you should be able to handle their stuff. Just ask. I love the staff, too. There’s nothing that makes my day like some hipster looking dude behind the counter taking my 5 year old’s purchase of a cookie very seriously and kindly. Keep your eye out next door for the upcoming food cart called the Real Food Street Bistro. Can’t wait!

I stopped by for the first time today and just bought a loaf of rye bread. It is top notch, and definitely some of the best rye I’ve had since I was in eastern Europe. I also love the fact that they are an «afternoon bakery». It is perfect for those of us working full time. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other goods.

we were in the bike shop next door and those guys recommended we try Baked for a snack. they specifically recommended the Epi. lucky for us, they had 4 left, one for each of us. holy cow they were good. i was craving a sweet, gooey treat but so glad we were steered towards the Epi. light and fluffy small bread treat with poppy seeds, and salt to top. absolutely delicious. the guys running the shop were very cool. what is it about bend? we commented all weekend at how absolutely nice and friendly everyone was. we began to start thinking something horrible was going to happen. anyway, we asked for a good brewery and they pointed us exactly in the right direction. if you go, get the Epi. they go quick!

What were we thinking? We forgot to take photos of the wonderful calzone and date — fig cookie we bought today at Baked before we ate them. Too late for a photo. Not too late for you to go in and buy your own to see them first hand and, more importantly, eat them too! Today was our first try of a Baked calzone. It was just the right sort of «hand sized» to be able to share for two lighter eaters for a snack or for one for a meal. Today’s options were sausage or cheese filled. We’re picky about sausage but when we learned it was from a top notch Portland sausage maker, the choice was easy. The calzone was excellent, just tender — chewy enough bread wrapped around a fennel pork Italian sausage with just the right amount of spicy«kick». At $ 3.50 it was a bargain for the quality. The fig — date cookie was delectable — a large rectangular cookie with gingerbread spices, chewy good from figs and dates and with the crunch of some chopped walnuts mixed in. A generous size for two people to split and only $ 2.00. We hear Lone Pine Coffee has just added these to their in house options and that gives us another reason to go to Lone Pine too! Yes the owners are having as much fun as they look like they’re having in the photos! Somehow you can also taste that in their products, — the fun and care. The couple that own Baked, he is also the baker, are such nice people and it’s great to see this bakery is becoming better known and well loved. The only two things that keep us from a five star review are the drawbacks with the infrastructure as mentioned in our first review — things the bakery owners really have no ability to address as they don’t own the building.(No wheelchair access, no seating to eat in.) But the couple who make this work so well and the yummy things they create all get five big stars! And remember, this is a «green» business… cash only, no credit cards accepted. :-)

I’m not too experienced with this place yet, but so far I’m very happy! They had these amazing breads with olive oil, poppy seed and epi(?) salt for 75¢ each. Delicious! I ate the whole thing before I got back to my house. Then I also got their regular baguette for $ 2 which is delectable as well. I’ve just been eating it plain with some dipping olive oil. I’m definitely making a trip back there!

Amazing! They have both sweet and savory items, including challah and other baked breads. I’m going back for the pizza! Less expensive than any other bakery in town. Highly recommended.
