I came by around 930 pm and they had all the lights off except the kitchen. I thought it was closed but saw a car go through the drive though so I gave it a try. They were open but evidently didn’t feel like working. I tried to order an 8 piece family pack but they said they were out of sides. How can you run out of sides? When the mash potties and Cole slaw get low make some more! Instead he let me buy the cicken at a discounted rate. $ 1 a piece which I’m sure are cutting into the owners profits. So I get home to eat and the chicken was very dark in color which means it was cooked in old oil. Bit into it and it had that nasty old oil taste. Wife ended up getting a stomach ache.

I’m not sure if this store has new management, but the food and the service has shown drastic improvements. The grill chicken was very good. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Disgusting. Is there a minus-​star rating? Sorry, but KFC Benicia deserves that. Dry chicken, SPOILED coleslaw. Filthy floor in cook area. Employee couldn’t figure out how to ring up our order. Employees took best parking spots in front. All other spots so dark it was dangerous. Whoever manages the joint obviously doesn’t care. Whoever owns it really should.

What a dump! The place is filthy! The chicken is cooked in old grease! The service is the worst! The bathroom had no soap. There were mice droppings under my table.
Does Benicia inspect restaurants? Ray Charles wouldn’t eat here!

Went through the drive thru, ordered a 3 piece meal and the chicken wasn’t edible. It was horrible! Gross!

Minus Stars are deserved here… needs to be condemned! I want to know what has happened in their upper management that this place has become what it is. I realise its fast food but this place is beyond filthy! Drop in any day, any time and you will share my experience. Workers: pants falling down around their thighs, hoodies up over their heads, eating and drinking while cooking, not changing their gloves, touching faces, pants, hair with gloved hands and continuing to cook, there is standing water/​liquid on the floor in the kitchen near the freezer doors several inches deep and about a 5×7 area, the smell churns your stomach, our feet stick to the floor, flies, there is some non operating piece of kitchen equipment being stored in the dining area which is just as filthy and grease covered as the kitchen area, floor to ceiling filth, they messed up every order and took 30 minutes to fill my friends order… which was wrong, the chicken pieces were dark, old, unrecognizable, no drumsticks, missing biscuits. The health department needs to shut it down!

Stopped for some chicken and was informed there was no chicken, and it would be some time before any was ready. Zero stars.

Chicken are dried. Not to KFC standard. Not enough chickens made. Screwed up my order. Rude. The place was dirty and visible grease on the floor.

I have been coming here forever! Just walked in for lunch and I slipped on the floor because all the grease on the floor. I’m not talking about a little either I’m talking the floor of the entire floor. So that already made me hesitant to order. I then stood there and was ignored for 7 min. Last time I checked kfc is fast food and I only get a 30 min lunch break. I hope the owners get some better management that can keep the place clean. Even the vallejo kfc is cleaner. This place has gone down hill. Don’t know if I will come back. And I definitely will be telling my friends to stay away.

This is the worst fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to. Went inside once, there was a large spill on the floor. Their response was «oh». I let an older patron know right before they walked across it as it went unmarked. They’ve forgotten an item a full 50% of the times I’ve been there. Even more common is the «Um, we won’t have this for another 5 minutes, it’s finishing cooking. Can you pull up around and wait in the parking lot?» The last 5 minutes took 25 minutes. Typically it’s the shift manager at the drive-​thru window, a la no excuses. No napkins, no sauce, no utensils, no shame.

My husband went in there today to pick up lunch, and among other things, he asked for 6 original wings. The guy said he wasn’t sure if he had 6, but he would check. He gave the hubs his chicken, let him know they did have the 6 original wings and he came home. I ate 2 wings and they were a little TOO moist, but I persevered… the 3^rd was raw inside, as were the rest of them except 1. Raw. Bloody, red, raw. Just tell us you don’t have any available, don’t give us raw chicken! Not cool, KFC, not cool.

Horrible service. I’ve been a customer at this store for 10 years and, once again, received poor service. I’ve ordered the same thing for all of those 10 years but this time the store manager told me they don’t have an all dark meat bucket (never have). She said she would put one together for me but it would be full price… I’ve always received a dark meat discount… she said «never» and she’s the manager so she knows best.
It’s not about the money… a couple dollars, whatever. It’s the fact that she chose to argue with me and deny a long time customer. When I got to the window, she continued to argue. I ask if I was going to get my order, she said I never placed my order and I was ask to move away from the window. I didn’t get my order and will never go to this store again… I encourage you not to give this store your business either.
I’ve read many of the reviews for this store and clearly the franchisee doesn’t pay attention to social media because it isn’t getting any better.
I would have rated the store a zero if i could but I guess they did me a favor and deserve one star. I will likely live longer because I will never eat their «heart attack in a bucket» again.

The drive thru attendant was unpleasant, the food was greasy greasy greasy. Even for being fried. The tea had gone sour, but they still served it. Not good

I picked up the KFC Festive Feast meal for a holiday party, the food was good & the service was good as well. I would go back again–

I am so tired of getting hard and stale fried chicken through the drive through. I felt either it’s overcooked or they have been sitting on the warming tray for too long. For certain, the chicken here isn’t being prepared in a correct consistent manner because Crispy chicken should taste crispy and the Original Recipe chicken should taste softer than Crispy… they both shouldn’t taste like beef jerky.. This place doesn’t seem to have any quality control. Doesn’t the manager or employees have any conscience not to sell stale or overcooked chicken? Hey I know how KFC chicken should taste like since I’ve been eating it all my life and for sure, this place does not live up to KFC standards. For this reason I gave this location a one star.

From a business standpoint this place is very poorly run. Either the owner is making a fortune and doesn’t care about his product /​customers or they are going broke and just don’t care about anything.
Dirty, rude employes, routinely don’t have items on the menu (including chicken).
Prime location and the only chicken place in town, could be real money maker… what is the owner thinking?

I understand that most of these restaurants are franchises and there is someone that individually owned them but service should be service no matter which location. I went to the drive thru and had a coupon for $ 2.99 special which was a drumstick, breast, mashed potatoes and a biscuit and it was horrible, I mean the pieces you would have thought that they came from a pigeon instead. The pieces were so small I wish I would have taken a picture of it before I made this review.
Also they did not give me a spoon, fork, knife and napkin is this still being given out these days at restaurants? I would have gone back and complained but I was starving. This is why I personally I do not eat out much anymore because establishments are not being concerned about quality and customer service anymore only about their bottom line.
I definitely would not recommend this KFC.

I won’t give a zero although this is the first time I really wanted to, stop the up sailing already, when someone says that all that’s it enough already. Now for the food, I stopped to buy food so I could have a picnic with my grand kids at Benicia Park, the chicken probably the worse I’ve ever had and I am from Kentucky, how embarrassing and the mashed potatoes are better from a box, the Mac and cheese was eatable so I guess it wasn’t a total loss, not, so I guess again this limits the restaurants I have to eat at in Benicia, buying three meals you would think they would give us napkins so I called the restaurant from the park and asked them about why no napkins and the girl sad «oh did I forget» come back and I’ll give you some, yeah right!!!

The inside of this place is disgusting. Everything is dirty and dingy. It makes you feel like you are going to find some kind of bug in your food. Customer service is seriously lacking, even though it’s just KFC. I’m honestly surprised that the place passes standard health laws. Will only be using the drive through if we absolutely have to have KFC.
