I like this place. I see there is one other pizza place in Bennington, but I tried this place first and I feel no need to seek out anything else. The pizza is good, bar has a good variety, and the servers are friendly. I had onion ring pizza here once and really wanted to have it again, but the two times I’ve been back there since then they have not had it :(

No place like Ramunto’s… I make a point of stopping here every time I’m in Bennington. Lots of beer taps, really good pizza. What else could you ask for?

Went here with the family last night. We had various items, linquini, ziti, calzone, wings and garlic knots. The food was excellent, in our opinion. Sauce on the pasta was very tasty, and you can order any toppings you want with it, along with one protien. I got roasted reds, mushrooms, black olives and sausage. Most excellent. The only reason I dropped one star is that you have to pay twice for food at the counter and drinks at the bar, rather than one ticket, and because it’s unclear whether you get your own utensils or not. These things could be easily handled by the restaurant and would make for a much nicer experience, if they had a POS system that handled it(maybe they do, but don’t use it, or want to). We’ll go back and try it again.

When this restaurant first opened the quality was good. But I just got a pizza from there the other day and it was so gross no one ate it in our family. We all took about two bites and that was that a waste of money. The pizza wasn’t greasy it was more the cheese they are now using or the sauce, my bet is that they have sacrificed quality over profit now. I would rather pay 5 dollars for a Dominos pizza at least you know what your going to get; a cheap tasting pizza. Well I guess it’s back to Bennington Pizza for us. Buyer beware the pizza is no longer what it was when they first opened!!!

Great pizza! Cheaper than Marigold’s when you really just want a slice and some garlic knots. I wish it were more accessible from North Bennington.

Pizza with Ham, Pineapple, Sausage and BBQ Sauce. Delicious!!! Travelers, Great place to stop and eat the best pizza. My friend Jerry said that the spaghetti was yummy with extra sauce.

Ordered from here multiple times. Lots of unique variants on pizza. Always plenty of slices in-stock. The bar has a fairly good selection on tap as well. Minus the subs which taste like slimy Oscar-Meyer deli meat, you can’t go wrong with any of the pizza, calzones, or wings. Considering how little there is in the town, the place is a God send.

Decent pizza place in a sleepy town. Ordered the spinach dip appetizer, half salad, and large meat-lovers pizza. The cashier warned us the spinach would take a while, but we were in no rush. The spinach dip was GIGANTIC — could have been a meal. The pizza was adequate — not bad, not amazing. Good beer selection and bar area. Main complaint is the lack of table service — makes ordering confusing. Order your food up front, open a tab so you can order beer at the bar, you’re on your own as far as refills, napkins, silverware, etc. Go back to the cashier when you’re ready to leave… etc. Just a lot of work for the customer.

Great pizza place for a small town that doesn’t have much going on. Order by slice or get a whole pizza. They also have a nice little bar inside too. We got a couple slices(pepperoni and white sun dried tomato with spinach and feta). Both were very good. Pretty New Yorky which surprised us. We also ordered the wings which were decent as well and the garlic knots which were delicious. Service is quick and prices are reasonable. Solid place.

Pretty sure this is the only place that delivers in this town. Ordered a chicken parmigiana plate with linguini and a tomato & mozzarella salad with balsamic vinaigrette ok the side. What was delivered was a chicken parmigiana sub and there was no dressing for the salad. Very disappointed. Didn’t bother to call to correct the order. The salad was also just lettuce with three pieces of mozzarella and thinly sliced tomatoes(what you would put on a sandwich) that were wilted. I’m sure I’ll be forced to order from here again if I want delivery and don’t want to leave my hotel. Next time I’ll try pizza.

In town a few weeks ago doing some house-hunting and after day 1 of hunting(9 houses!) we got a pie from this spot. My sentimentality made it hard to commit since I always loved Alldays & Onions when living in Bennington years ago but I was talking into it. Actually, I don’t know if I had a choice. I’m a New Yorker so I don’t understand the whole toppings thing — we went with plain cheese, ordered some garlic knots, and enjoyed with a two liter of coke, the way pizza is supposed to be enjoyed. Gotta say: not bad! Not bad at all. The crust was crisp, the sauce was balanced, the pie had oregano(pizza without oregano is like a Jewish Pope), and it was cooked exactly right. I’m looking forward to going INTO the restaurant because the beer list is pretty good from what I’ve heard. While we haven’t attended yet, we have Ramunto’s Trivia Nights on our to do list for once we’re back in town. The other food is supposed to be good, too, but I think I’ll stick to the plain cheese pie… it’s impossible to get a good one of those out here in the midwest!

We tried again. And was disappointed again. The pizza is good, not the best in town but good. The Greek salad seemed soggy which is not a good taste for a salad. I like a crispy croûton. The wings were the worst. We ordered Garlic Parm and Teriyaki. The Garlic Parm had no garlic or parm and seemed undercooked. We have all ageed that we just need to stay with our typical joints for pizza.
