Philly It Cheesesteaks

Its as good as it gets without having to go out of your way for a sandwich. I had the cheese-​steak hoagie & cheese fries, this is a good quality sandwich recommended don“t chop the steak.

Found this place on Unilocal while in town in business. It was on the path towards my hotel. Called in and asked for a recommendation for a first time customer. Got their special cheesesteak combo with fries and a Pepsi for around $ 10 and change!
How was it? Awesome! I inhaled half of it in my über immediately. Hot, fresh, and perfect amount of wiz and onions on top.
Crinkle cut fries were excellent.
Service was friendly and fast.
Will definitely come back and try other items on the menu.

Have been here a few times over the past few months. Every time has been a great experience. The food is great and the staff are all friendly and polite… which is difficult to find nowadays. Keep up the good work!

not in the area much and first time visit to this shop. Yeah bread a little chewy but fresh, friendly service. I messed up my order and had to add and change a few items, no problem with them. I really like that they had a toppings bar, very neat and fresh looking.

Went here on a Unilocal recommendation. We were shopping at the mall and went about ½ hour out of our way to get here. I thought it was worth it. Cheese steaks were fresh and good. Lots of options. Place was very clean and service was excellent. I would visit again when in the neighborhood.

Most friendly customer service. Prompt attention to gluten free request. Would definitely recommend for family friendliness, cleanliness and hospitality. And sandwiches tasted great, as well as fries — seasoned and cheesy.

The bread is a little chewy but the flavor is spot on for a traditional Philadelphia Cheesesteak. Nice clean restaurant with attentive staff and reasonable prices. My fries were not soggy at all, compared to reviews by others.

Came here to try the food because of the reviews on Unilocal.I expected the food to taste amazing based off the reviews but it’s just average in my opinion…

For take out cheese steak, this place is pretty good. They have a bunch of different types of cheese steaks including pizza steak, tomato topped steaks, and different toppings including 5 different types of cheese. I like that you can really customize your cheese steak. Reasonably priced and quality meats — very pleased with my lunch and will grab another cheese steak when in the area again!
Service is sorta slow as it took 10+ minutes for 2 original cheese steaks to be ready. Also the cheese steaks and fries are quick to get soggy when you take-​out.

Good enough cheese steak. Doesn’t quite reach that special elite level but for a Bensalem strip mall location you can’t go wrong.
Keep it simple, their special sandwiches miss the mark.
When getting take out they close the fries in a box and they get instantly soggy so fix that please

They are a great find here on Bensalem. Tons of choices for cheesesteaks and pork sandwiches. I am never disappointed in anything I have ordered. Clean and numerous TVs at this location if you get the privilege to dine in. I suggest wings and a sliced up steak!

Hunger satisfaction guarantee! This place has quality Phillycheese Steaks with all the fixins’. The Italian hoggie bread is soft and has that «just from the bakery» freshness. Well-​seasoned meat is mixed fried onions with your choice cheese and set atop of the heavenly bread. The onion rings are nicely battered and deeply fried. Just so you (the reader) is aware, I enjoy my meal so much that I signed up for Unilocal just so I could tell you how good this place is. The restaurant is neat and very clean. There’s always a good view of your favorite football game on the multiple flatscreen TVs that hang in the restaurant. If you need a quality dinner/​lunch/​snack, stop here. I know I will.

After watching the Pope on Sunday we were eager to return to homebase but still get our cheesesteaks! I was glad this place had great reviews, and decided to try it.
I ordered the Original Philly It which was just chopped meat, cheese and grilled onions and it was cooked excellent. The roll was nice and soft and came with plenty of meat and onions! The hubby ordered the Mayfair, the one with tomatoes in it, and I was surprised how warm tomatoes didn’t ruin the sandwich.
We also ordered chili fries, after a very public battle between those and the garlic parmesan ones, and was content with them. The chili had decent flavor, LOTS of meat in it, like CHUNKS of meat, which made it feel more like a cheesesteak fries than chili fries, which is not a bad thing.
The service was quick and attentive, we got our food to go, but I wouldn’t mind eating there since it looked very clean and had a service bar of fresh pickles and peppers as free add ons to your meal. Looking forward to coming back.

We went to Sesame Place and wanted to taste an authentic Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. I was searching in Unilocal and came across this place. A short 12 minutes drive from Sesame Place, took us to this restaurant. It was very quiet when we came, probably it was Sunday night and football night as well. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak, the garlic parm wings and the South Philly sauce. The service was quick and the guy from the counter was nice and service is excellent too. It was a nice cozy place with TV, clean bathroom and food was excellent! It was a really good sandwich, which i could not find anywhere here in NY. Until now, my husband is still dreaming of the cheesesteak. I recommend this place and would go back when we are around the area.

I hate to do this to you, Philly It… but I’ve experienced some inconsistency with your establishment, which has forced me to go with an updated review. I was willing to keep trucking until my experience today. It wasn’t horrible, but if it was my first visit… it would be enough to possibly have someone not want to return.
I had full anticipation of coming here after work today. I was hungry and wanting to treat myself to a Fairmount Park (pork, broccoli rabe, sharp provolone), which had seemed like eternity since my last experience. Upon arrival, I had a personal mishap outside… keys being locked in the car while it was running. AAA was called and I was still hungry, so I figured I’d go in while waiting for them. I walked in and no one was in there… I mean, no one. No staff… Okay, I figure someone is probably in the bathroom, it was probably a slow day so only one person must be working. About ten minutes go by… still no one. I went to the bathroom, came out… still no one. I didn’t want Domino’s and didn’t have time for Tako. I was basically getting ready to say, «Screw it.» I was moments away from just punching a hole through the car window and driving off. Out of nowhere, not one… not two… but three kids come walking back in from the back end. Really? I was their age once, I get it… you were bored, but do that stuff in shifts. You know what I’m talking about. They seemed sorry and were being pretty friendly. I went about ordered the Fairmount and some fries. Fries are your run of the mill frozen crinkle cut, but I don’t mind this because they always cook them crispy. My sandwich was a total miss. I was so disappointed. My broccoli rabe tasted rancid. The pork was chewy and had no flavor. The roll tasted somewhat stale. I was sad. If it was my first time here, my rating would have been a bad one… but I still keep a three because I KNOW that they’re better than this. I just hope they don’t keep letting a bunch of kids run the joint when the boss needs a day off. I think they should get a better stand in or that place will burn down for sure…

Been here a couple of times for Philly cheesesteak, and they are excellent! Wings are decent, and french fries are crispy too. Just don’t understand why it’s not packed? Maybe mostly takeouts?

This is a good local hangout for Philly cheese steaks.
It is a fast casual restaurant for take out or seat in with friendly staff. I would recommend the original cheese steak with no lettuce so that you will get the full flavor of it.

The cheesesteaks are as good if not better then the big South Philadelphia shops. The service is friendly and quick.

Excellent Cheesesteaks!
First time eating a cheese state in Philadelphia… I have had them in other cities across the country and finally had the opportunity to try an «original» and glad I did. The steak was REAL and grilled perfectly with the onions and mushrooms… I added mayo and banana peppers. Fries were crinkle cut normal (not spice covered or crappy) and crispy — excellent all the way around. The staff was friendly and interactive… brought food out to table fresh and hot. Price was 10 bucks for the sandwich, fries and a large fountain drink, so very reasonable. Loved it — will come back here if ever in the neighborhood again.

I decided to check Philly it out based on other reviews and I was not disappointed.
