Honestly, the shrimp was good but that was about it. Everything else was ok or bad. The atmosphere was not welcoming. We sat there for a while before getting service from some woman that I thought was a guest at first. Not trying to rain on their parade but I wasn’t feeling it here.

don’t bother must have some new owners menu changed from a few years back. empty inside accept for a few around the bar. a food worker from the kitchen had to motion us in to take a yable, finally a waitress/blonde gave us menus, drinks, and rolls and was gone for 20 minutes we left a few bucks on table and walked out this was 2 pm on a Sunday clearly they should not be in business

We have been here several times. The food is great, and the prices are acceptable, and, usually, the bartender is great. However, we went there in a Sunday, and my opinion of this place changed; dramatically. First, we get there at 5PM, order drinks, the blond bartender is rude. Then we ask to see a menu, and the bartender is, again, rude. She snaps that the kitchen is closed. Mind you, it was 5PM, and the bar was completely full. In the course if finishing out drinks three other patrons asked for food, and all, like us, we denied. We went elsewhere and won’t be going back. The awesome bartender we usually see is the only reason for two stars. Without her it would be, without a doubt, one star.

Attended a baby shower there on Sat. 04/11/2015. The food and service was fantastic! You were greeted by the experienced waitstaff with trays of mimosa’s. :) The entire room was beautifully set up with a buffet table that extended the length of the room. The green bean, artichoke and fresh mushroom salad was tossed with a great tasting creamy homemade french dressing! The rigatoni in vodka sauce was outstanding! The thicker roast beef slices were complimented well with the roasted potatoes along with the seasonal medley of fresh vegetables. I will definitely be back very soon! Keep up the great work Bobby!!!

I’ve eaten here several times, and wish it received the attention it deserves. The salads are forgettable, but the main dishes are great! We’ve had a few big family parties in this restaurant, and the food was amazing! Nice open patio area to enjoy during the summer, but this is also where the smokers choose to gather. This is a family-friendly place. Their bar area is separate, so the folks playing video poker and doing shots are not near the dine-in area. Be aware, Wednesdays in the summer are packed due to Bensenville’s «Music in the Park» so be aware there’s no parking for blocks. Go have a bite or drink and enjoy the festival!

This place is great, Bob and his staff are wonderful. I used them for our company holiday luncheon. The food is homemade and taste great. Everyone enjoyed it. It was great they set it up and came back and took it down. I would definitely order from them again. Keep up the great work and great tasting food.

Fantastic food!!! The atmosphere was very good! They had a bar area where people were having fun watching sports and playing games, then, they had a separate dining area in case you wanted something more quiet. The staff was on point, checking on me time and time again. I decided to go for a drink from the bar and met Cheryl, the nicest bartender you will ever meet. Me and my family will definitely be coming back. Looks like they have an outside dining area too. Looks like fun in the summertime too!

The steak burger was absolutely delicious. The music choice and outdoor seating was great. The only disturbance was the trains that would pass every 15 minutes or so.

The best restaurant in Bensenville. Great tasting food with great service. Bob the owner is a really nice guy who runs the place professionally.

Came in for lunch and enjoyed the pork tenderloin with delish real mashed potatoes and and crisp green beans. I was actually impressed with the interior appearance; doesn’t look as nice from the inside to me. Place was kinda quiet with a few patrons that seemed to be on a lunch meeting. Waitress was friendly & attentive. I work nearby & predict I’ll be back soon.

If you like hanging out with over served obnoxious drunks while you try to eat, then this is the place for you. Don’t try to come in with the family especially if you have children as the last time I was there a bar fight broke out, and there were only 4 people in the bar. A quite guy, an extremely loud guy talking about money(obviously drunk) the bar keep and a guy trying to enjoy his beer. Both parties from my assessment were really drunk and should have been cut off long ago. Food is sub par, wait staff is horrendous and bar tenders seem to have a poor read on their patrons. NEVEREVER going back nor would I recommend to anyone I HATED let alone liked. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Pretty good food. Crazy hours so call ahead. In downtown Bensenville. Right at the metra station. I had dinner then next door to the movie theater and ice cream shop. I will be coming back. In the summer they have live music.

This rating is really for 3 and a half stars. I came here for a 60th party for my aunt on a Saturday afternoon. We had the party room for ourselves for a group of about 30 people. The food was buffet style, with pretty standard salad, Italian beef, etc. The eggplant lasagna and a cheesy broccoli/cauliflower bake were tasty additions. The only suggestion I would give would be to put out coffee/tea with the buffet, because the waitress had a hard time keeping up with passing out cake and refilling drinks at the end of the day. Overall it was a nice cozy place for a family party.

Came here late one night and it was completely emptied, which worried me, but it was a weekday. Food: Patty melt with sweet potato fries, this was really good. Fresh off the grill and well seasoned. Coconut shrimp has to be some of the best I’ve had, very coconutty. Skirt steak skewers, not worth $ 1.50/piece Service wasn’t that great. Our waitress was on top of our food and drinks order, but once everything came out she didn’t check up on us for awhile. When we asked for the bill she promptly gave it to us, but disappear and never came back to charge our card. We finally walked up to the front and she was having a drink with someone… which by all means go ahead and have a drink, but don’t neglect paying patrons.

Tony Stewart could not have gotten us out of this place fast enough. I felt as if I was trapped in some backwoods carnival while imprisoned in an episode of «My Name is Earl». The clientele were rude and obnoxious as well as very cold to those not wearing biker colors or sporting a smile with all teeth in tact. The inside of the place looked classy and the drink specials were attractive but we had gotten hype for the food and aura from two sources… Those two sources must’ve been partaking in the drink specials because the appetizer(calamari) tasted as if it was fried on the hood of and old oil burner and the chicken dishes tasted as fresh as cardboard. The service had the personality of a wet ashtray and the manager could’ve done himself a service by not always drooling over the teen something friend of the bartender. This isn’t a character filled dive bar with personality, it is just horrible!

A nice little family owned restaurant in downtown Bensenville, right next to the train station. This place is close to my work and near the bank, so I often order to go from Two Chefs. I enjoy this place, 3 stars seems too low yet I can’t seem to give it 4 stars myself which tells me something. Anyway, this place beats out any fast food in the area so if you’re looking for a good lunch, then by all means give it a shot. It’s fast and efficient for take out. I’ve been here 3 times and I love their Chicken Kiev. I have no idea whether this Chicken Kiev is home made or store bought and heated, but either way it’s delicious. It sits on a fluffy bed of rice and steamed carrots which are the perfect compliment. I love cutting into the Kiev and having the herbal oil ooze onto the rice. Man, this is a good dish and I order it every time. Comes with a soup or salad as well. I got the clam chowder today. Let’s get this straight though, just because it has clams in it does not mean it’s clam chowder. It was more like a chicken and wild rice minus the chicken and rice? Anyway, it was a good soup… very peppery which I like… but to call it a clam chowder is just a misrepresentation. We got 3 orders of BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp… sounded good so I order them for my coworkers and I to share. At $ 1.50 a pop, I was expecting something more than just a piece of shrimp on a toothpick with flimsy bacon wrapped on it and store bought bbq sauce painted on. 3 measly pieces… totally underwhelming and not worth that price. I also shared my coworkers steak quesadilla. This was a huge portion for $ 11(with steak). It was pretty good but more like bar food. I did like the chunks of jalapeño in the quesadilla. Might be good to share amongst friends, while drinking and not so much for lunch. The space is nice. The dining room was clean and had nice(but kind of tacky) décor. The patio seemed nice on such a beautiful day like today. The bar seems like it could be an after work happy hour spot. I noticed that there were a lot of regulars as well that the owner and the workers knew by name. Either way, I would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good –but not upscale– meal for lunch or dinner.

Went here with two friends last night for dinner. Pros: – food was good(not out-of-this-world but better than average) – ambiance was good(the place was clean and style was up to date) – prices were decent — better than average for the quality of food Cons: – waitress was short and unfriendly. If I cared enough to get her name, I probably would have mentioned it to manager on duty. – the«bar» area was not only loud in volume(the music was so loud, my friends and I couldn’t even stand in the foyer and say good bye to each other) but there were two patrons who were so extremely drunk, they were literally stumbling around the dining room area of the restaurant. One patron was actually holding the other one up. It was appalling. If the bar could be separated from the restaurant and they could get better waitstaff(friendlier and with more of a personality) then I probably would have given this place 4 stars and recommended it but until that happens — go to one of the numerous other restaurants in the Elk Grove Village /Wood Dale area.
