Domino’s Pizza

After originally calling and abruptly being put on hold I placed my order online. 25 minutes later I just went in and they said it would be an additional 8 minutes. In other words they hadn’t even started on it.

When it comes to fast food pizza, I gotta say, I have always been a Papa John’s gal, however, when in a pinch last week, Domino’s got me out of a jam… and how!
I had a lunch at a Benson office at 11am for 55 staff members. I called EVERYONE, including my usual, Papa John’s to help take care of my situation of having at least 17 pizzas made by 10:45am for an 11am lunch. They would not do it. I called Pizza Hut, not knowing there was a Domino’s in benson since I am unfamiliar with the area, and they would not do it. Let me preface this with the fact that I told all of them that it would mean they would get the sale of 17 pizzas… no one would bite.
Lastly, I called Domino’s in Benson and not only did the manager agree to do it, but he asked Jared (super fab pizza maker) to come in early the next day, before opening, to make my 17 pizzas and have them ready by 10:45am. I offered to pick them up since they did not have a delivery person that early so it worked out beautifully. They were 2 miles from the office I needed to go to and so I got the pizzas in my car, driven to their office, and delivered still hot, by 10:50am.
I don’t know anyone else in the Benson area who would have done this for me, since I asked everyone and no one did. The staff loved the pizza and Jared/Domino’s saved the day! :)
