Dear Unilocal,Can I please give them 20 stars? Pretty Pretty Please?! I really promise that they earned them! I mean really.
At the moment, there is nothing else like this place. If you’ve ever tried or thought about trying any of the mud run obstacle courses that have swept the nation the past few years, you NEED to come here. It’s better. Way better.
The course is long enough to be challenging to most people, but short enough that anyone can do this without worrying about the running. There are so many obstacles, that you feel like you’re barely ever running anyway. That brings us to the obstacles… holy crap are there some challenges. I did not manage to complete a lot of them and I’m fine with that. Everyone that I was with left there with an ecstatic high about all the things they did accomplish like I’ve never seen from anything else in my life (including other obstacle races). You will be challenged and encouraged, but if you try and you can’t finish it, no one is going to push you to put yourself in danger. (Obviously you should realized that climbing high obstacles while covered in mud is inherently a dangerous activity and it’s up to you to recognize when you don’t have enough strength left). The guides were AMAZING.
I really can’t say enough good things about this place. I’m certain that this place is going to absolutely take off (even more than it already has), and I’m going to be so happy for the owners when it does. They have some really exciting plans for the future and you’re not going to want to miss them.
So before you plan your next race, stop and sign up for a day to visit here instead. You will not be disappointed.
