Came here for a family celebration and I thought it was pretty alright. It’s your typical Cantonese take out restaurant, specializing in roast meats. There are two tables that can probably fit about 15 people each so take out is obviously what they are more well known for. The place seemed pretty clean but the floors were super slippery for some reason. The server that we had was very cordial and attentive! She was definitely one of the highlights of the entire dinner! We got the roast pig dinner special and I would say that it had some of the best roast pork I’ve ever tasted! The skin was very crispy while the meat was not overly fatty. It also comes with buns similar to the ones that you get when you order Peking duck and I thought the combination was delicious! As for the other food, it was pretty average. The shrimp with walnuts were ok but definitely not the best I’ve had. I really liked the seafood stir fry but again, not the best I’ve had. The chicken was a little salty in my opinion and the fish was a little too dry. I was not a fan of the fried rice because it had dried shrimp pieces in it that made it a little too salty. I also was not a fan of the yee mein because it was dry and flavorless. Overall, I would say the dinner special that we got was pretty mediocre. However, the roast pig, which was the star of the special, was definitely a highlight. Service was good too, which led to an enjoyable dining experience. I would say to come here for the take out meats rather than the sit down meals because I heard the take out meats are really good.

As everyone is saying, just come for the roasted meats. Flavor is really good. Recommend especially the roast duck and pig with the crispy skin. Can’t go wrong with these.

Its a must go to spot for the roasted meats. The beef chow fun is good as well. I can’t vouch for anything else but just those items alone is worth trying!

Meh. I had the Rohan veggie over rice lunch special. The sauce was tasty but the mushrooms seem to be dried and rehydrated and I’m not talking about the shiitake kind. I’m talking about the usually canned straw mushrooms and button mushrooms. The baby corn seemed like it was previously frozen. That jus ruined the whole meal for me.

Great place for roast pork or roast duck or both. You can grab some delicious roast meats with rice and veg for only $ 5. Awesome!

Delicious roasted meats at a bargain! I ordered a three treasure rice which consists of three meats of your choosing, some steamed cabbage and rice. I was pleasantly surprised to open the box and it had nice big pieces of meat at the top. I am used to other places that skimp on the meat and getting lots of bone. Very tasty, and lean meats.

Ordered a won ton noodle soup with roast pork to go. First they did not have this ready so they had to go to the back to make it from scratch. Most places have the noodles and won tons ready to boil up front. Second there was a delay in just getting them started cooking because they were busy with a ladder fixing the door to the kitchen. Third, the order came out with just soup and noodles in a container. Not only did they not bother separating the soup, they forgot the won tons. So back it went to the kitchen. Finally, when I returned home the won ton’s were not cooked. So beware of getting food here. They have no qualms serving customers undercooked pork.

This place is a hit or miss. The hits are the window meats on rice dishes are pretty good, above average. This also goes for the Ala carte rice dishes from the kitchen. The misses are from one experience when I got a chicken entrée dish, I believe chicken cashew. And it had like 4 small pieces of chicken. that was a total disappointment. I want to like this place and maybe I’ll give the entrée another chance. The rice dishes are good because they do it in front of you. And I think angry chinese ladies would call them out if they see something they don’t like so they’re on their toes on that.

Saw this place open a few months back and had yet to go in even though I pass it every day on my way to and fro the D train. Well I guess they start roasting the meat around 7am because when I am upstairs waiting for the train the smell keeps wafting up at me. Well I finally gave in. Stopped in this afternoon for a takeout lunch and really the only thing on my mind despite the vast menu(234 items!) was the Roast Duck. For 5 dollars you get a decent serving of the duck over rice, a small amount of cooked greens and a really odd little cup of soup that tasted like the pan dripping when you make Turkey. The Duck was the reason I came though and it was great. Crispy, fatty skin with rich incredibly flavorful meat underneath. Hacked up right before my eyes. A lady was getting the roast pork and Im pretty sure thats next on my list. I will probably go down the list of the roasted meats that are on display in the window. This took the place of the failed Tea Meet Me shop that nobody is mourning.

Amazing service. Amazing food. Small restaurant but food was great. You just have to know what to order. If you’re going to be ordering typical Chinese American dishes might as well go to a Chinese fast food otherwise, great for authentic Chinese dishes.

I think their foods was really good. I especially liked the beef and broccoli. By the way, if you’re trying to order that and you want actual broccoli, you need to ask for American broccoli or else they will give you Chinese broccoli. Their foods are absolutely delicious; however, most people seem to only like the meats at the window. Would come often. The waiters are very friendly too.

I came here for lunch with my parents. It’s a small restaurant. There was not that much decoration but there is a big screen tv. The service was great. People there are very nice. When it comes to the food it’s not so great. We had a wonton soup, half a roast duck, a seafood pan fried noodle which later became a soy sauce pan fried noodle. Let me explain how that happened. The seafood in the pan fried noodle wasn’t fresh so we have to send it back. Our waiter recommended the soy sauce pan fried noodle which was better but a little too salty. I loved their service and how they handle that situation. The wonton soup was okay. The roast duck was delicious. Any meat that you see by the window are delicious. The bathroom is very nice and clean. I felt like i was in a club.

You’ll find this new chinese shop on 18th ave by the subway station. I would say definitley come here for the roasted meats rather than the sit down food items. The prepared food items weren’t a stand out. I had the roast pork fried egg rice dish for lunch and it was super oily and the eggs had a unusual texture to it that didn’t seem like eggs or fried. As if it was mixed with a batter which is strange. I would of given 1 star but they redeemed themselves with the take out roasted meat items. The roast pork was flavorful, tender and had a good price as well as the roasted pig. Crunchy skin and tender meat. Great for take out. Though they forgot to give me the soy sauce and hoi sin sauce for the roasted meat items. A minus for service.

The wait time for the food was over 30 minutes because I don’t think they were prepared for the volume of customers. They are open just a week. The food was good. The eggplant in garlic sauce was the best I’ve had in quite some time. The fried rice was good too. The reason I went was because my mom wanted wonton soup. It was on the menu but they said they didn’t have any. My aunt wanted beef and broccoli, and the variety of green they gave was not broccoli. It was more like bok choy. Maybe we will wait until they better establishe there service!
