I really enjoyed my dinner here. The atmosphere is calm and a cool relief from the Arkansas heat and humidity(a ginormous fan). The food was great. The service was prompt. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries and fried okra. The fried okra was some of the best I have had. I got the spicy sauce to go with my pork and it was in fact spicy. I often find that spicy bbq sauce is a bit more milder than I would like but Dinks was just the right heat. Definitely recommend this joint.

After eating at Smoke N Joe’s the night prior I was worried that every NW Arkansas BBQ other than Whole Hog was a letdown. Meanwhile, Dinks was far better than I expected. Affordable, laid back and packed with flavor Dinks is better than average BBQ in a land filled with an endless number of restaurants to eat in. If you’re going to eat BBQ(in a sit down location) Dinks & Whole Hog are the two places you’ll need to consider. Dinks offers three sweet(and one a tad spicy) sausage to cover meats with: a Carolina, spicy and regular. And, again, if you like sweet stuff, all will do. As for the meats I tried four and none of them brought any disappointment. This non-fancy spot gives meat lovers a chance for tasty brisket, moist chopped chicken, fair pulled pork and chopped brisket that won’t be the best you’ve ever had, but leaves little to complain about, too. As for the sides, all are fair. The fries seemed average, but the fried okra was much better and the corn tasted like regular boiled corn. To be honest, we were so full from the meat we didn’t pay much attention to the sides. When in the mood for lunch or dinner BBQ you’ll find a comfortable home here with friendly service, fair portions and plenty of meat.

Atmosphere: Casual, seat yourself Wait: We went on a Saturday at 6pm and there was no wait! Food: American Dip– Shaved beef, crispy onions, Swiss cheese, on a hoagie served with au jus. I also added the Dinks original BBQ sauce(also amazing) SODELICIOUS! The cashier recommended it and it was one of the best BBQ sandwiches I’ve had! Do yourself a favor and order it! Pulled Pork Sandwich– Pulled pork on a hoagie. Added the Dinks sweet bbq sauce– very good! The meat was tender and very flavorful. My husband had this sandwich and enjoyed it but he kept asking for bites of my dip sandwich and said he will order the dip next time. I had onion rings as a side and they were some of the best onion rings I’ve had. They had the perfect ratio of batter to onion. Service: Excellent! The staff were very friendly I can’t wait to go back and eat another American Dip.

Dink’s Barbeque is the best. Never any fat or gristle in their beef. Always excellent tasting! Wonderful menu with something for everyone. The restaurant is big with plenty of seating. The people who work there are always friendly and eager to help.

Let me start with the meat is great! Vinegar based BBQ which I am normally not a fan of, but they are actually pretty good here. After that things go down hill quick. Very long wait to order and get food. Place wasn’t even busy. Maybe 5 families /couples there to eat dinner. When food arrived all sides were cold except kids okra. I think they made everyone’s plate and held them till okra was ready. Cold fries … Yuck! Wife’s pickles had mildew taste. Have 3 pickle lovers in family. All disliked. And the icing on the cake for not ever going back … Kids eat free ended Jan 1st. Guess we will go back to our regular BBQ join, Dickeys.

Every now in then you run into that restaurant with good food, quick service, and outstanding service. Dinks had all of this and decent portions to boot. Will definitely visit again. Did I mention there was 12 of us in my party. Go figure!

Stopped by last evening for dinner. I was the only customer in the place @ 6PM. Tables were not clean, floor needed to be swept. No a good sign while waiting for your food. Food was«ok» but with so many other Bar-B-Que places to choose from, I won’t be back.

My Husband and I just had lunch here. We received our order pretty quickly. The food was ok. Definitely wouldn’t put it in my top 5. I did notice, however, that there were a few things that needed to be cleaned up. There were tables with dirty glasses on them and our table was sticky. Also, when we went to the beverage station to fill up our cups, it looked like there was something growing in the tray that catches the extra ice under the soda fountain.

The bbq sauces are amazing here, I really like the Carolina sauce. I ordered a bbq chicken salad which was amazing… lots of moist chicken. My coworker ordered the pulled pork and had no complaints!

Out of the two BBQ places I’ve tried in Bentonville, this place wins hands down, no contest. And as far as restaurant barbecue goes, this is some of the better I’ve had. Everything was tender, moist and flavorful. Warm sauces is a nice touch.

This review is based on 2 people eating for lunch. We had the sliced brisket(dry), the chopped pork(very good), and the hot«sausage»(please don’t confuse this with actual sausage as Dinks version is the classic red hots with the red food dye) with sides of fries(frozen matchstick version) and slaw(ok). The barbecue sauce was good and masked some of the failings in the meat. There was an exceptional lack of interest in us as customers with only 2 tables of customers in the entire restaurant and an odd woman, dressed like a homeless person, sitting in dining room by the drink and sauce station that was giving customers the stink eye as they did their business. Weird. With other choices for BBQ I won’t be coming back!

Best Brisket in NorthWest Arkansas! Overall, a great place to eat. Menu items I’ve tried other than the brisket have been good, but no better than other area BBQ joints.

Almost good. Friday night at 6:30p and two people in the place. Chopped beef was dry, beans good, potato salad generic.

The BBQ joint with the big fan! Delicious flavors and options for BBQ. Salad orders are huge, tasty sides(particularly the sweet potato fries!), and yummy meats. Although it can be dry sometimes, particularly the sliced brisket(dryness better masked when you get it chopped) and the ribs at times. They have a condiment section with three different types of BBQ you can lather on your meats, original, Carolina and spicy. I recommend the Lone Star platter(2 meats) or Three Meat platter. Comes with two sides, a pickle and toast. I only gave it a three stars though. I used to come here all of the time as my go-to BBQ place, but don’t as often anymore because they seem to be skimping out on the portions of meat lately the last few times I’ve gone here. It’s what I’ve been noticing and pretty disappointed. Overall, good food and atmosphere.

Came here for dinner tonight. We were hungry and driving by and the reviews weren’t bad so we decided to come! We came around 7:40pm. so close to closing time. BTW, Unilocal says it closes at 9pm, when it actually closes at 8pm. That is what it says on the door. Wait: No wait in line and food was ready relatively quickly. The restaurant was not too crowded at this time. Food: I just ordered a few sides — baked beans, corn on the cobb and potato salad. All were really good. My husband got the Dink’s sandwich and enjoyed it. They have a few sauces you can get on the side — my husband got the sweet BBQ sauce and also the spicy BBQ sauce. Both were tasty. Customer Service: Friendly. Atmosphere: Not too shabby. Regular BBQ restaurant.

Service is friendly, the pulled pork… I had better, brisket… dry, very dry, the corn was awful, no flavor at all. I’m no BBQ expert, but this place is average at best. Unilocal reviewers, you let me down… or it was a bad night.

I’m happy to report that for my 499th Unilocal,Dink’s BBQ scored a 4-star rating. The ‘Que here at Dink’s had a subtle smoke flavor(even though it probably came from a gas smoker) and was quite tasty. I partook of the Sampler plate and was impressed with the moisture and tenderness of all the meats provided. The chunk o’ brisket at Dink’s would have shamed a few underperforming Texas BBQ joints – cooked to the right doneness, a little bark, just a good bit of fat and a wee amount of tenderness to impart a nice beefy mouthfeel. It’s by no means on par with some of the legendary brisket houses in Texas, but it’s a good sneak preview. The pulled pork was something of an anomaly, emerging from the kitchen chopped fine like beef, but it too was juicy and tender with a little bit of bark too. The pork ribs appeared to have a dry rubbed crust, tender on the inside, savory on the outside. The hot sausage was probably the only disappointment, tasting more like it came from a grocery case than a butcher shop – commercial grade stuff. Potato salad and fried okra were both recommended as sides. Here was another rendition of potato salad flavored with dry ranch dressing and some tartness provided by a touch of mustard or sour cream. The okra came out fresh fried, but it was just too mediocre for me to enjoy. I also could’ve done without the hoagie half and the pickle spear(which they forgot to omit) but I imagine some folks would expect both. Dink’s also offers three types of sauces: original, spicy and Carolina – so you won’t have to deal with the Sauce Confusion at other places. Due to the mid-afternoon hour, my meal was brought out to my table instead of left at the counter. I appreciated this extra personal effort and was happy I wasn’t just another number waiting at the window. Serious BBQ(at least for NW Arkansas) is to be found here; skip the competitor down the road and try Dink’s.

First time here. Table for 3. Self-seating. Plenty of choices. ATMOSPHERE: Walk up order at the window. They give you a number and deliver it to you or call your number. TV’s and big windows. HUGE ceiling fan… I couldn’t take my eyes off of it. Casual and kick back kinda joint… just like any other typical BBQ eating area. SERVICE: Very friendly staff. Again, they deliver food to you. All drinks, utensils and condiments are self served. FOOD: Larger portions, excellent variety of sides to choose from. Other than the dry ends on the baby back ribs, the meats(spare ribs, pulled pork, brisket and sausage) were tender, moist and still warm. I also liked that the ribs had a little fat to it. The sides we had were corn, sour-cream potato salad, baked beans, sweet potato fries and fried okra. All the sides were very well made and tasty. Sweet potato fries had a pinch of cinnamon, which was a little different, but I liked it. The corn was just plain ol’ corn on a cob. The sauces were different in a good way –more smokey and sweet. OVERALL: Great first time experience. I would definitely return with friends. RECOMMENDATIONSTOTHEGUESTS: ENJOY! RECOMMENDATIONSTOTHEOWNERS: Wet Naps?

Dinks may not be the best BBQ joint in the world, but for the value and location, it simply can not be beat. I was in Bentonville on business and glad it was recommended to me. I ordered a Sam Adams beer, the«hurt pig» sandwich with sides(GETTHEPOTATOSALAD!!) and it was about $ 10. Atmosphere is pretty typical of most BBQ joints, mostly centered around function. The sandwich tasted great. Not much on sauce, good spice but not overbearing. The potato salad was excellent. Very creamy mustard potato salad. Can you tell I liked it? I want some right now!
