You would expect a place like this in NYC. Onyx is a great addition to the B’ville coffee scene!
Although I’m not a coffee drinker, I do enjoy their teas. The vibe at this place is so cool! I would come here for the ambience alone.
Side note: They play tasty tunes.
Glad it’s within walking distance of my job. Whenever I’m in B’ville, you can catch me at Onyx taking a much needed break.

I’d heard a lot about Onyx from friends but hadn’t had time to go there. Wow, I was really impressed. Not only was the staff super friendly and helped me pick out a coffee to try, but when it came out it had a heart on the top! So neat! It tasted great too. Really enjoyed sitting in the shop and relaxing. I’ve been back like… five times since. Ha! If you want to try local and great then you must try out this place!!!

Right off the bat the girl at the counter was not friendly or welcoming. In fact she was quite rude. The shop itself is very cool with all the flashy coffee technology that you would expect from a name like coffee lab however the ratio of espresso to milk in the variant sized lattes is way off. My husband’s small was so strong even he being of Colombian heritage could not drink it and my large tasted mostly of milk with the burnt roasted flavor from the (in my opinion) over roasted espresso. The tarts were dry and way over priced at $ 3 for a one bite dessert. Probably a cool place to grab a beer and enjoy the downtown culture but not our new coffee spot. Kennedy coffee will still be that for us!

Fantastic coffee!!! This makes Starbucks seem like Dennys… and I do like Starbucks, but this place is so wonderful. If you truly love coffee don’t skip this place.

Honestly. Sadly. This place is better than anything in the major metropolitan city I’ve been too. Hip. Lots of outlets for my laptop. Amazing décor. Food & Beer! Watch out Starbucks!

Nice environment although very noisy. The surfaces are all reflective and I found myself having to speak very loudly to my colleague so he could hear me above the noise of everyone else.
The cookie was nice and fresh. I ordered the Onyx Mocha but I think I was given a pumpkin spice version. It was nice but exceedingly sweet. I couldn’t really taste the coffee. It’s also VERY expensive.

Can a coffee shop get any better than this? Nope. You will not find a coffee shop like this anywhere in the Midwest. The product and professionalism of this place will give any big shop on the West Coast a run for their money. Jon and Andrea have truly created a beautiful coffee community with their craft. If you find yourself in the Bentonville area and have any appreciation for craft coffee– go here (or any of the other Onyx Cafes) without hesitation.

Ok, so I have always rolled my eyes at the people waiting in line for harsh, burnt flavored Starbucks… Especially since they do not support our troops, but I digress. Then someone brought me coffee from Onyx… WOW!!! This coffee is delicious, SMOOTH, incredible. Now it all makes sense! I will happily stand in line just for my once a week Mocha from heaven

Visited Bentonville for work and came across this coffee shop. I drink too much coffee and am afraid to say I’ve gotten bored of it. So I bought a cup of drip columbian and it reminded me of why I love coffee. I wish every cup tasted that good. Thanks Onyx!

Amazing drinks and amazing atmosphere. If you’re in the area I highly recommend it. Oatmeal Stout and APA are personal favorites from their beer selection. The Gob and Earl Grey Tea Latte are non-​alcohol favs. Place gets pretty busy in the evenings and weekends but the lines move pretty quick. Plenty of seating inside and out. Outside seating is currently limited to non-​alcohol drinks, however they will eventually be opening an outside alcohol area. Stay tuned!

One of the most meticulous and efficient coffee shops ever. I just had a cup of brewed coffee, dark rich and satisfying. Lots of hard surfaces so this place is far from quiet or intimate.
