Hang Tan

Such a lovely establishment. Locally, family owned, this place makes you feel like you’re at home. The owner, Karen, has some serious customer service skills. She treats you like a person, not a customer. She has bowls of candy out for you. She gives you free tanning lotion because ‘nobody should tan without applying lotion first. She gives you a tour of all her crazy themed rooms and beds. Her attitude rubs off on all of her employees as everyone is very friendly.
I never thought it would be important to review a tanning salon, but this stands out. Especially seeing the other neighborhood salons (Super Tan is the devil) that are constantly trying to upsell you to a more expensive bed/​plan/​lotion. There’s no pressure or hassle here. Just go, tan, take some candy hearts and be on your way. And don’t forget to apply lotion afterwards too. Apparently that is very important. Who knew? Thanks, Karen.
