As far as apartments go, can’t complain just yet. Maintenance is always right on task when something goes wrong, have had zero noise issues, and the actual apartment is clean. Not a fan of the leasing lady who handles issues because she hasn’t been able to handle the one thing that I dislike about living here… Can’t buzz people in if your phone number is considered long distance. Pretty inconvenient living on the 8th floor

There are not a ton of apartments to chose from that are close to B-W’s campus. Berea has anti-student laws that prohibit students renting houses(although some still do it). As a result, T.I.P. is one of the more popular places for B-W students to reside. I have nothing against curries or other pungent SE Asian meals, in fact I love them, but I don’t like my apartment to smell like it 100% of the time. I am not sure what they do at T.I.P., perhaps teleport the scents and aromas from simmering pots at a local Thai eatery directly into the HVAC of their building, but most of the interior smells of a spicy red curry. Also, a friend of mine is pretty sure she lived below a group of redneck, cowboy wicans. She thinks one of them vexed her while they were doing laundry together. I would only live here if I was looking for cheap student housing.
